Thanks, this is really helpful. I'm about 75% through 3D printing my own costume from an Etsy purchase. Sadly, the package I bought doesn't include any instructions for making it all wearable, nor does it include details about the neck seal and other 'soft' parts. I really appreciate this detailed tutorial, thanks so much.
Thanks, Stuart. I had a troop the following day so this seemed like a perfect opportunity to kit up and film. :-) Good thing is, at a troop you usually have a few more troopers that can assist, if required. That can be handy. 👍🏻☺️
Yeah, I fear that a little, too. Next week I will have my second ever troop, but without my daughter who knows my Boba Fett kit in and out. I have to rely on my fellow Mercs, who already said they are more than willing to help me. As I did some technical things a bit differently than what is the norm there, I hope I can get everything on. I try to put on the majority myself, but the jetpack is where I am lost.
Love the updated video. Planning to print a TK helmet. Is it correct to assume that a TK helmet is too big if you don't "twist" the helmet as you put it on?
Many thanks, Jeffrey. TBH, I’m not sure with 3D printed helmets. I’ve only ever stayed with vac formed ABS helmets for original trilogy helmets. With the ones I’ve built, you’re correct that they should go on at an angle due to the size and shape of the originals. Have you found a good 3D file/model? I’m yet to find the one but would be interested to see when/if one becomes available. :-)
This is really informative and well laid out! Great work! Who's the maker of this kit? It looks a bit different than the one I've traditionally seen you in.
Thank you, Ian. Much appreciated. ☺️🙏 This is my Troopermaster kit. Most of my previous videos are with an RWA suit. I went super accurate with this one. ☺️
Hey Flashy. Many thanks. ☺️🙏 Mine was purchased a few years ago, but was a GearX undersuit from EBay. Around £30GBP. I cannot see exactly the same one but you should find a few similar on eBay. If not, I hear that local sports shops also sell them sometimes - brands like Sondico. 👍🏻
Very useful video, thank you! May I ask, is there a video (or maybe will be one) where you go in depth with how to put velcro, poppers and split rivets on the armor? Thanks again for the great work as usual
Hi Ameelus. Thanks for your lovely feedback. ☺️👍🏻 I don’t have any plans for those videos at the moment, I’m afraid. The armour in the video uses the bracket system, rather than poppers etc. But, I’d highly recommend my friend Ross, maker of RWA Armour. He’s done full videos on the poppers and rivets, etc. Here’s a good place to start: ruclips.net/video/PyFGMPx-gIU/видео.html
Really cool! I m looking for the same stormtrooper armor. Could u tell me where did you buy it? RS props ? And for the microphone? You made or bougth it? Thanks guy!
Hi Fabien, Thank you for the lovely feedback. This armour is from Troopermaster. Depending on your budget, I’d also consider looking at RS Prop Masters and RWA Creations. The voice system is from TRamp (trooper amp). I talk about it more in this video. :-) ruclips.net/video/tTLJ41odu9I/видео.html

Great video Dan!👍
Many thanks. I appreciate you watching and your positive feedback. Really pleased you enjoyed it. :-)
Thank you for this Dan. It's great to see all the steps, especially as acidents do happen and the kit isn't cheap.
No worries, Del. Really pleased you enjoyed it. :-)
Excellent video, very professional and well presented. Thank you. MJ
Many thanks, MJ. I really appreciate your feedback. :-)
Great video Dan, it seems daunting enough kitting up at home never mind having to do it before an actual event!

@@cableguydan oh ok,yeah good idea! Yes I can imagine it's much easier having others around to assist.

@@cableguydan One question, do you know where I can get the speaker you have in the video?
Hiya. Yes, sure. They are Arendal Sound speakers. They sell direct. Brilliant speakers. :-)

@@cableguydan just last question : is it a hero Helmet or stunt ? What is your recommandation? Thanks!
Hi Fabien. The one in this video is a Stunt helmet. Personally, that’s my favourite as it’s the main ones we see at the beginning of A New Hope. ☺️👍
@@cableguydan thanks ! (Again)
Is that your own armor ?
Rip trooper. 😥
