It amazes me how well those dogs understand their job.
You can tell Brute is the best trained one. He barely needs to take any cues. He knows that when his master calls him out his job is to get those cows into the trailer. Very smart dog and I love that he is not afraid to put those cows in their place.
Brute is a BEAST!! He’s like, “Watch this…”.
My Great Aunt had a Corgi that was visiting us in N.J. ( in the 1970s...when Southern Jersey had farms) and our neighbor's two horses roamed into our front yard area overnight. She said, "Watch This" and the Corgi instinctually herded them back to the neighbor's corral. BRILLIANT
I really like watching good cattle dogs work. It's not always easy to load cattle when you have a limited amount of space. Good dogs make it a lot easier. Yours are awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Never saw anybody have that much trouble loading cattle. Invest in a bigger trailer and some fence panels to funnel them into the trailer. Lot less stress to the cattle and less risk of injury to the dogs.
let these cows be free, imagine if u would be the cow knowing that u would painfully die next day
@@nyzer1620 First off. The cows have no idea what may happen to them. They are not going to be killed the next day. Usually they end up in feed lots for a couple of months and given lots of food to fatten up.
Cruelty would be turning these cows loose to fend for themselves. Almost all would be dead within days from exposure, accidents, or predators.
These are not wild creatures. Would you think someone did you a favour if they dropped you off in the wilderness to fend for yourself?
These cows spent 2 years or more never worrying about food, water or shelter. Some animals' life span is one day, so cows aren't doing too bad.
If not for the beef industry, these cows would never have existed.
@@bigskye606 maybe these cows but first off all the world especialy americans feed them with chemical shit (i dont know the word in English) that is unhealthy for them and it just maked them fatter and fatter so they are more ,,worth"
And even if these cows in the video lived ,,good" in ur opinion there another cows which lived like this too, BUT its just a small amount who lived well my friend 😔
pretty sure the most cows at least 80 % live like this cause the people dont have heart and dont care how the other beeings are doing who feels the exact same physical pain like you
ruclips.net/video/CKeE_SPSbio/видео.html
and the most live even worse than this watch videos how the cows live in another asian countries or even in ur own country my friend
and i lived and worked in a farm/village in Serbia for more than a decade and i saw it by myself 😔
its just a small amount of the animals who live compared to the other ones who suffer so much 😔🦞
Nyzer1 you obviously have never even seen a cow real live. Are you vegan or what? I have never known anyone who feeds their cows chemicals. And I know a lot of ranchers. I am a rancher myself
Will gladly turn them out so the keyboard experts can show us how its done
With our dogs we use whistles and each dog has their own set of whistle commands so I can have a herd fully surrounded and use each dog individually. Great dogs here though! Beautiful!
That sounds awesome, would love to see a video of that if you ever record and post it.
yeah in new zealand musters we have about 7 dogs each and all dogs have different whistles
Brute is an absolute stud. All the dogs did their jobs well.
I love watching these kinds of videos but sometimes I think, ‘Just go in the dang trailer! It’s right there!’
*Protective mama’s plus tenacious dogs=Surprisingly fascinating and I cannot stop watching these dogs work...* 🤷🏻♀️
"Push em' out" = Push on forwards
"Waayyyy" = Run round and catch that ESCAPEE"
"THERE" = Hold the F*@k up
"Come By" = Come By
"Walk Up" = They're in good position... Steadily push forward
"GETTA Hooold of her" = Violence warranted
ur stupid on some of them
"Goood booy" = Good Boy
That's top notch training and an spectacular example of dogs being used for what they were bred for... Ur dog isn't just your "pet" it was designed for a real purpose....
Border collies were bred for SHEEP herding. This INBRED human should be using CATTLE dogs for his CATTLE.
Hell, just ONE well trained blue heeler could've handled this better, without getting hurt.
I hope this dumb jerk's dogs turn on him and rip his face off someday.
Tip of the hat to you....well trained and committed dogs..dogs with jobs, how its meant to be..giddyup..my great grandad used rough collies to herd his sheep, still have fond memories of those days, even though I was young...thanks for sharing the vids..👍
I have a Border Collie which is a service dog. I am amazed how smart and well mannered these dogs are. If only some children were this intelligent!
If you have never loaded cattle or have all the money to make a loading area, keep your comments to yourself. These are well trained working dogs doing their job and quite well honestly. Tell you what, go load some cows yourself and see how it goes if you have negative comments to post. I promise you this cattle rancher has made the decision to use these dogs for what they are bred for. The training is amazing and he adds to his bottom line with not getting fancy. Just my opinion in the farming community dealing with dogs and the fancy stuff. Nothing wrong with working dogs who enjoy their job.
My dad loved Australian Shepard and then got a Red Heeler, he passed from ALS, this video just made my day, love the collies but the one that got right in there and heeled was a reminder of how awesome working dogs and farm life really is and I am proud to be a farmers daughter!
Brute is my hands down all time favorite. A few mins in I knew they were gonna have to bring in brute ha
If I didn't know better, I'd think those dogs were having fun. :) Smart and fearless they are and that's no joke. Reminds me of reading Old Yeller as a child, and how he talked about Yeller grabbing the heifer by the nose as she charged and causing her to flip over. Watching this, I believe it could be done.
They know what means to get into the trailer...and try all they can to.avoid the smell of their fate. Great job from the herder and his courageous dogs .
I love watching dogs work
Farmer hiding between a fence with an electric stick and the dogs can do all the hard work, what a hero !
You sir are a dumbass
13:49 cattles like damn can you give me a sec to get situated 😂😭
Herding shepherds are an absolutely amazing piece of work.
J a o it's justi
Don’t ever confuse border collie with shepherds again. Shepherds have never been on their level and especially not today.
"Get a hold of her".......I LOVE WHEN YOU SAY THAT!!
I love these videos. Thank you. We had a border collie when I was real young. Francis. She would nip at and attempt to block my dad from putting us in the truck when he was drunk. Awesome breed!
I want to thank you for putting this up for us to see...
It was fun to watch the dogs work.
I enjoyed the fact that for most of the time the dogs did not need any instruction...they knew the goal....
Probably the happiest dogs on Planet Earth, dogs love nothing more than having a task to complete
12:38 is when dog gets launched
And the dog still brushes it off like the tough SOB he is.
What kind of dumbass puts a collar on a working dog...
@Savage Cabbage watch your mouth boy.

