Fantastic video. Well done. great editing . Great choice of music. When things go wrong the last thing I'm thinking of is filming it but that's what everyone wants to see..lol... The WAM is my favorite river in all of New England for finding gold.....or maybe it's just because it's the closest to me....lol
Thanks I have been trying to do better editing every episode. It is not easy filming cause you need so much to make a complete video. Sometimes you miss a shot or it doesn’t go as you think it makes it harder to edit. Its also very hard filing by yourself but im definitely trying. I do love the WAM as well you can always find some color plus that whole area is so beautiful.

I'm starting to believe that the sluices with hard plastic surfaces allow the material to bounce better .except the gold it doesn't bounce.
I love my new Fox sluice.

I may have been getting bad air it was kind of windy that day. I’m in the process of putting a snorkel on my air pump. Its never been an issue so who knows
Do you need a permit for even the tiny sluices? I'm talking like the $25 amazon ones that are super tiny
Not for sluice boxes. You do need permission from Twin River campground if that is where you are sluicing
How do you catch the fine flower gold I was out there yesterday and a bunch was escaping
I believe its a lot to do with angle and water flow. That sluice still runs carpet and that is proven to catch gold. Im sure I lose some as well. Try experimenting with angles and flow. When I first started I took bb’s from bird shot and tried different things with those. Hope this helps
