Hua Hin IMO is a great place to retire. Maybe not the best for party people, but plenty of other activities for those that prefer a more moderate party lifestyle. I’ve lived here for two years after 6 months living in Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is nice but I prefer Hua Hin.

Love your content! Would love to see bigger units with 2-3 bedrooms and a minimum of 90+ sq meters. Not all of us are looking for the absolute cheapest and therefore smallest condos. 😊
I’ve been thinking about renting a second condo. Maybe some to keep all year round, or maybe just something for a few months at a time. Right now, I’m at the beach in Wongamat, in the Naklua area of Pattaya. I have everything I need here, so the second condo would just be for a change of scenery now and then.
I've stayed in that condo via AirBnB. Facilities blow, but rooms good size and location good. Helpful juristic office. It's full of holidaymakers, but wasn't noisy during my time there.
I think it is really nice - like the lounge area with tv. I normally stay at La Casita but the pool/s look much better and are better suited to adult swimmers.
I was going to go to Hua Hin to try early retirement. My friend had me try the Philippines. I've been in Cebu and Manila...outside of the "bubble" areas it is terrible. Not clean and so much pollution. I am heading to Hua Hin in a week. I should have followed my first instinct
Nice large condo and clean, but 15k, I would be expecting a nice one bedroom for that money. Not keen on the fact that she is happy to rent daily or weekly if I was to be there for long term, too much coming and going with the attendant noise/lack of respect for others that this seems to bring with it. Well stocked kitchen area though! 😊
@@andrewoakley4957 after looking at what they are charging on Airbnb for studios in huahin 15k baht seems like a steal to me. The prices on Airbnb right now are absurd and not much better than bangkok - for a place in central huahin for a decent place we are talking 700 - 1200 USD! So you have any good suggestions for less expensive places in huahin? How do you rent off of Airbnb? Can you just walk into a place and say you want to rent for a month?
I stayted there for the month of June, you should have mentioned things about the actual location...1 to 2 blocks to the famous night market as well as the wet market opened every day...and you mentioned close to the water...but its only 3 blocks to the main beach entrance.

Seems to be more of a long stay hotel than a condo. I was thinking of staying in Hua Hin for a couple weeks, my next trip to Thailand to see if I could live there when i retire. I've been there once for 3 days and felt it was ok, but thought it might be boring. But I'm willing to go back and stay a bit longer to give it a chance.
Hey there ! Me and the wife are coming to Hua Hin the first of December, and I am looking to rent a condo for six months. If it’s possible I would appreciate if you could help me get in contact with the rental company. 🙏😊
Great question. There are many more short-term rentals available in and around Hua Hin than you will find in other areas like Pattaya. I'd still suggest booking early but you should be able to find something.
