The medical community has been overwhelmed with too many patients. long before the pandemic, and most family doctors or nurse practitioners only know basic stuff, meaning half the time they will send you to the wrong specialist, or prescribe the wrong medication, based on a faulty diagnosis.
It’s rare so not surprising that his doctors hadn’t heard about it. There’s constant changes and not a lot of time to keep up when your trying to keep people alive and not be overwhelmed yourself

Nurses don't know anything about cost or insurance reimbursement of care. My daughter was born with Macroglossia 27 years ago. She was so tiny and her tongue was always hanging out of her mouth. It caused issues with her feeding and ultimately led to a failure to thrive (she weighed 12 pounds when she was a year old & was still in newborn diapers). Thanks to months of physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, as well as special infant formula and baby bottles she began to thrive once again. She is now a healthy young woman with a 2 year old daughter of her own. She also served in the U.S. Air Force. I’m so glad that things worked out for this man, and that he had such a talented surgeon and team to get him back to his old self. 😛

There were some people having the same side effect. After receiving the Shot at the hospital. The hospital staff responded immediately to the side effects. Administering Benadryl and some other powerful meds. FYI... This is not a lie. I don't have time to play games. Just because you may not be aware of this. Does not make it a lie. This actually happened that's it that's all. Responding to someone who does not believe this to be true. The patient had to remain in the hospital until the swelling of the tongue had gone down. He had a ventilator in while in a prone position. He was in the ICU for three weeks, he probably had a ventilator in for nearly that entire time. Its trauma for the vent, its not necessarily a COVID side effect as it is one for people that have had to be on ventilators for long periods.

It's fluid. Scrotum swell big too in some men. Just depends on where your body puts the excess fluid it can't pee out! It takes time. They pump so much fluid into people if their pressure drops.

That's definitely not caused by being in a prone position,
He had a ventilator in while in a prone position. He was in the ICU for three weeks, he probably had a ventilator in for nearly that entire time. Its trauma for the vent, its not necessarily a COVID side effect as it is one for people that have had to be on ventilators for long periods.
