- SCP 914 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as The Clockworks.
SCP 035 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as The Possessive Mask.
SCP-914 is a large clockwork device weighing several tons and covering an area of eighteen square meters, consisting of screw drives, belts, pulleys, gears, springs and other clockwork.
When an object is placed in the Intake Booth, a door slides shut, and a small bell sounds. If the knob is turned to any position and the key wound up, SCP914 will “refine” the object in the booth.
SCP-035 is an anomaly also known as The Possessive Mask. SCP035 appears to be a white porcelain comedy mask, although, at times, it will change to tragedy. In these events, all existing visual records, such as photographs, video footage, even illustrations, of SCP 035 automatically change to reflect its new appearance.

I can't see any way 035 could become so powerful to be able to counter 682's adaptability, or delete 343 so easily, even guessing 914's function.

Whoever keeps writing these completely undermines SCP-343 imo.
Bet they will just go full Disney style and "somehow 999 defeated the mask again". 682 would probably just start absorbing all telekinetic power coming out of the mask and would be able to firstly match it, then as the mask gave it even more fuel - change mask into puddle - then there would be 682 XK scenario. As for 343 - The list is too long on how mask could've been stopped and idea of 343 charging power to defeat mask is just wrong, mask would just cease to exist or return to it's original state quicker than millisecond pulsar rotates.
I agree 343 also being a reality warper it be a greater battle and 682…. Would just turn back to normal and adapt 🤔

Im pretty sure the writer of the clockworks would disagree with this huge of a power up, and im sure 682 wouldnt get this manhandled, when 343 and the gate gaurdian dont even do this much damage.
I feel like whoever wrote this is downplaying 343 so hard. I feel like it could’ve been a stomp on 343’s part.

This video, and the one with it taking over 343 were written by the team behind this channel, not taken from actual scp files.

I think this is what really happened: when the lights went out and 343 disappeared, in reality it was the mask that had been transported into another reality with no one there, not even 343. He thought he'd won, but as he strolled around he realized no one else was there. He realized that he had not defeated God at all- he'd lost.

@@sharpsrain8302 There is no canon and non canon scp's, there's simply scp's that currently exist and are widely accepted. Any scp can be replaced if it becomes unpopular enough, that's how the site works. It's not official as in there isn't some legal entity dedicated to maintaining the rules and continuity of the scp. All tales are made by fans and either accepted or rejected by fans, no one tale is more canon than the other despite the fact that most contradict each other in irreconcilable ways.

1. Isn't this story basically the same as "What if SCP 343 wore SCP 035?" story? Both stories are just 035 becoming a powerful reality bender, causes an XK-class end of the world scenario and there's no good ending
2. To fix the crisis in both of those stories, just pull a SCP 5000 and reset the world. Also, if you need the Exclusion Harness, just use 914 to fix it. This could fix pretty much any XK-class scenario if SCP 2000 won't work. There are other failsafes I can think of that could resolve any XK-class scenario where a reality bender goes rogue, but the 5000 method is usually the go to
3. There's no way 914 would make 035 so powerful it could overpower 343. Its never made anything THAT powerful. Even if it could, 343 isn't the only SCP that could stand in the way of 035. There's the Sisters, 999, The Deer, a lot of the 001 proposals, and even 1915. If 035 tries to bypass the reality bending powers of 1915, he'll end up triggering another Stars Do Not Wait scenario
This is a "What If" scenario, meaning it's probably just 035 dreaming it would happen when really, it never will.

The story of the SCP Foundation is the story of an infinite multiverse. Infinite realities, infinite possibilities. This has probably already happened who knows how many times. In some versions it turns out just like this. In some versions 343 takes the mask down. Hell, I’m willing to bet there’s a universe out there where they take a seat and just have a pleasant chat over some ice cream cake. That’s one reason why I love these SCP Explained videos. Literally anything can happen.

Alternative Ending (In my opinion the most realistic ending):
As 035 laugh at how he turned the great beast known as 682 into some small reptile he immediately turn his back on the SCP and walk away. But right after he took his eyes off of 682 without caring, he suddenly felt a huge amount pain coming from right leg. Without a moment to respond and see what could’ve done this he was immediately thrown against the wall with such force he didn’t realize he lose a limb. As 035 scream in pain from the lost of his right leg, he then realize who his attacker was none other than Indestructible Reptile. In rage that 682 would dare attack him, he then decided to turn 682 into the size of a molecule, but as 035 snaps his fingers, nothing happen, 035 both in shock and rage that nothing happen attempts to continue believing that he could still win this fight, but in the end it was pointless, 682 roar and charge right at 035 tearing the mask’s new body limb from limb leaving 035 as nothing but as it started out as, nothing but a mask. As 682 approach the mask, 035 beg and attempt to persuade 682 into not destroying it. “Wait don’t, we could work together and build a new world, a world where only you shall reign!” And in response to the begging for life, 682 laugh. 682 was laughing due to the fact that 035 was so cocky when he believes he was on the upper hand, but now with nothing to help him he is begging like the disgusting creature he is. 682 then immediately slams his hand on the mask crushing it. 5 hours of 682 breach and his re-containment , MTF units scout the foundation for any left over SCPs and then they have found 035, or what was left of the few broken pieces of the possessive mask. 035 was classified as terminated.
I agree with this as scp 682 has survived reality warping before for example when the foundation tried to erase it by dropping it in the reality erasing area in Russia and it just came back a few hours later good as new
And also let's be honest no matter how strong 035 may have become it couldn't overpower 343 AKA GOD HIMSELF

