It's one of his most underrated films. I watched it when I was maybe 12 years old and I really liked it, I didn't know it had been a box office bomb back then. I remember the trailer showing up on a lot of stuff.
Robin WIlliams isn't dead. You're only dead if people forget about you. Even after seven years since his passing, people still remember him and his legacy. They still appreciate his talents, his genius and his ability to bring joy to people's lives and make them forget about their troubles with a couple of laughs. The legend doesn't die just because the man does. So long as people still talk about you, you're never truly gone. As long as they speak your name, you continue even after your body has long since turned to dust. That's what it truly means to be immortal. A marvelous tribute to a great man. RIP Robin Williams - Gone but never truly "gone."
We all die twice............ once when our bodies give out, and once when people stop talking about us....... I want to believe Robin will be imortal, because how can one NOT remember him. Happy Birthday Chief ..
Robin Williams was extremely talented skilled at his art. Genuine compassionate loving person.. We were really lucky to have him in our lives. We from all over miss you
here's a big THANK YOU from a Russian, born decades too late and half a world too far, who for the 1st time truly discovered Robin last December, and have since then been catching up on everything i missed
We could so use a little of Robin's humor & kindness right about now. In a way I'm glad he isn't around to see the fear & hate in the world right now. It would be to hard on him even if he was healthy minded !!
I suffer from anxiety and depression and this video for the last 2 years has been my go to to make me smile, thank you and THANK YOU Robin for being such a talented man, may you rest in piece and forever be in our hearts. 👍❤️
Robin Williams was one of a kind. He was such a good man, though he was suffering from depression for years, perhaps even from the beginning of his career, and it eventually just caught up to him. He loved making other people happy and laugh, cause in a way that made him happy, and humor served as a distraction from the pain he was going through. I know that feeling all too well. You nearly lose your mind from the emotional torment you are going through, so much to the point where you kind of go crazy, crazy with humor. You turn the pain into humor, crying to laughter, and tears of sorrow to tears of joy. God Bless you Robin. I truly hope you are at peace.
Was a true honour to have met him. He took the time to talk, answer any questions I had, and I learned so much from him. Will always remember him and his great sense of humour.
I really loved this song in Toys, and thought it was one of Robin's most underrated films. The fact that you used it so beautifully to remember such a gift of a human being is just that much more appreciated.
Robin Williams was an extraordinary person of our generation. Compassionate empathetic supportive. I love Robin for allot of reasons He helped me get through my toughest battles. Thank you Robin for where I am now.
Out of all the famous people and actors that have passed in my lifetime, Robin Williams will be the only one I will miss with great admiration. There will never be another actor so talented and special as Robin who could do so much and bring so many smiles to everyone. You will be greatly missed my friend. Nothing stands out like the sound of laughter ....... and you created so much for the people of this world.
To understand the genius of Robin Williams is to appreciate the gift he possessed and shared with the world. There will never be another talent like him in my lifetime. How lucky am I that I got to experience his gifts.

I've mentioned this before in many other Robin Williams tributes. I had the ultimate pleasure of meeting this wonderful kindhearted loving soul in my one & only movie extra work in his movie Man Of The Year. At the very end of the night as things were wrapping up just around 1 AM. He came over greeted, asked our names how we enjoyed ourselves then thanked each of us by name & shook hands. You could tell it was not only something he wanted but loved doing, Bangerang Robin, See you in Neverland. Will always miss this wonderful man. The world is a little less funny & colder without him.
9 years. 20 times a year Still musa that legend. And feel free of pain everytime I Watch and ear this vídeo. Thanks for whoever made this. Amazing feeling. Love all those movies. Real art
What a masterwork. This tribute captures the spirit of Robin Williams perfectly. Great job. Great song choice too. Closing Of The Year is such a beautiful song.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Although, I don't know why there weren't any clips for other memorable movies he starred in like "Night at the Museum", "Happy Feet", "Robots", or "Aladdin". Especially that one, Genie was his most famous role of all.
R.I.P Robin Williams it feels like the world lost a family member you made millions of people laugh and cry of happiness and you gave so much joy Thought stand-up comedy and film everyone has their favourite Thank you Robin Williams fore so Meany great memories and funny moments on T.V I never realised that in Aladdin Robin Williams ad-libbed a lot of that move what an incredible man and actor you gave so much to so many. Hopefully, you are at peace now the Genie is finally free.
Robin Williams in his work truly defines humanity. That there is more than just the mundanities and strictness to life. He showed us the importance of our inner child, to be creative, love, caring for others, it being okay to be sad, and how to find happiness. He showed us that we're not just parts of a collective, to grow old, work, pay taxes and die, but that we are individuals with hopes and dreams. We are human and he in his work is what humanity should be defined as.
