For players who don't know or confused as a HSR player, the copies in WuWa are actually called "Resonance Chain" like Pokke said in the video (was "Sequence" before). As for the weapon it's just Rank like it's implied in the weapon description. So we could actually translate it this way: RC0, RC1, RC2, RC3, RC4, RC5, RC6 or Resonance Chain 1, etc. R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 or Rank 1, etc. RC0R0 is 1 copy and no signature weapon (and you know the rest) You can also just go C0R0 like Genshin if you want. R0R0 is kinda awkward but can be also used. Edit: Changed because of a helpfull comment saying it was changed by the devs to avoid confusion. You can use E0S0 if you're already acquainted to HSR's way of interpretation.
They already return to using Resonance Chain in the description. I remember it being Sequence before this. I checked a Waveband after pulling for Jinshi. So yeah, even Kuro translators are indecisive between Resonance Chain or Sequence.
s6 wasnt a nerf. they moved it to the base kit to make S0 viable. s6 jinhsi does roughly the same damage now as it did before the change. also mortefi sucks for her. just use Yuanwu or Yinlin. use Mortefi in a different team
Yeah, if u have Jiyan, Mort is married to Jiyan. Mort can work at S4, but any less is not worth running with Jinhsi. Yuanwu is the best F2P option and the easiest team to play. Yinlin in theory has a higher ceiling but requires more strict rotations.

I'm sure Kuro will release a 5 star support tailored for Jiyan to sell to people who pulled him. Jiyan is also really strong in AoE content. However, what matters most is Jhinsi' animation power creep. Lil general got nothing on a real dragon.
If you guys are STILL waiting for Jinshi to get both a buffer that isn't spectro and a coordinated attacker with resonance skill deepen, I guarantee you there's already gonna be another limited banner DPS that outclasses her by a mile so this discussion is meaningless.
1 data point does not make a trend - at least not yet. If every subsequent character is around 10% better than the previous, that would absolutely spiral out of control very quickly. That said, a few more things to consider: 1. As has mentioned, the comparison assumes Yinlin vs Mortefi as the subdps. This can work both ways - while Yinlin does do more damage than Mortefi, her outro also doesn't benefit Jinhsi nearly as much. If we used Mortefi for both characters, the damage gap would close. That said, a future character that works better with Jinhsi can also push her over the edge. 2. Jiyan is just way too unga bunga compared to literally anyone else in the game. I would argue that being that braindead in execution should come with some DPS penalties over other DPS. 3. While Jinhsi does have decent AoE capabilities, it also is still not quite matching to Jiyan's unparalleled grouping. Again, in my opinion this utility should come at a penalty to Jiyan's maximum theoretical DPS 4. At the end of the day, there's so much more that goes into the output for this game than just character sheet DPS. That 10% damage can easily be made up for by bad/good Echo Substat rolls, a missed parry, extended rotation due to not enough energy on supports, etc. Unless the game is requiring you to min-max your DPS to meet the DPS checks, I don't think a 10% damage delta, especially considering the other points above, is a big deal.
Tbf, Jiyan already got his own support who work perfectly with Him. Jinhsi does not has that one Yet like what you said, if we got somebody like Taoqi but does coord atk Jinhsi celling will be Higher. So imo, compared Yinlin and mortefi is pretty fair as long as they have same investment for example if yinlin have stringmaster give mortefi s6 and the standard 5 star weapon. And compared Jinhsi+mortefi vs jiyan+mortefi is not really that fair to me Secondly, Even know Jiyan have the grouping ability. Jinhsi has one ability that i personally really underrated in West community. for context CN community really see this value so i will copy what they said : "When fighting a boss, Jinhsi mechanics are better than Jiyan. The more the boss likes to run around and fly around, the more obvious this experience gap will be" Basically the point is that A lot of Jinhsi dmg coming from that Nuke Skill and Liberation. Unlike Jiyan who is linear dmg so when boss run when he is in that Ult window a lot of dmg will be wasted, Also Jinhsi fly is really good in some scenario like that Monkey boss if you know With that being said, i agree with your point on that Data and Calcs is not everything in this Game. I'm not worried about power creeping that much, you can still beat the game with standard 5* characters. To me, it's more on play style and aesthetics. That's why I'm pulling for Changli 💦
People really trying to hype up AoE content when: 1.) Endgame tower isn't AoE at all and "AoE content" at this point is just overworld farming pretty much. 2.) Jinhsi does pretty decent grouping herself in situations like this, as every dragon groups, just like Jiyan. 3.) Mobs would literally have to spawn in the 4 corners of a map for this to be an actual problem, not semi grouped as they usually do. This is one of the stupidest points to try and bring up, honestly. She's killing all of these mobs with one of her AoEs and coordinated attacks flying around, anyway.
I mean if they're not range they'll eventually form that semi group even if they're spread. Her AoE is okay it's just not overly huge, like brainded huge xD
broo jinhsi is the freaking sentinel's resonator, she's supposed to be really strong and she has the sentinel's power, if she didn't out damage even upcoming characters I'd be very disappointed
I hope she just stays a step above others. I really like pulling lore wise strong characters. I do like how we are already told though that the Rover is the sentinels master. Its funney because the MC is actually really good in this game. Do not see me needing to get the Havoc power creep when they come.