The other comments are helpful but I can assure you I appreciate the training that you specifically have done with these dogs it says volumes
That third dog is a very special dog.
a dog with a purpose like this is a HAPPY DOG! even as dangerous as it can be
Same could be said for people.
@@fife8332 exactlyyyy. Polices, Fire fighters, even teachers all have purpose and their jobs can potentially be (and are) dangerous, but they love their jobs

I LOVE THOSE DOGS !!!
FOLKS IF THOSE CATTLE R PISSED OFF BUT NOT WILLING TO STAND THEIR GROUND AGAINT THE DOGS..
THIS FARMER, HAS DONE A FINE JOB. ITS NOT 100% FULL PROOF BUT IT LITERALLY INCREASES THE LIKELIHOOD THAT THE FARMER, FAMILY, CREW GO HOME WITHOUT SERIOUS INJURY. THE ANIMALS R HUGE
Flatlanders gona spout about nothing they know about, but they sure know how to stuff their mug!
Satus, top notch working dogs with simple commands, well done sir!
That's the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life.....those are some smart and loyal dogs!
its a natural instinct for border collies to do this. they will heard up a flock of ducks if they wandered apart. its just what they do
Damn brute really knows his stuff, such a great dog, love it
Brute is a hell of a dog. ❤❤❤
God bless our American ranchers and Farmers. Definitely our backbone
You must be so proud of your dogs God bless all of you
My God, either the first 2 dogs were getting wore out or Brute just lo0o0oves this work... Im going with Brute just genuinly loves it. You can train a dog but you cant make em like it like he does hahaha absolutely phenominal work Sir.
I love mcnabbs.... my Mendocino ran off two Xmas ago.. they are the smartest dogs on earth.. I sure miss her!😢
Money can't buy the satisfaction and peace of mind willing and well trained humans and dogs provide each other.
I like Brut, he ain't afraid to heel one! He's gonna be a big star!
XXX
Or get his head kicked in, your right he's a good keen bugger, but grabbing the tail and holding on will get him killed, all good dogs though, just weird seeing them spoken to instead of whistled, bad facilities made them work a hundred times harder with much more risk involved for them
We always had border collies to round up the cattle, they saved so much work and it was a lot less stressful on the cattle. I alway had trouble with the Ha and Gee commands when coming towards me, Dad was excellent at it. Thanks for the video!
I learned it as “away to me” and “go by (the clock)” as in clockwise. My herding trainer had me practice the two while driving lol. Starboard and port are much easier for me 😂
My mcnab collie loves watching your dogs work!
I became a fan of brute, he is a champion......
They don’t even show their face to Brute or he’ll spin them back around!!!!! Well done 👍
Nice herders you've got there pardner. Good job B, K and SB! I'm a dog guy and have been going to dog shows since the 70's and I still find it a wonder at how all the different breeds do their instinctive jobs. It's a beautiful thing to watch a human and canines interact as you did in this video.
Your dogs are amazing! They're so smart and are excellent at their job! I grew up on a feed lot in New Mexico and wish we had dogs like them to help ❤️
Boy, that 3rd one really stirred them up! 😂
So glad I got cattle that are easy to work, if I didn’t I would definitely want dogs like yours. Well done!
One reason why this group of cattle was so difficult to get to cooperate and so easy to get to attack was because those were bulls, not cows. Cows wouldn't have acted so aggressively like they did and would've been loaded in half the time. It's the same with the males of all animals, bulls, rams, bucks, stags, bull moose, etc. It's testosterone.
@@alvexok5523those are cows mister expert…… lotta city people acting like they know in these comments.
getting cattle loaded in 10 minutes is not bad. Your dogs are so well trained. They love their job. Even with honery old cattle. 😊
😢😢😢😢
Wow... I have never ever see this before... awesome dogs
I never get tired of him using his dogs to load cattle. It's an awesome thing to watch. Those dogs are awesome animals that are trained very well.
Those are as good as any dog I have ever seen. The male was just aggressive enough. The females were smooth as silk.
The cows were normal aggravating cows.
We used steel corals next to the back of the trailer. The dogs ran them into the coral then we closed it. Then we made it smaller and smaller. The cows had to go in the trailer there was no where left to go.
Great job!
"there's a stick in the truck" well, that sticks going to stay in the truck, fetching it would require one of you lazy m************ move.
This video stressed me all the way out. * *The fact that there are heifers with calves in-tow, would account for alot of the aggression and stress on some.
*The trailer is WAY to small. And your cramming frantic heifers into it with calves is asking for a disaster on so many levels. ( One of them being smooshed or trampled for example )
***Just cause I know someone will say it, I know there is a bull***
* Smacking the calves legs with the door to make them cram themselves in infuriated me🤬
*Simple fix in the set up you have. Pull the truck up some and that would give them an easier way to fall in and load up since we both know none of y'all are gonna hold barriers.
Everything is wrong about this video is human error. You never even broke a sweat.
Those dogs are badass I will give you that.... they have been trained well (( Bet by someone else, I would put money on it)) But hey, keeps you from working huh?
" There is a hot shot in the bck seat " 🖕
Cats around the world are laughing their asses off watching these loyal dogs😂💕
Good one
People disliking what the dogs love to do more than life itself. If you don’t know or understand something instead of disliking and running your lip, educate yourself! Oh I forgot you can’t fix stupid. I’m sure some of the negativity is coming from snowflakes that doesn’t even know their own gender.... these dogs have helluva heart and that can’t be bought, either born with it or not. I’m sure he’s went through many dogs to get his blood to keep reprocessing fine specimens like these pups! Bravo partner! I need to find a good bitch for my blue heeler is anyone near KY has a red or blue heeler. He’s older so he doesn’t work like use to, he doesn’t mind to put his life on the line to save mine tho so he still has it! (Which I’d never let anything get close to hurting nowadays)
Thats where the beauty of socializing with the cattle comes in. We just guide the first one in with a little bribery and rest of the bunch mostly follow. No stress, no force

