    btw, the reason why Fuzhou spent 8 years to build metro is that the soil property is too soft so it is very time-consuming and money costing to build this metro.

      @@BlondieinChina There are 4 more metro line will open during the next few years. Citys like Shanghai and Beijing, they start building metro decades ago, that is why they already have so many lines.

    • @lyzgeorge
      @lyzgeorge 4 года назад +20

      @@BlondieinChina actually another reason is that my hometown is a very ancient city for thousands of years. When they dig underground they found a lot of ancient ruins under many stations, which they had to halt and call experts for help, months later to resume building the subway.

    • @peteregan3862
      @peteregan3862 4 года назад +6

      @@lyzgeorge That makes sense. The shallower to the surface, the more useful a rail line. In Roma, Italia it takes forever to build a metro line for this reason. The build quick option is to build deep, but at stations a slow excavation is needed to recover historical artefacts - Fuzhou must have preserved much history by taking the time to do archaeology.

    Great timing for this video, I'm heading to Fuzhou in a few weeks time and I thought it was a shame you didn't have a video about it because there wasn't much to find on RUclips - looking forward to watching this video 😁

    I found many places in China like spicy food and put a pot of hot red pepper on the tables. For example in Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi...

    I lived in Fuzhou for 5 years. Never met him, but this Aaron dude must be the most poorly informed travel vlogger I've ever seen. Fuzhou is a part of Min cuisine - sweet and salty, and if you ever ate in restaurants with local cuisine or spoke a lick of Chinese you'd know that. The 'European' style building is the old missionary concession, maybe if this dude read a book or asked literally anyone what it is, he'd know. What about the cool local bars, the parks, the black and white temple, the abandoned propaganda movie lot / restaurant district, the list goes on. Your content is actually good, can't believe you're giving this clown any screen time.

    Only 2 subway lines, so small... just like Toronto, Canada’s most populous city hahaha

      @thearchitect5632 4 года назад +6

      4 more lines are under constriction with additional 5 more lines proposed. so yeah when she goes back a few more years (like 2022) there'll be like tripe the lines.

    That's sooooo funny. I live in Fuzhou and I can guarantee most of Fuzhou people cannot eat spicy food at all!!
