I agree with your list. So many choices to try to narrow down into a top 20. What are your thoughts on Gun Club VR? I think it is some of the best gun mechanics in VR or flat gaming.
Ive been playing Minecraft Java since day1, but when the ps4 patch came out for VR, I bought it for PS4 at full price. It was worth it. Game changer. Takes a bit getting use to the controls though. But I got it.
I hope WW3 doesn't happen before we can get an expanded and improved version of S&S. Imagine it with hundreds of craftable items, thousands of types of junk to scrap, an endless story mode where NPCs keep giving you things to do, co-op Trial, maybe even a PvP mode? It would be glorious. It would make the original, which I consider to be the best VR game of all time, look like a tech demo. I salivate at the thought.

I have PSVR and Quest 1. Here is my opinion of each unit's benefits and failings: Quest: Much, much better controllers. Zero headset drift, ever. That makes a huge difference over the course of using the headsets Roomscale movement is phenomenal. A real game-changer. Once you play roomscale you really get that aha moment. No wires, ready anytime, just drop it on and go. Honestly, it makes the experience more inviting over time. $299 hardware price, all in. That has to count for something. Has a personalizable VR Home experience which just feels like every VR experience should offer. Promising social spaces like Venues and Horizon, however, while these at least exist, they are still underdeveloped in terms of being a place you would want to hang out in more than 10 min. You have to buy an aftermarket add on to balance the headset so it doesn't pull down on your face. Games are more expensive than PSVR. Sales are often pathetic discounts of 10% Textures are lower res and do not have metallic shaders compared to PSVR There are too few "system-selling exclusives". eg. Beat Saber is available everywhere. Horizon is not a system seller yet. I mean, Phantom Covert Ops is probably the best exclusive. And it's good, but it's not "Change my VR platform" good. Sideloading is nice, but there is soooooooooooo much junk on the sideload store. PSVR There are way more games, and better games than the Quest. Star Wars Squadrons, Final Assault, Iron Man, Dreams, No Mans Sky, AstroBot, Borderlands 2, Skyrim - That is a list of games that makes owning PSVR totally worth it. And I didnt even get into the non-exclusives like Pistol Whip and Beat Saber, Moss, and Red Matter, Battlezone, Star Trek Bridge Crew, Tetris Effect. Oh god yes... so good.... and the games go on GOOD SALES which lowers your total cost of ownership. Overall -- The games look better on PSVR. Metallic surfaces and higher poly counts (not by much but noticeable) The PSVR wand controllers are frankly pathetic for anything other than beat saber. There is headset drift sometimes and it is a damn PITA! You have to go through going to your tv den, turning on your PS4, then navigating through flatscreen ui and deal with wires to finally get into VR. It's just not as inviting. There is no VR Home. There are no real social spaces. Sony HAD PlayStation Home in the PS3 days which would be a killer app for vr but they shut it down. It's not roomscale. You kinda have to stand in one spot. You start to notice this more and more over time. And the wire. The headset sits and adjusts nicely on your head, right out of the box. You need to own a PS4 in order to make this work. Hardware all in cost is
@@moneymaster4812 Quest 2 improves the horsepower of the Quest 1 headset, but it doesn't change the fact that PSVR has the best games library right now. Star Wars Squadrons, Astro Bot, Wipeout, and Dreams being highlights. So I would still go with PSVR for the time being. If you have a powerful gaming PC, you could link the Quest2 with Oculus Link wire and play Steam VR games which makes it a much more fair fight. If you do have a good gaming PC, then you have to ask, is my PC located in a space that has the room space for VR? If yes, then you would gain access to PC sales and exclusives (Half Life Alyx) and graphics of PCVR games. But for me, my TV is better situated for VR, and that means my PS4 is in a better place for VR. So PSVR wins in that case.
The thing about Quest is, by the time it has enough games to really be a better buy than PSVR, it's gonna be time for Quest 3 or 4, with how they're going. I would wait until the games are there so you don't end up with a 300 dollar paperweight with no resale value.
I was lucky enough to score a PS5, and am so sad that the update doesn't work with VR. It's such a jarring disparity between next gen and the headset resolution. Still an amazing experience, though.

