- You may be planning on visiting Thailand now that they have lifted their COVID-19 travel restrictions. If you’re flying into Bangkok and heading down south you may want to stop for a few days in Hua Hin to break your journey. Here is a three-day itinerary that may help you to have a great time. I have recently published my new venture…The Retire in Thailand Magazine. As the name suggests it is a lifestyle magazine for the young at heart. The magazine is aimed at retirees or future retirees who are looking for more in their retirement than their home countries can offer them. Because I retired to Thailand, the magazine's main focus will be on Thailand, although every month the magazine will feature other great retirement locations from around the world. Every month the magazine will recap the top stories and events that happened in Thailand the previous month as well as any news that will impact expat retirees who live or plan to live in Thailand. The magazine will also detail Thai currency fluctuations for the previous month with other Western currencies, cost of living comparisons between Thailand and other Western countries, weather charts for the coming months, Buddhist holidays or festivals for that month, ex-pat interviews, Thai cooking recipes and much more. The magazine will be available through my new website for just $2.99 or a yearly subscription of $24.00 which is a massive 30% saving. My books will also be available to buy through my website discounted from the online stores where the books are also on sale. So, follow the link to the website and take a look around.

@@dave_a81 Hi Dave. I am not sure if I have asked you previously in each edition of my magazine I do an interview with an expat who is planning on retiring to Thailand at a later date for my overseas expat of the month interview. If you would like to be the overseas expat of the month in a future edition of the magazine please let me know by emailing me at my website email address below: retireinthailandmagazine@outlook.com
I will then send you the Q and As to fill in and return with a photo of yourself but if you don't want your photo in the magazine that's ok. Also if you don't want to be in the magazine that's fine as I know many people value their privacy.
Cheers

Thank you sir. I will be visiting Hua Hin in February & hoping to retire to Hua Hin in 2 years time.
@@anthonyc92107 Hi Anthony. Hua Hin is a great place to live and has the best weather in Thailand with not much of a wet season. Though not as tropical as down south it's in the centre of Thailand so it's easier to visit other areas. Unfortunately I have stopped doing RUclips and I have started the Retire in Thailand Magazine instead. I have put a link below to my website.
Safe travels
Cheers

Morning from the Boro Ged . Great varied video and bookmarked for the future 🙏 Cheers Ged thank you
@@stephengale1692 Good afternoon from Hua Hin Stephen. I hope that you are well. I see the UK is having the same problem as Thailand with flooding. Though not in Hua Hin it's more up north and down south in Phuket. Pratchuap Khiri Khan always seems to avoid the extreme weather which is another great reason to live here.I am not sure if I asked you if you want to be in my magazine as the overseas expat of the month interview. If you want to let me know and I can send you the Q and As. If not that's fine as I know many people prefer their privacy
Cheers

@@thailandmyland...retiringd2351 Hi Ged , yes I researched the weather annually in PKK before coming and was happy to find out that it has the least rain and most sun than anywhere in thailand , so a huge plus . No Ged you never asked me about the overseas interview for your Magazine but yes I would be delighted to take part . What would the format be about generally , and how would it be arranged ? Cheers Steve
@@stephengale1692 Hi Stephen. As you may know, I started an online magazine on the first of August dedicated to retirees who have already retired or are considering retiring in Thailand. Each month I will interview an expat who is currently living overseas with intentions to one day live in Thailand to find out why they are thinking of retiring to Thailand in the future. If you would like to participate, I will send you a set of questions for you to fill in and email back to me along with a photo of yourself, if you prefer not to have a photo that’s ok too. The questions are quite straightforward but if there were any questions that you didn’t want to answer you can just skip those. If you decide to go ahead best if you can contact me through my website email address below if you want to be interviewed. I will send you a link to the magazine once it's published so that you can download it to read and show your friends and family. I have also attached a link to my new website.
Cheers Ged
