- Today's tutorial is for those of you who may be looking to get your feet wet with Adobe Photoshop. In this lesson I'll be demonstrating how you can wrap text around a circle with Photoshop -- both inside and outside of a circle. This is something that even a first-time user of Photoshop can follow along with.

One of the best tutorials because 1) Simply explained, 2) No fluff, 3) Just long enough to demonstrate the technique, 4) No background music, 5) I had no idea this functionality existed! Thank you
Man do I love Photoshop tutorials, theyre always straight to the point with no extra bs. All tutorials should be held to this same standard.
I have used photoshop for years being a RUclips student and freelancing for major Companies and I really appreciate this tutorial. It would surprise many people because the things they take for granted limit their design creativity. Imagine a senior designer not knowing how to perform this task ?
I am very grateful for this piece. Inshalla
wow I love this. this is wayyyyy detailed than what I've seen so far. Thanks for this!
Right on time. I didn't know how to get the bottom text to do that, so thanks heaps!
This is THE MOST INTUITIVE TUTORIAL IVE EVER SEEN THANK YOU!!
Edit: if you guys want your bottom text to be on the outside of the circle like the thumbnail, all you have to do is duplicate the text, change the end points until its inside the circle (or just drag it in the circle as he shows you) go to windows>character> and adjust the Baseline shift option to - whatever fits. (Left bottom) Bam!
Thank you so much for this! Finally works! I also didn't know I could set 50% guides so easily that way either - I was always dragging my guides & trying to pinpoint exactly. Excellent tips here!!
Thank you Nick. This is a bloody good tutorial. I've listened to several videos prior to this one and some of them actually made it seem more complicated. Where as your tutorial made it seem so easy.
I am in agreement with everyone. Your video is the only video that explains it simple. I so appreciate you taking the time. Awesome.
ONE OF THE BEST TUTORIALS I'VE EVER SEEN. SIMPLE AND EASY!
This tutorial is well explained and very easy to follow. Thanks a lot.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tutorial! I tried following other videos and they just made it so complicated. Your way is so easy, many thanks!
I like that a tutorial casuly runs through all different important tools and tricks but it still feels like one single thing is achived. thanks!!
Amazing instructions! So simple, to the point, and now I did it!
You have the best, quickest, clearest tutorial about this subject. Thanks.
FYI I don't know about old versions of PS, but with PS 2021, you can legit double click on your canvas with the ellipse tool and set it from center and size without using the pink guides or holding shift, in other words it makes a perfectly centered circle in the smack dab middle of the canvas. 😊
I appreciate your video on Wrapping Text...with this knowledge I actually reworked an entire graphic's text layout and it looks awesome! Thanks for the help!
So well explained, thank you!
Someone that's knows what they are talking about and is direct to the point. A rarity on RUclips.
Awesome. I love when people just show you and get right to it.. you get a sub for that my friend
Thanks a lot.!
FYI : Anyone having a problem with disappearing text, try change the layers positions. The text layer should be higher than eclipse.
You are an excellent teacher, Nick!

Thank you for this. Great video.
Excellent Refresher. Thank you very much
After I make my line, and switching to Text mode and hovering over the line, my icon does not change...any help out there?
Try to slide and hold the mouse directly over the circle line for a second, and see if that fixes the issue. 👉🏿🚫
Thanks for the guide. I am looking for the same inverse circle type..
Great tip! Thanks a lot!
Awesome tutorials!
Thank you. This was exactly the help I needed with PS
just to share what i learned recently. to make a quick guide line, click ctrl + r to enable ruler. Then just click anywhere on the ruler and drag toward anywhere the line you desire. if you want it to be on center, just slowly drag the line towards the center and it will automatically snap the line ^^ applicable to horizontal and also vertical :)
Used to use PS decades ago and now trying to get reacquainted but the new one is a bit different and I can’t recall how I did things, so found this video very useful. Sub’d! Thanks
best tutorial that i have found

Problem... When I begin to type the circle disappear and I am not getting the wave line when moving the cursor over the circle.
Very helpful. Thank you.
Please I need assistance. I think I tempered with my settings on ps, now I can't text around the ellipse, any KY I touch, changes my settings...
Wow. No obnoxious background music. Articulate English. Current and informative. Thank you sir.
and no unnecessary intro!
Does this work with my own custom designs?I have Chinese characters on my original design and I want to wrap my Chinese text around the circle. Do I have to redraw them in PS to add them to my circle?
Thanks!
