What a lovely life you have! Another lovely hike showing us what a magic place we live in. The water's rusty colour is probably due to iron oxidization, whilst it looks a bit 'sus' it is Ok to cool off in, it's oxidizing bacteria... just don't drink it!!! Oh!, and who is the grandmother with those rust coloured teeth?

Cooks Nose is great, reasonable flat all the way one section bit steep, there is a side track before you get to the closed over with trees section towards the end to the right for a good view.... Flying Fox Pass is a long walk for not much of a view, not the best for little ones. cheers Deb

Unreal thanks deb, not alot on these type of tracks for the kids, I always look for a big pay-off at the end, usually a waterfall will do the trick, an awesome view doesn't really cut it anymore 😥 though we get by if there's lots of wildlife
