7:14 I don't believe it. Not only have you reached the level of my football club, you've even managed to capture my *house*. When I started watching this channel to satisfy my stadium nerdery and learn about all the amazing venues around the world, I never expected to see Prestonfield! Just when I thought I couldn't love the channel more.

It is probably right to call Gala's stand brutalist. However, it was designed by modernist architect Peter Womersley and is a Grade A listed building. So it will probably be there for a while.

A wee bit more context on some of these....
Albion Rovers - unfortunately the covered terrace opposite the main stand has been condemned for many years and is out of use. There's a small new uncovered terrace behind the east goal instead.
Berwick Rangers - Adjoining the ground, just to the east, is the ground of another club, Tweedmouth Rangers. Formed in 2010, they are members of the East of Scotland League Second Division, three tiers below their near neighbours. The Google Earth image is quite out of date and doesn't show their new stands and pavilion.
Broomhill - have yet to play a game at this, their umpteenth home ground in a short history that has taken them from their roots in the west end of Glasgow to Maryhill, Alloa (beyond Stirling, where they were absurdly called BSC Glasgow), Cumbernauld and now Dumbarton. Last season they were known as Open Goal Broomhill as they were sponsored by a podcast of that name, but the guy behind it has switched his allegiances to East Kilbride and it remains to be seen how Broomhill will cope. The pitch at Dumbarton was terrible last season so ground sharing again seems a pretty bad idea.
Caledonian Braves - formerly knows as Edusport Academy and were a training academy from French footballers in Scotland. The name of the ground refers to the Auld Alliance, a long-standing relationship between Scotland and France formed in 1295 against their common enemy - the English.
Cowdenbeath - the record attendance here is over 25,000! Formerly a fairly big club in Scotland, the demise of mining and other heavy industry in Central Fife really harmed the Blue Brazil. They've fallen to this level pretty fast.
Rangers B - withdrew from the Lowland League before it started this season, in a big huff because their proposal (along with Celtic) to create a new league at tier 5 that would have included 6 teams from the Highland and Lowland Leagues and 4 reserve teams who couldn't be promoted or relegated was brutally rejected by the vast majority of clubs and fans. This idea would have effectively relegated over 200 clubs and was a ruse designed to get the reserve teams into the SPFL.
East Kilbride - the images of this ground are a bit out of date, they've built a covered terrace behind one goal since.
Edinburgh University - small and simple, but a wonderful playing surface and you can sit in the pavilion and enjoy tea with fine home baking. Highly recommended.
Gala - that stand is category A listed as "a significant work of late modernist architecture in Scotland" and was designed by a renowned architect, Peter Womersley. Personally I prefer the main stands at Glenrothes and Greenock as examples of 1960s architecture.
Gretna - original Gretna were bought by a local businessman, Brooks Mileson, who bankrolled them all the way to the Scottish Cup Final (which they lost on penalties to Hearts), the Premier League and the UEFA Cup. But it was all falling apart behind the scenes and they folded owing a lot of people money, with Mileson dying soon after. He had a heart attack - his umpteenth, surely a consequence of his diet of chips, coffee, Lucozade and 100 cigarettes a day - fell into the pond in his garden and drowned. It wasn't even the first time a heart attack had caused him to fall into the pond, he'd been rescued before. No fault of the fans, who have done a good job giving the town a team again.
Tranent - another for which the images are a little out of date, they've done loads of good work here recently to improve the ground and facilities.
    👍

I can't fully articulate all the reasons why British lower league football grounds are special within the bounds of a RUclips comments section. It varies according to context, personal experience, and sometimes simply inexplicable.
I was in England and Scotland in April and May of this year. I saw Arsenal's Emirates stadium, Sunderland's Stadium Of Light, Middlesbrough's Riverside, but was more enthralled with passing by Tranent Juniors in Scotland, and going to watch Boreham Wood v Yeovil at Meadow Park in the National League.
