Haha I know right? when she said "..side to side motion, in one direction" I'm a fan of them as well, even tho I'm older, I'm 22 and I laugh everytime the group's name is mentioned in a video :P
Of course, i watched this video because I need to learn. I must put myself through my most premium cursing routines every time I do.my nails. We are already pretty much familiar with the Stages.Of The Manicure. I absolutely needed slowed down and close up footage of the actual application, including dipping the brush, loading it, and brushing the polish against the bottle lip before it hits the nail. And....thats nice that the model's nailz.were.close to perfect at tbe get-go, but I needed to see a trimming and a filing (duh) for nails that need to be taken down. i understand that there is an imperative here to sell.product, but if you're going to do a demo, show us in DETAIL how it is done -- each and every step. Thank you 🏇
At least in California, it is unacceptable to the state licensing board to touch the cuticle remover applicator to the finger. It is now considered contaminated and must be disposed of. The product may be dripped onto the nail and spread with the fingers, or put on a cotton swab or cotton-wrapped orangewood stick and applied to the cuticle. The orangewood stick (or any implement for that matter) may not be dipped into the polish remover. The polish remover is now considered contaminated.
i'm tired of bad manicure , hair cuts, shoe repairs and many other services that I have in US. If you go to Russia, and other countries of former USSR, these services are made PERFECT to people there if compare to US. I know what I'm saying because I tried those services here and there. Why we have such difference? Professionals willing to bring Excellent service to customer in former USSR, but professionals in US doing these services for somehow to get customer back sooner, therefore get money sooner. Poor customers in US, because professionals thinking about money only and not about providing EXCELLENT care.
Same case in South America, they do amazing jobs, in very high quality. In this particular case of manicures, over there they are made so meticulously, they really take their time and do a excellent job, hard to find the same standards here in Europe.
This is a manicure tutorial and yet I'm reading about one direction in the comments? Grow up, girlies, and stop blowing up the comments section with irrelevant banter.
Bear in mind though that this is a tutorial for how to do a manicure at home, so health and safety isn't an issue when you are doing your own nails in your own home.
cut cuticles, or are you talking about ephendicium ? (I know I spelled that wrong) Pushing back cuticles is all you need to do unless they're really bad. The ephyndecium is the skin most mistake for cuticles, and that's what keeps stuff out. ☺
LISTEN UP: In the UK there is a new ban to cosmetics being tested on animals, even if it is, say, L'oreal who are known for testing on animals, if L'oreal want their products in the uk, they have to make sure their products are not tested on animals! EVERYONE IN EUROPE DOES NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANIMAL TESTING BECAUSE OF THIS NEW LAW. Sorry all you other countries, I hope the ban will reach where u are soon!
Apparently Sally Hansen's website claim they are animal cruelty free - but only on their product testing. This doesn't mean they don't test on animals at all. They are also not on any cruelty-free beauty lists, so I won't be buying any of their products!
I don't know where you heard that but 1 Sally Hansen clearly state they dont test on animals on there website and 2 rabbit eyes seem like the worst possible thing to test nail polish on because there wet so it wont stick, its completely unlike a nail bed and you'd need like 100000 rabbits because you'd need a new eye ball for every test. Sounds like a dumb rumor you were just stupid enough to fall for.
Good for you! When I found out that Sally Hansen tests on animals, I refused to buy any more of their products. I hope people will see your comment and make a statement by refusing to buy from their brand.
But you'd still be financially supporting a company that does animal testing. It's the same company, just in a different country, but you're still giving them your money.
This helped me a lot, and I had fun looking at all the Sally Hansen nail products. And do you guys have to make such a big deal about one direction?
i love this one of the best examples i've seen so ease and clear