And that is why the Special Containment Procedures for SCP-035 state very clearly:
No fewer than two (2) armed guards are to be posted at any time. Guards must remain outside at all times and are not allowed within the containment room under any circumstances.
And even so, those guards have to be rotated with other guards every so often (a month i think) and undergo psichologic evaluation.
Gotta change the procedure from once a month to twice a month for the guards sake

The story in itself is good as a stand-alone. And it's clearly intending to be this.
However, the Mask turning powerful enough to erase 343 from existence, permanently incapacitate 682, and destroying Bright's amulet is just absurd.
But in itself, not a bad story. Just a little odd inside the SCP universe, even if it's non-canonical

Highly doubt an upgrade to 035 through 914 would make it powerful enough to delete 343 from existence or even do half the things it does in this video.
The most that would happen would be a massive improvement to mind based attacks and no body corruption and potentially faster healing and regeneration of lost limbs, but nothing to the strength of 343

I love the videos but I think they make the mask more powerful than it’d actually be. I really don’t see how it’d affect 343 by wearing it or how it’d be able to kill him or how it’d be able to affect 682’s ability when he’s come back from literally being erased. I get it was upgraded by clockworks but still.

I think they wrote themselves into a corner. I can't think of an satisfying way they could end the story. If God himself can't kill it, then all that's left is for it to continue killing and destroying anyone it wants, which is the ending we already have. Short of something like time travel, which would undo the whole story and feel unsatisfying, I don't see how it could even be challenged.

Turning 682 human would've been a fate worse than anything it has been through so far
682 can adapt to anything and can do it fast:Will probably self evolve himself to original state. 173 was shown to be able to put himself back together when not watched:Will prob do what I just said. 096 bones couldn't be broken by gods and can regenerate even his brain:Will prob just regent again and enraged because 035 saw his face. 049 was shown to survive a 106 attack(which is usually impossible unless u have a regenerating ability):Being turned into a crow prob won't do much.
049 lost his arm against 106, and there was no indication that he could grow it back. I don't think he has any regeneration. He is one of the more killable anomalies
I think 049 probably used his super doctor skills to get a new arm for A unfortunate d class or stabbed him self with a super doctor syringe Which made his arm grow back (in real life a scientist has managed to regrow a fingertip using axolotl DNA)

914 would never create anything for 035, Also 914 cannot change the mass of the materials put in it. The most likely scenario is that 035 would end up looking nicer with a more complex design. Also even when set to "Very Fine" it could end up reducing the thing to pebbles as a way of making it "Better".
So what I'm getting here is..
914 can evolve anything into an XK scenario
For my ideas of containing 035, I recommend using Scranton Reality Anchors to prevent any reality warping, the wearing of helmets made of the telekill alloy to prevent it from getting in peoples' heads, and perhaps even making blades from telekill for combating 035. Not to mention the most powerful guns you can possibly get your hands on. Then stick it (the mask itself, once separated from the body) in a box like usual, except the box is not just glass framed with any ordinary metal, but framed with telekill to keep it from manipulating anyone ever again.

The clock works are way too powerful if they could just turn a mask that could semi-control someone's mind to a being strong enough to counter 682's adaptability and defeat 343 power

New Description: After managing to put itself through very fine on SCP-914, it became a being so powerful that nothing could stand in its way, it visited SCP-682 and defeated the reptile with ease, managed to erase SCP-343 as self defense, Neutralized SCP-173 and SCP-096, killed Dr Jack Bright by melting SCP-963 in its own hands. It then escaped the site and currently is doing what it wants to suit its needs.

Alaggada I’m surprised to see 035 gaining this much power. Maybe it’s his original power for when he was the black lord. It would be cool to see him try to return from his banishment and back to Alagadda. After all the desire camera did reveal him to be sitting on the throne with the other lords dead on the ground.

@@harrisevans1059 From what I can gather alaggada is pocket dimension to a realm of the most power full reality warpers and is ruled by The hanged king. If you haven’t heard about the hanged kings tragedy I suggest you go watch it but basically after the king got his vengeance he was chained to his throne to suffer. His kingdom of alaggada was left to be ruled by his four lords the red lord, the orange lord, the white lord, and the black lord. He also had an ambassador who acts as the protector and the voice for the king. From what I heard there was some sort of political struggle within the kingdom and the black lord was framed and was banished from his home into an alternate back watered world aka Earth. The black lord lost his form and was reduced down to the white mask we know as Scp 035. I am not sure if that’s 100% accurate but it’s what I heard about 035s backstory.

The only I don't understand is why SCP-343 is always near powerless in these videos. I mean, I get that a literally boundless entity of infinite power and reality rending ability who could simply stop any bad anomaly with a mere thought is kind of boring, but still. He seems a little easy to stop considering he is literally god, or at least allegedly. Not a criticism, though. These videos are absolutely amazing and always super entertaining, just my opinion.

The scp 343 we see is probably just a avatar of the real 343 used to interact with the physical world, most likely just holding a fraction of the power the true scp 343 holds, after all 343 is a kind entity and for it to hold so much power for a avatar who’s supposed purpose is just to observe his own creation would seem very excessive, unlike 035 who in this case has no problem using power enough to accidentally kill thousands ( well for him it would be a happy surprise rather then an accident) . To give an example i’d say compare 343 to a doctor, the world to his patient, and his avatar as a scalpel, 343 could bring out a giant saw to kill the patient but thats not what he is trying to achieve, on the other hand very fine 035 would be a deranged murderer barging into the room with a giant saw tossing away 343’s scalpel (his avatar) and then sawing in half the patient (the world).
