@@dimitristourtouropoulos8917 This is a beautiful thing! Love to everyone! I have always wanted to visit Greece and my wife would gladly move there in a heartbeat having never even been there! haha! I wonder if it's possible? Would Greece allow American citizens to move there to live and work? I am a carpenter and love my work. I struggle through the winter here in the USA, and the summers are so very hot. Could it be possible to change our lives or is it only a dream?

@@ceeceety2320 Dear friend, it is all a decision. If you and your wife have really decided that you want to move to Greece, everything else is procedural. Of course, a US citizen can still live in Greece. Last years more than western Europe and America move to Greece when they retire. It is a good opportunity to buy a home because the prices are low due to the crisis. A crisis that happily but steadily exceeds. Not sure that it hurt Greeks .... haha.Even without money we celebrate and do parties. You are a carpenterso you will have the opportunity to marry two different mentalities. You will learn and teach ..... Whatever your decision I wish you a good and blessed life. And of course sorry for my english

These people have more then fresh air and clean water; they have a real sense of love and they understand how important it is to share and most importantly to smile. They have this lovely attitude, if you will, that draws you naturally. These people have no fear of loss for possession has little meaning. And they have good genes!! :))

*I've just heard about this place last week and it sounds like it matches my personality.* Living in the USA is so stressful and people can't stop trying to "keep up with the Jones'!" Screw the Jones' I want to enjoy life. I work 40 hours per week and people in the USA have said I am slacking. URGH! Overworked and over it!

La Thinktopian I'm also here in the USA and am fed up with demanding work schedules. I have a wonderful wife and pets and a beautiful home, however, it's so much upkeep and we dream of downsizing once we retire so we can travel. But, we definitely are over it as well! I am so lucky that my wife doesn't care to keep up with anyone. She doesn't want the big diamond ring or demand gifts for silly hallmark holidays. She is very down to earth and we laugh a lot! Still, there is something we long for and waiting until retirement is making less sense to me more and more. I admit, I have never taken her on a vacation the entire 18 yrs. we've been married. She is starting to speak up about that. She needs a break and so do I, but I don't even know how to relax. I've worked 7 days a week most of my life. I think if we were to move somewhere like Greece, it would be a blessing! Good luck to you! My wife says that God doesn't expect us to work any harder than we are comfortable doing. God wants us to be happy!

Haven't you ever wandered how your people lived before they started working in offices and whatnot?