While my jiyan lv 70 can deal 50k damage + 8k dmg each hit in ulti form. Upgrade skill lv. 1 , RC 1 , R1 jiyan. The damage gap isnt that much its only 10% , around 10k dmg higher than jiyan damage 90k vs 100k damage , with their respective pros and cons in both unit

in generel jinshi has a more complex playstyle than other dps and i think that warrants a little bit more damage. Also her best playstyle forces you tu use specific supports that deal coordinated attacks - at the moment its just a thing that these are usually very strong by themself so you do not hurt your teamcomp as much, but there might be some crazy sub dps or healer in the future you have to leave out just to buff you jinshi. Also lorewise she is probably the most powerfull character we have seen so far, so that would have also been bad if she was not good. I think the best thing that she does is that she is the first real skill damage char, and the intro/outro cheating can be really strong in the future
@@think1965 Genshin's archons are chosen by Celestia and are closer to seats of power, not really god-like in the traditional sense. If we're talking scaling, every HSR emanator we've seen are insurmountably more powerful than any archon in Genshin (Acheron being a high-end example who is most likely dwarf-star/star level). That being said, emanators aren't a representation of power unlike Wuwa and Genshin so no, Archons would be the better comparison

yuanwu with the healing set and verina with the ER set is completely busted for jinshi. just crazy outro spam and insane synergy team. the only problem in the overworld is that you need to build your yuanwu to deal with spectro immune mobs
If Yuan is healing and shielding you, you'd do better to slide in Mortefi over Verina then. you want different elements doing coordinated attacks, and Verina won't give as much as either of them. All 3 of these characters have some of the shortest on field times as well,
You definitely want mortefi/s4 baizhi/ or taoqi over verina for sure, unfortunately verina stacks up incandescence very slowly due to the shared elements
@@ozmcsween idk, the team is crazy. Did the hardest tower lvl 100 boss comfortably 3 stars. I kinda doubt you can make it much better. The rotations are almost too fast as you can't use echoes every time
Everyone worrying too much about powercreep when Havoc MC exists. They're not as strong in this ToA thanks to the Havoc resistance, but once it changes it's never over for Rover.
The best part about Jinhsi is that her current best teams don't fit her well at all with Yinlin buffing Lib dmg and Electro deepen and Verina being the same element. Even if she's a DPS, I don't think she's going to be completely powercrept in quite a while. Regarding the wheelchair general, I'm fine with his theoretical DPS being lower since he pulls everything together and is completely face roll to play. I'd be more worried if a character comes out that does exactly what he does but better.
jinhsi dmg aside, the pure amount of dps that yinlin provides over mortefi more than makes up for her lack of outro buff. yinlin ALONE can do half as much dmg as Jiyan. so even if jinhsi so much as matches jiyans dmg, the jinhsi yinlin pair will run laps around a jiyan team with s0 mortefi
Idc abt dmg power creep. What i wanna know is how you power creep those animations. Killing a boss with her skill 4 as it goes slow mo is the coolest thing in gacha imo
i think this is a special case because jinhsi represents Loong which is very important figure in chinese culture; so they made her strong enough on releade amd will release a busted support that actually buffs her (i will be coping on yuanwu healer set + taoqi tambourist er set for now)
As of today I don't think we can say if powercreep is an issue or not. This is the 2nd limited main dps unit so we are still setting the bar for how a main DPS should perform in the first place, and you can't draw any definitive conclusions based on 2 data points. We'll just need to wait and see how the next few limited main DPSes perform. Considering that Jiyan has the utility of strong crowd control in his kit and the fact that those charts put Jiyan at a disadvantage (due to Yinlin being so much stronger than Mortefi in damage), I don't think the gap between them is that substantial. (before anyone accuses me of Jiyan bias I skipped him for Jinhsi, lol.)
The thing about jinhsi s2 its that you can literally use any character with her. You dont need off field damage you could enter with any other character do an 8 sec rotation leaving her for last and when she gets in shes nuke ready anyways.
I doubt they'd make a character like Jinhsi every patch, she's a Magistrate. She's the closest to an Archon we have since it seems Sentinels are unplayable characters, but who knows.

