As someone who’s been using parallax I find this immensely helpful. Parallax really only has a handful of good tones because of its limited parameters which I can make work but this is exactly what I’ve been wanting. You have yourself a customer sir.
Hi..I came across this video after reaching out to the guys at Modern Metal Songwriter looking for a tutorial so I could dial in more of a modern jazz tone. Well, mission accomplished!! Thanks guys now I am going to watch the other video which supposedly is a quick knob by knob explanation of the whole system. I'm so glad that you offer this otherwise I'd be stuck using only the presets which to be honest don't do much for me. I need to craft my own tone and now I have it. Thanks Again!!
Contour switches for EQ! (Lowend Cleanup, midcut etc!) Check out our last video to hear some of it in action, we actually go over the amp knob by knob with a quick explanation 🔥🤘🏼
No, its more akin to how amp sims work for guitars with the fact is has multiple amps, pedals as well as all of the included mixing tools etc. Parallax does one sortve sound amp wise, and in most cases still leads you to doing this trick with splitting the bass so you can mix the tracks still past alp controls. The “original” plugin in this chain is mixing printed stems of another bass amp sim, so all of that work is post-amp sim for the other option and was my workflow prior to creating seismic
We have tossed around the idea of adding a tiny HPF option across the pedal page, or on each pedal in the form of a screw or something. Between all the testers involved none of us had really needed it when working with these as the pedal choices are mostly driven for those tonal choices and you can keep the lowend clean on the distortion pedals via controls, but I totally see where you're going. We have had a few people asking for it, so there's always a chance we bring it to life in the next few weeks as we are always updating and improving our plugins on feedback, so I appreciate you letting us know!
Give the free trial a run, and compare em side by side! 😉🔥 Parallax is great, it just has the downside of doing one specific sound really well, and it delivered! Seismic was designed to cover every bass tone imaginable with the 3 amps and 5 pedals, as well as the additional mixing work! Just two different processes If parallax is working though, no harm in sticking with it, thats the beauty of making music🤘🏼🤘🏼 - Isaiah

Very helpful thank you!

@@modernmusicsolutions that's what i meant! sorry if i was quite vague :P cheers!
Who’s the band/song used in the demo?
Theyre actually a new band based out of Ohio, hoping they have their first releases out soon! Will link them here as they release!
I’ll check back. Catchy tune
@@modernmusicsolutions any word on how this band/song is?
Woah. This thing really f*cks. Been holding off on watching this vid for the sake of my wallet lol. Damn.
Tell your wallet we apologize🤪
A bit of a shame that you can't engage the pre FX on the mids/highs only and keep the lowend completely clean imo.

Seems slightly better to me, but using so many fewer plug-ins and complicated routings would be worth it alone.

Yeah but I already bought neural dsp Parrallax two years ago