This *_TOYS_* themed music video is perhaps the most fitting video for Williams- most of the toys featured are very retro, even by very early 90's standards. even when the movie came out- video games already had taken over as the ultimate toy, because it provides half the experiences for boys and girls to be the 'good guys'- always doing whats right and everything wrong in the world can be ended, to be made good again! -the architype of innocence. Williams wasn't innocently minded. He had to of known that- but he obviously tried very hard to rebirth that mentality, especially when he began fatherhood. Rest In Peace, Genie.😔🙁☹️😕😟😅😂😭😰😥😕🙄😭😂😅😔
This tribute brought tears to my eyes. You never know what someone is going through. Robin Williams was a man who wanted nothing but to make everybody else happy. But while he was making everyone else smile, he himself was suffering in deep depression. Robin Williams was an impact to everyone who sat down and watched his movies.
Oh Robin,if only you knew how many lives you touched, and we sure would have talked you out of your sad sad decision. May Father have mercy on your soul,I'd VERY much would love to see you in heaven. Love you Robin. RIP brother. 😢😭❤🙏
There will never be any actor like robin williams I suffer from depression from loosing my children it's hard to keep going I love his movies and I grew up watching mork r.i.p. I know you are making god laugh
😢 I just rewatched Toys recently for the first time in 30 years. This song has been playing ever since. I love this tribute. Great job. I'm going to write a tribute to him on his 10th angelversary next year and would love to reference your video.
#2YearsWithoutRobinWilliams Today. We miss you so much Robin. If in the World there were 7 billion Robin Williams there would be no more violence, no more wars , and they most like. Protect us and bless us from Heaven. Bye Robin...
100% I watched "The Spy who Loved Me" a few days after Roger Moore's death, the Bond fans will never forget that man and what he brought. Same with all of Robin Williams' films
a MAN of his Heart.........Wisdom........and Blessings deserves to be heard by people that can make a difference..........and raise his words of wisdom..........up to the sky.......to cloud 9......to where the SUN DO SHINE!!!! He worked hard for that..........and we all owe that........to him! One amazing man............has influenced a Universe! IN THE BEST WAY!
if not..............the greatest most brilliant shining star teacher of all time............has taken the heart beat of others.........and combined it with his good heart............and created a vibration for the world to share.....if you dare to let it in!
Haven't seen Toys since it was in theaters, haven't heard this song in years, watching Williams like this I'm feeling like I'm having a stoke. The right side of my face has the biggest smile and the left side is splashing tears all over my desk. I think he would approve of your tribute, I say well done.
This is a wonderful tribute to Robin, he was such a wonderful, kind, loving gentleman. He helped so many people in so many ways. People all over the world loved Robin,he brought so many things to people joy happiness laughter and a great deal of sorrow especially when we found out how he suffered. God bless you wonderful beautiful angel hope you're flying high now Robin love forever sir. Xxxxxx
You did an AWSOME job with this. I LOVE how at the beginning he is shown entering. as if entering life. then all the in between, is the joy he brought others during his all to brief stay , and then at the end it shows him exiting as his passing had him exit out of this life. Fortunatly we have the movies and therefore the memories of his wonderful gifts.
Kitty Flower yes it's perfect. Reminds me of the collage I made of my brother who passed. I put pictures of him with the sky at the top, and pictures showing the ground at the bottom.
jprincessw1 im soo sorry for your loss. But take comfort in the memories you had the good fortune to share with him, and know that he is waiting for you on the other side of the veil.
Incredible. Simply incredible. Truly, we have lost one of the most irreplaceable people in our society today. Without humor, without LAUGHTER, one is not truly living.
I love the ending, I just love that you didn't put 2014 for his closing year. Truly, he's alive in his movies and our hearts. An amazing man like him will never die for his wonderful and unforgettable legacy will live on for many generations to come. Overall, this tribute is so beautiful and perfect.
There is art, and then there is this. The most perfect combination of Robins acting ability, and a truly emotional song. Surpasses every music video of all time. It is its beauty and heart that brings hope and memory to everyone. And the final tribute moment is perfect. He, like all great moments, can never pass. In a word, beautiful.
It's taken me almost 4 months for Robin Williams' death to truly sink in. Now I have this urge to watch "Toys"...a movie I haven't thought about since roughly 1993. This is a great tribute to the man! RIP Robin...I hope that, wherever you are, you are finally at peace.