And this game little bit different than HSR for example, This game will punish you for Brute force the Content for example cronwless has 80% of havoc res. Not needing the first 4 basics by using her Intro skill to get to E2 immediately is so amazing. Also, Yuanwu is busted as a off field support for her, especially in Tower. He needs 1 to 2 seconds of field time. And everthing he does is Coordinated attacks :) and it's really easy to get him to R6 as try to get other banner characters.

I've been using her with Yuanwu and i get stellor glamour stacks so quickly half the bar is filled by the end of Yuanwus rotation and is filled completely by the time I use enough combos to activate her skill. Taoqi is another great damage boosting option she also gives you additional shields.
I don't think it's powercreep because Jinshi isn't as good at consistently being able to group up groups. I think she only really has one attack that groups up as opposed to her comparison which just gets a full rotation that can sweep up adds with ease. So, her doing more DPS seems justified.
I think the power creep is fine lore wise Jinhsi has an actual deity. Changli should be closer to Jiyan. Also PRydwens numbers are a bit different. jinhsi is about 15% stronger than Jiyan at s0 and 8% at s6
Honestly, if she's this powerful then either they're gonna powercreep tf out of her in the future or she's so strong that future dps lost their pull value.
I am not complaining, I committed to getting Jinhsi when I saw her in the story. But of all the things they nerf, they nerfed her r6 lol. As for power creep, obviously this is insane. Could we get some insights into tower of adversity team load outs and strategy? We usually need to run 3 teams of 3. Most players now have decided on 3 DPS and now need to start making teams for that. How do we go about managing sub-dps and sustain units? What should be the load out for the earlier stages up to the hazard tower itself? Verina is best in slot everywhere but you only have 1 Verina so how do we manage that?
well the middle tower is going to be the hardest and most likely want max level to complete but You want coordinated attacks for Jinhsi. So Verena, Yinlin, Yuwu, Mortefi, and others. You could use Havec MC as another main DPS with like of Danjin and a healer. Third team could be Jiaxin with whoever.
what I like abotu her is she will not hog all the screen time. For example when Verena gets power creeped I would like someone I keep on the field for more than 1 second lol especially if they are fun to play as. She also will make her future Sub DPSes really fun to play. She feels so good with Yinlin already.
Seem her flying mechanic make her miss a lot for some reason. Or it's just me with flying skill issue lmao. (tho it doesn't really matter cuz that's not the big portion of the dmg anyway they all gettin destroy anyway) Miss them Seele glorious days.
Hopefully Jinshi is a one-off (because of her absolute Chad status in the lore) rather than the pace we're gonna creep units. I know Jiyan has comfort and a 5 star weapon vs unit, but it's still a bit rough for ONE patch later.
I think it's fine Jinhsi is stronger. Jiyan is better at parries and grouping up enemies. Jinhsi doesn't have a good way to group up enemies. I'd say she's more of a sidegrade rather than upgrade. She excels in single target but isn't as good with groups of enemies. You sacrifice utility for more damage. Sidegrades aren't powercreep.
I wonder why E2 value is not high enough. E2 literally omega boost pepe damage. In some CN or other streamer, said like you can get 50 stack so easy without E2. But for me as E2 jinshi player. Being able to do big pepe damage without thinking is abolutely crazy.

Calcs are dumb. Yinlin be making up 50% of the teams dmg by herself. We already know how much dmg yinlin can do with her weapon. Doesn’t matter that yinlin doesn’t have an outro buff when she is dealing as much dmg as a main dps would.
eh tbf if you look at the dmg jinhsi is doing only you can see that she is doing way more dmg than jiyan although unparalled in terms of confortability, jinhsi is just better in terms of dmg and especially dps(she does like twice the dps jiyan is doing, which makes sense cause she is a nuke character)

Yinlin is only the temporary best sub dps for her becuase of her coordinated attack, her other buffs doesn't benefit Jinxi much. It would be better to wait for dedicated spectral support.

