@atoc.8pawns ATM fees can be high. Luckily things here are cheap so you carry thousands of baht, which isn't a lot. There's a link in the description for Wise. It's an easy way to transfer money internationally and they have a debit card you can use here. There are also a number of bank/brokerage accounts that will reimburse your ATM fees. Check into those in your home country. It may be worth it to open an account at one of them for your travel expenses.
Hey good video - Ive done the bus, mini van and car/taxi. Bus is pretty good. I think last departure time is like 6.00pm so it doesn't always work out with my 4.30 arrival flight from Sydney. Means I need to get a taxi or stay in BKK overnight and then head down in the morning. Good tip on the B1000 - that's where everyone changes their larger notes. I always go to Ban Khun Por with friends cheap and good food, also cheap beer (usually Chang) delivered to your table.
Yet to visit Hua Hin after (in fits and starts) 17+ years of visiting Thailand. I think the next visit will include at least 2 weeks there. I must add that I hear that accomodation is good value tgere, however I wasn't entirely enthralled with your apartment @ $25 a night. Or unless there was a pool on site as well? Looking forward to your next upload.
The bus is probably easier, but you can also get a train on the new train route, just get the airport train link and transfer to the brand new train station Bang Sue in Bangkok, very cheap as well
Thanks for the guidance on the website, I thought I was looking at the wrong one when doing research last week for upcoming trip. The price to get this bus is very reasonable as you say which opens up my travel options greatly. Great resource at the website: From Suvarnabhumi airport to Hua Hin 325 Pattaya to Hua Hin 473 Beats the taxi price - (even though that is door to door) - I have loads of time now so no biggie!
Another Great Video, and thanks for all of the Pro Tips, as they are Very Informative! Does the Bus have a bathroom on it, like Greyhound buses in the US??
btw they sell tourist simcards at the 7-11 too , 30 days somwat unlimited data (slows down after passing an amount of gb , not quite sure wat it was and unlimited phone and message ) be a good item to break up that 1000 baht bill sumting i heared from another youtuber : they dont allow food to be brought intoo the bus (though you might be able to sneak in some drinks and candy if youre not too obvious about it ) , just in case you dont have a lot of time before the bus leaves , order little , eat fast , or wait untill youre in hua hin hmmm didnt knew about the aviation museum at the airport , going to check that out next time im there verry usefull video , learned a lot of interesting stuff , thank you for making it
He I wonder if you can give a link to by the bus ticket And the mobile link for WiFi/surf Sorry for my English am from Sweden 😁 Maybe I should go to Huahin next year Never been there We always go by airplane from airport, when we land in Bangkok Have earlier gone to Koh Samui, Krabi and Phuket But I think it’s nice to see some more of Thailand
Hello 👋🏻 thanks for the Info about the bus, I have been there before by train, nice and authentic experience 😂 what is the name of the accommodation ? Is it a condo ? Thanks
The driver's assistant shouted "Cha Am" but the bus didn't even slow down. Maybe others who've ridden more often can say for sure. Little help here RTA viewers?
The bus to Pattaya is only about B146 or 190 to Jomtien. They're a bit of a hoodwink to Pattaya, as they drop off at the beginning of Pattaya Klang, which involves a motorcycle taxi to central Pattaya (B50-80ish) So go to Jomtien and get back to Pattaya via two baht buses maximum. I've tried waiting for baht buses after the initial drop off point, but I think they don't exist or have a long turnaround time.
Great video, well organized and well spoken. Glad to have found your channel and look forward to many more.
Awesome, thank you!
StepByStep nature makes this video a standout for 1st time expat. Thanks.
Thanks. I'm a simple guy. 😂
Let's hope he keeps going. I heard ATM fees are crazy. So, newbies have to carry thousands in cash.

There is a small pool there but I didn't show it. I'm planning a longer video about the building to include their monthly & yearly rates
Nice video clips and good tips, how about from BKK DMK airport to Hua Yin, is there any similar schedule bus to Hua Yin, as Suvarnabhumi airport. thks
Haven't tried from DMK. You'll have to Google it.
Great video

no one tell the bus driver to put down the air con if it s too cold ? so crazy to hear that every time...

Hello 👋🏻 thanks for the Info about the bus, I have been there before by train, nice and authentic experience 😂 what is the name of the accommodation ? Is it a condo ? Thanks
Maleesa Place. Not a condo. It's a serviced apartment.
@@RetiringToAsia thank you very very much for the answer 🙏🏻
Does that bus also drop off at Cha Am? Thanks
The driver's assistant shouted "Cha Am" but the bus didn't even slow down. Maybe others who've ridden more often can say for sure. Little help here RTA viewers?
What's your favorite activity in Hua Hin?
How much is the bus ticket from Pattaya to Hua Hin ?
325 but as I mentioned, there's a small additional fee for booking online.
@@RetiringToAsia Thank you for your response. I must have missed that part. I'll watch it again. Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work. 👍
