It’s better now that they have a fourth member, but the music is so layered you’d realistically need like 8 people up there (mostly girls preferably) with synthesizers and backing vocal mics in order to replicate everything that’s going on with no backing tracks. It’s not really financially viable unless they get ridiculously huge. I’ve seen clips from the very beginning of this tour where they didn’t even have a drummer yet, so they’re definitely adding people as they can afford to.
How are they not better known? They are brilliant.
These guys always make me feel happy when I listen to them. I like a lot of different music but they stand out. Love them.