Totally agree. This is cowboys at work here. Clueless
I get this is dangerous for the dogs, but they are having fun and border collies are herding dogs(if I am correct), they were bred to do this and with excellent training, as here they can do this. I love your videos Brute is my fav.
Everything takes longer when your trying to make a video. Takes your mind out of it but helps for the viewerrs
True. Those dogs are meant for it.
If I recall these aren't precisely Border Collies but cow dogs of the Hanging Tree brand. I watched several videos in a row of Hanging Tree dogs working and this might be one of them. If so these dogs are Border Collies plus, the plus is to breed Borders for certain tenancies that may be latent in sheep dogs and to use other herding breeds in the mix to add grit, mental hardness and other traits.
@statusstockdogs I welcome correction on any of my comments, here or otherwise. I might learn something new.
You could also build a better understanding with the cows and teach them to get in without dogs chasing and biting them cows are pretty smart
chukob5 the cows finally go in after they get sick of arguing with the dogs!
Great, now I'm addicted to dogs herding cattle.😂

Brute is an amazing cattle dog!
You way more patience than the normal man, more joy for what you do, and more talent than I. A pleasure to watch your crew work. I think the owner of those cattle would have one red cow to butcher if I had been doing that.
I could watch them work all day! Badass!

Pretty badass dogs! Y’all may think it takes too long but think about what they had to work with. It took a minute, but how many cows got choked down, how many people got hurt, and how many dogs had the time of their life doing a varsity job for their handler! I could watch this all day! And for all the SUPER PUNCHERS, as soon as you can keep cows from bottlenecking at an opening, write a book, it will be a best seller! I bet it is next to “How to Read a Woman!”

Muffinz ovo Yah. It would have been sort of nice to grow up on a farm. I grew up in the city, went many years to college, learned a lot but don’t know much about some really important things. Farmers, sailors, handymen (and women), ranchers, builders, inventors, military - all know important things. Anyway, I think cows are dumb animals and horses are smart as hell. Am I right about that?
These dogs are amazing!!!