This tribute to robin Williams has really touched my heart that I can’t stop watching it this song really was a part of him in my point of view and all the laughter and joy he brought to all of us makes me wish that he’d still be alive I miss robin he was my favorite actor of all time and my greatest inspiration in life I hope I get to meet him in heaven love this tribute to robin Williams forever 😊❤️🙏
In every respect, the most beautiful tribute I have ever seen. I love cinema and In my darkest days he pulled me through. One day we will all met him. Until then Robin, Merry Christmas.
This was to beautiful for words. I just had a very ugly cry watching this. If it wasn't for Robin i would not be here right now. The mid i90s were a very dark time For me as an adolescent boy dealing with divorce. I had...thoughts. But then i saw this movie TOYS. This movie and especially this song saved me by pulling me back from the precipice from which there is no coming back. I have ever since tried to keep this message in my heart and to spread it to those i see that need it the most. He was there for us in our times of most need. Being there for others in their times of need is the least we can do. May the bells ring out for you Robin at the closing of your years. You will forever be in our 💕hearts💕 I love you.
Lovely tribute to an amazing man who brought such laughter and joy to so many people for so many years. "The Closing of the Year" is a perfect song for this tribute, because Williams himself, like his character Leslie Zevo in 'Toys,' was a true champion of innocence and wonder, whose films help all of us embittered adults feel a little like a child again. I've never mourned a deceased celebrity (Even some whose deaths have been possibly even more tragic and untimely, such as Anton Yelchin) as much as I've mourned him. Interesting little story to finish: I remember that, less than an hour before I learned of Williams's death, I learned of the birth of my best friend's first- born son. That dear little boy is now an honorary nephew to me, and while as a Christian I don't believe in reincarnation, I think I can see a tiny little trace of Williams's spirit in him. That smile, that sense of wonder that Robin Williams had, HE now has.
He was the king of family friendly special effects movies. And, a lot of those movies had one word titles like: Popeye, Hook, Aladdin, Toys, Jumanji, Jack, and Flubber.
I love this tribute to Robin Williams it's still hard for me to accept this beautiful and funny man is gone. But his legacy will surely live on through his films and that does bring me comfort. Rest in paradise Robin I love you.
I have lost count of how many times I have watched your video, I have seen many others but they aren't as good as yours. It captures the best of Robin Williams perfectly, I will never forget him as will millions of others who loved him and his work. Thank you for making this video it is a great tribute to a wonderful man gone too soon but never forgotten.

Toys and Good Will Hunting are my favourite Robin films!
From Wendy and Lisa (played with Prince)
I loved the movie Toys, one of my childhood favorites. Anything that Robin Williams is in is great.
I don't think Toys was a particularly good film, but I agree that this song is terrific and a very underrated Christmas song.

This song just popped into my head tonight really strange glad it brought me here beautiful tribute rest in power robin williams you amazing man!...
God bless you Robin Williams ❤️ you are so missed , you will be eternally a legend ❤️❤️❤️
Toys is a magical movie. It like takes you away to a better world. One of the best movies of the 90s. Rip robin Williams ❤️
Toys was such an underrated movie. It's one of those flicks I caught on TV and was just blown away by how weird and awesome it is.
In every respect, the most beautiful tribute I have ever seen. I love cinema and In my darkest days he pulled me through. One day we will all met him. Until then Robin, Merry Christmas.
Hey, thanks!
Best Williams tribute I've seen thus far. Pity I came across it after Christmas.
You will forever be in our 💕hearts💕
I love you.
Interesting little story to finish:
I remember that, less than an hour before I learned of Williams's death, I learned of the birth of my best friend's first- born son. That dear little boy is now an honorary nephew to me, and while as a Christian I don't believe in reincarnation, I think I can see a tiny little trace of Williams's spirit in him. That smile, that sense of wonder that Robin Williams had, HE now has.
August 2022 and I’m still listening to this song…RIP Robin Williams i will always miss you 😢 ❤️
This movie feels like home
He was the king of family friendly special effects movies. And, a lot of those movies had one word titles like: Popeye, Hook, Aladdin, Toys, Jumanji, Jack, and Flubber.
Never heard this version with the awesome guitar rif towards the end. Awesome song and video.
RIP Robin Williams and Thank You ✊🏾❤️
It's been ten years, how time flies
I really miss you Robin
Rest in peace
I love this tribute to Robin Williams it's still hard for me to accept this beautiful and funny man is gone. But his legacy will surely live on through his films and that does bring me comfort. Rest in paradise Robin I love you.
This was a masterpiece, beautiful editing! Loved the sequence of the opening doors in the beginning and closing doors in the end 😊
So sad brilliant actor and comedian he'll always reminds me of my childhood brings me to tears because of so many laughs thank you Robin.
When he died a part of me died also. God I miss him.
Thank you for doing this for Robin Williams. He was a very special man. He died too young, beloved by many. Thank you.