In killing floor can you move around freely? I don’t own a psvr but it looks like most games are on rails or stuck to the ground, can anyone confirm please? Much appreciated! 😀
I don’t have the psvr but these games look cool

Great list and some nice editing! I own ecactly 75% of the list :D still wanting to get Squadrons and WDS&S.
Some great contenders for this list for me would be Audica, Moss, Red Matter, Dino Frontier and I Expect You To Die.
Moss is incredible! Such beautiful graphics in that game!
Thank you for showing these. 😊
Nice list dude. I have jus put down some cash for a full psvr setup for my channel. Looks like I am missing a couple of titles. Very well presented.
Where is Final Assault????
Tetris. I love that game
What?!? No MOSS??? :(
Is there people still playing firewall wall ? Bought a vr for my son for Xmas and that along with it
I'll probably be playing firewall over Christmas.
Just brought a vr myself.
@@grumpy-dad3701 drop me your pSN and hopefully play together.
@CARL Rauschkolb thanks bro. Bought B&T, farpoint. I may get doom. Also bought the 2 walking dead vr games
@@casualgaming6488 jb39 hopefully see you online

Yeah, before the new update my headset was getting dusty because you couldn’t find a game, hopped on today and I didn’t have a problem finding a game.
Wait a minute ... no love for Wild Turkey Hunter VR?? But seriously, I don't envy ever having to compile a Top-(whatever number) PSVR games list. Way too many great ones to choose from ... it would be difficult to bump some of them off the list. Awesome (as always) video Chris!
@@VRGRID I knew it!
Gorn is one of the best games
I agree with your list. So many choices to try to narrow down into a top 20. What are your thoughts on Gun Club VR? I think it is some of the best gun mechanics in VR or flat gaming.
@@VRGRID When you are not working towards making videos for RUclips what VR games do you play the most just for the fun of it?
I Just Bought The PSVR And Its Super Good!! Its Easy To Setup And The Graphic Is Good To :) I Recomend You To Buy A PSVR! :)
yea i have psvr, motion controllers and aim controller its really sick
Great list Shugg\m/
Saints and sinners looks sooooo fun I need it now thanks you
Love your intro!! Subd
I'm getting the psvr headset and controllers for chriiiiiissssstmassssss
How is it?
What games did you get first and which are best?
Sony needs to make gloves instead of controllers for the VR2. Throughout the whole game it looks like you’re in handcuffs with the controller 😂

Thats what I did

Where the hell was swordsman, on of the best games on psvr
That plane part in blood and truth was a reference to uncharted 3
The persistence, Pistol whip and Vader immortal are some other favorites of mine 🤩🤩 that didn't make the list
Ive been playing Minecraft Java since day1, but when the ps4 patch came out for VR, I bought it for PS4 at full price. It was worth it. Game changer. Takes a bit getting use to the controls though. But I got it.
Minecraft VR makes me so sick

Good stuff Chris!
Skyrim vr seems incredible.. but HELL NO I am not voluntary going to stand face to face with giant fucking spiders!

I think we are a few vr generations away from that unfortunately.
Where did you get the Aim controller stock from??
Company doesn't exist anymore
Can i ask if there is any game that would use more than 1 aim controller for a single console?
Are all versions of dirt rally vr compatible or just those marked as such?
It used to be DLC that you downloaded. I'm not sure what it is anymore.
My psvr stopped working months ago and I replaced it with the Rift. I don't regret making the switch at all, but I do miss some of the exclusives. I'm especially disappointed that Iron Man VR came out not long after my headset broke. I really would have liked to have played that one.
Ha! He must hate me because I am the one that will experience VR and Skyrim, BOTH for the first time, just waiting to get my hand on a PS5.... it's the one game that I been wanting to play on VR and reason why I want to get it! I wanna experience that world for the first time in VR.... just wish Witcher 3 was VR
Why was Vader immortal not included in this list?
Is Vader good or no I want to get it but I don know anything about it
What are good PSVR multiplayer games? I just bought two used PSVRs for my wife and I to play on separate consoles together. We usually play warzone and brawhalla...
Rec room is pretty fun. And beat saber is fun too, but the multiplayer update is coming on psvr in January, so you might need to wait a bit.
Firewall is good if you’re into any tac shooters like the rainbow six franchise. I’m a massive fan and as soon as I saw firewall, I got a psvr and an aim controller. You really feel like a team whilst playing that game and the player base is beyond the friendliest i have been a part of
@@eddiewhitaker9613 i bought a gun from offerup I’m going to buy the bundle with the game so I can get the other gun. so we will only have one disk. How do we play on desperate consoles together with only one disk ?
Sean FTW you can both play, only not at the same time. When you play you can have the game downloaded but you have to have the disc in. So to play with your wife you would have to get the other disc

