      If your chopsticks are wood or bamboo, you should wash by hand anyway. The scouring action of a dishwasher will gradually damage them.

    • @janemiettinen5176
      @janemiettinen5176 6 месяцев назад

      Nothing wooden should go into washing machine anyway; they soak up the detergent and release it in your food, especially in hot temps. Also the machine detergents are way too harsh for wood, they are made for tougher, non porous surfaces like glass and metal.

      @Guillaume2606 I'm not sure about building standards in other places, but in the US a room with a sink and toilet is a "half bath." A room with a sink, toilet and shower is a "three-quarters bath." A room with a sink, toilet, and bathtub or bathtub/shower combination is a "full bath." But they are all referred to as bathrooms.

      They are "free" at my school, which means I have to pay for them. And some of my students are apparently taking advantage of that to...I don't know...build a pencil-based fort in their homes or something, seeing as how I have to give them a new pencil every single class. I ask them what happened to the one I gave them last time (and the time before, and the time before that, etc) and...nothing. Blank faces, every time. It must some kind of top secret wood-based project. I just don't know why I have to subsidize their endeavors.

    Why on earth would women need bigger parking spaces and why would this be a stroke of genius?
    If anything, they should be able to handle smaller ones, as women on average are smaller than men and thus can get out of the car easier even when you cannot open the door fully, even though I realise that would be taking things a bit too far.

    • @bcn1gh7h4wk

      that's for cases where women carry babies around, so they can work strollers or baby seats.
      still doesn't address the real problem, which is *WHY* is the woman all alone, with a baby, in a busy environment!?

    • @madamemontespan9418
      @madamemontespan9418 6 месяцев назад

      Because we women are more likely to bump and scratch cars while parking. And men are more likely to drive too fast and cause an accident.

      In Finland those are marked for families, they are usually next to the handicap slots, near to the ingress. You need more space for strapping kids in their seats, for strollers, you usually need access from both sides of the car, etc. Ive seen heavily pregnant ladies have trouble in really tightly squeezed car parks, so these bigger slots are really welcomed.
      My mom drove rally on national level for years, so I cant subscribe to the clueless lady driver stereotype. Bad drivers come in all forms.
