😂😂😂 they are not ferrel. We’ve been there. They are raised on that island by a farmer just like any other farmers pig. They get food, water, and even shelter. Tourist feeding them is just extra benefit.
In many parts of the world (in particular, outside Eurasia), pigs are an invasive species. They are remarkably clever, adaptive creatures, and after heedless humans set them loose in non-native environs, pigs devastate their new ecosystem.

@@malaciousmark3903 What happens when certain species of domesticated animals like chickens and pigs escape to live and breed in the wild? You have more than a big mouth , you have a search engine too.
ThE DuCk I don’t have a big mouth I simply stated that a species that are intensely selectively bred for hundreds of years cannot gain back alleles. If you did a google search on how genetics work you would understand that. All livestock animals (pigs, chickens, cattle, sheep, and goats) cannot ever look like their original wild animal. Genes can be lost and changed. Just because you release an animal back into the wild won’t mean that they can gain genes that have been literally bred out of the animal. The only way that can happen is if they crossbred with their wild counterparts. If you compare any domesticated animal with their wild counter part you’d realize that they are basically completely different species. So maybe you should take your advice and look up how genes work bud.

The pigs are not wild you have to pay a tour guide to let the pigs out to swim with you and they give you food to feed the pigs, watch any tourist video to see for yourselves it's really disappointing seeing the pigs being locked up until the next tourist group comes and feeds them. Sure it beats the life of most pigs but it would've been awesome if they were wild like they use to be before it became popular to swim with them now people have caught them and made it all about money 😢😢

They might be in the early stages of evolving into a marine mammal because not just any pigs venture into the water like that. And if they are foraging for seafood that will also speed up the evolutionary process and make them smarter because seafood is rich in the brain building nutrients such as Iodine and natural fatty acids