The car from ready player one nice
Lol yes I know the car lol it’s just ironic I was watching ready player one last night and seen his car in the movie “same car” so then forwarded my thinking to hmm I should check out vr again because the movie is all VR based. I own it and I haven’t touched it in a wile then saw the car on your video so everything was meant to be lol to find ur video and turn on my vr today and check out new games and load times with the ps5 I got the adapter months ago but still hadn’t turned it on any any of these. Games HDR? Yet?
Should I buy a ps4 vr headset or an oculus quest 2?
After watching your PSVR Top 20 video, you convinced me to pick up The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners PSVR. I never heard of this game prior to this video and when I searched online and at retail stores, it has been sold out. I managed to pick up the last new copy one particular GameStop had. Lucky me!
I have most of these games on your list if they were released physically. Speaking on physical media, in the future, please state whether the game you see discussion has seen a physical release at the time of the video. That would be most helpful.
Great top 20 video. I enjoyed it. Now, I have to pick up Skyrim VR at some point when the price isn’t $59.99.
That's probably the best vr game on psvr, quest etc
Skyrim and Resident Evil are super grainy on my PS4, does the PRO really make a big difference? Skyrim is basically unplayable its so badly pixelated.
Awesome video! Subscribed
Is this still supported? I don't want to waste my money I got a ps5 coming and want to add this ... It's there problems for ps5 adaptation?

A solid list for me but there is no way I could leave off Moss or the Persistence.
I'm surprised rec room didn't make it, other than that great list! :)
I've played skyrim normally on pc playstation 3 and 4 but the vr I've a question is it possible to install in game mods like in skyrim playstation 4 version either way I'm getting the vr version I'm only asking to add more content to it
Just brought espire 1 and I gotta admit its fun and the graphics are pretty damn good
Is no mans sky co-OP compatible
As a 40 year old. I probably am one of the last of our generation that can say that their first Skyrim playthrough is in VR.
space junkies has bot support on psvr at least, great list though I am not surprised minecraft isnt here as I know you hate the franchise It does amaze me dreams was ignored as well. owell at least you had iron man and given how hard deciding these lists are I think you did a great job.
@@VRGRID yeah bots was definitely a later admission. And yeah I guess dreams is more a platform then a single amazing game, what is the exact reason you don't like Minecraft not that it bothers me if u like it or not just curiosity
Check out Sparc vr!! Best vr game I have played!!
@@mikem167 I've got it, sadly the lack of Ai and skilled community make it a game that is hard for myself to enjoy. I think if repackaged with bot support in a sequel would be a win though as the core game is definitely amazing
@@LipnoxVR I do wish it had bots but the player base is growing and as long as you don't play in the morning I never have problems finding a good match and I consider myself a top level player.
There's rumors going around of a PS5 VR, I'm crossing my fingers that this VR will go on sale by then.
Shugghead Gaming what would be a good deal?
Who is that badass in the PS PJamas?
No mention of Déraciné :(
Missed pistol whip but great list !
Can anyone just tell me psvr or quest 2 which is better
I have PSVR and Quest 1. Here is my opinion of each unit's benefits and failings:
Quest:
Much, much better controllers.
Zero headset drift, ever. That makes a huge difference over the course of using the headsets
Roomscale movement is phenomenal.
Sales are often pathetic discounts of 10%
Textures are lower res and do not have metallic shaders compared to PSVR
There are too few "system-selling exclusives".
PSVR
There are way more games, and better games than the Quest.
Metallic surfaces and higher poly counts (not by much but noticeable)
The PSVR wand controllers are frankly pathetic for anything other than beat saber.
Hardware all in cost is
Thanks for that but would u still prefer it over quest 2?
@@VRGRID The best thing about it that if i have good pc and i have it i can play a huge library of games with oculus quest 2
Great list, I'd put super hot higher though.
Blood and truth I got that for free, a few months back, top game
Wait where is gorn?
I was lucky enough to score a PS5, and am so sad that the update doesn't work with VR. It's such a jarring disparity between next gen and the headset resolution. Still an amazing experience, though.
