As a Mexican-American I spent most of my life in Mexico from the age of 2 to 13 so basically I spent two years in the USA when I was born till the age of 2 and now I'm back here in the USA or America(whatever your wanna call it), I can confidently say that the slang word "chido" is used but not where I was raised(Tijuana), We use the word "curada" instead in a sentence"La película estuvo curada" Or if I wanna sound more from like LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO I can say La peli tuvo chida, Another word they use is CHALE, Chale ahora sí que nos cargo ? I forgot the expression but yeah even though I was born in the USA my heart is In Mexico(my parents are from Mexico), I'm 17 now I need to go back to Mexico to brush up on my Spanish sometimes I shorten words and speak broken Spanish

Love your guys energy. These phrases were very helpful. There have been times when I've heard Mexicans talking and using some of these words and they threw me because they aren't proper Spanish phrases that are taught in books. But in the certain situations we want to sound like you guys with friends or on the streets. After all slang terms are an ice breaker and seem to put a smile on someones face when not expected from a Gringo.Im always trying to expand my Spanish vocabulary especially Mexican Spanish. So thank you so much for this and keep them coming .

These guys did a great job. Some of these expressions are used all over Mexico (que onda?, buena onda, órale, neta, qué hueva, no hay bronca, no mames/no manches (softer), a huevo).
Everyone will understand them in Mexico. A few, however, are more typical for central Mexico and you may hear them less in other states of Mexico.
In Baja California, for example, people don't say chido or padre. Instead they use suave, chingón (very informal), curada (very Tijuana), a todo dar.

Here are a few hints to help with your English... In English we say, "You don't say" instead of "Don't you say.". Also its bummer (b uh mer) not boomer (boo mer). We say 'its a bummer' when we are sad about something, or something didn't go well, or you are a little frustrated. Also if you say 'Are you kidding? in English you are asking if someone is just joking. But when we are frustrated we say, You've (you have) got to be kidding me! or Are you kidding me? but it is not really a question, but a statement that you say when you are frustrated! So just thought I'd help a little, because you guys are helping all of us with our Spanish, which I really appreciate!!!