So neither Prydwen nor CN community rundown brings it up, so can someone explain why my cook is bad? RC6 SpectRover does Spectro RES shred, so running mono-Spectro with Verina seems like a decent comp (the amplify given by other sub-dps aren't well-used by Jinhsi so only the moonlit clouds set + heron are the useful buffs) Maybe the lack of coordinated attacks from SpectRover are why she isn't considered? But maybe with Jinhsi's RC2 for auto-filling the bar we don't need coordinated attackers anymore
the s2 only works once in end game content. After that initial blast from her skill, she is going to lack the team mates she needs to get those stacks up to 50 fast enough to use her skill again. That appears to be the main issue here.
@@higgitaj Its only when jinhsi is not in any battle. This can be determined by: Not using stamina when on flat ground. So it works in the overworld allowing you to nuke everything without any build-up time and time again... But in TOA, holograms etc... It only works for the first skill. You will need to build up her forte all over again after that skill.

Verina is ok. Yuanwu is fine. Even Baizhi is fine. All of them can stack Jinshi, while providing sustain. Once you practice her post E2 combo with Grapple, you can dodge quite a few attacks in the air while doing your next AAAAEE combo. Also, you can animation cancel to dodge some attack.

1 data point does not make a trend - at least not yet. If every subsequent character is around 10% better than the previous, that would absolutely spiral out of control very quickly. That said, a few more things to consider:
1. As has mentioned, the comparison assumes Yinlin vs Mortefi as the subdps. This can work both ways - while Yinlin does do more damage than Mortefi, her outro also doesn't benefit Jinhsi nearly as much. If we used Mortefi for both characters, the damage gap would close. That said, a future character that works better with Jinhsi can also push her over the edge.
2. Jiyan is just way too unga bunga compared to literally anyone else in the game. I would argue that being that braindead in execution should come with some DPS penalties over other DPS.
3. While Jinhsi does have decent AoE capabilities, it also is still not quite matching to Jiyan's unparalleled grouping. Again, in my opinion this utility should come at a penalty to Jiyan's maximum theoretical DPS
4. At the end of the day, there's so much more that goes into the output for this game than just character sheet DPS. That 10% damage can easily be made up for by bad/good Echo Substat rolls, a missed parry, extended rotation due to not enough energy on supports, etc. Unless the game is requiring you to min-max your DPS to meet the DPS checks, I don't think a 10% damage delta, especially considering the other points above, is a big deal.

Jinhsi does not has that one Yet like what you said, if we got somebody like Taoqi but does coord atk Jinhsi celling will be Higher. So imo, compared Yinlin and mortefi is pretty fair as long as they have same investment for example if yinlin have stringmaster give mortefi s6 and the standard 5 star weapon. And compared Jinhsi+mortefi vs jiyan+mortefi is not really that fair to me
Secondly, Even know Jiyan have the grouping ability. Jinhsi has one ability that i personally really underrated in West community. for context CN community really see this value so i will copy what they said : "When fighting a boss, Jinhsi mechanics are better than Jiyan. The more the boss likes to run around and fly around, the more obvious this experience gap will be"
Basically the point is that A lot of Jinhsi dmg coming from that Nuke Skill and Liberation. Unlike Jiyan who is linear dmg so when boss run when he is in that Ult window a lot of dmg will be wasted, Also Jinhsi fly is really good in some scenario like that Monkey boss if you know

People really trying to hype up AoE content when:
1.) Endgame tower isn't AoE at all and "AoE content" at this point is just overworld farming pretty much.
2.) Jinhsi does pretty decent grouping herself in situations like this, as every dragon groups, just like Jiyan.
3.) Mobs would literally have to spawn in the 4 corners of a map for this to be an actual problem, not semi grouped as they usually do.
This is one of the stupidest points to try and bring up, honestly. She's killing all of these mobs with one of her AoEs and coordinated attacks flying around, anyway.
I mean if they're not range they'll eventually form that semi group even if they're spread. Her AoE is okay it's just not overly huge, like brainded huge xD

I hope she just stays a step above others. I really like pulling lore wise strong characters. I do like how we are already told though that the Rover is the sentinels master. Its funney because the MC is actually really good in this game. Do not see me needing to get the Havoc power creep when they come.

in generel jinshi has a more complex playstyle than other dps and i think that warrants a little bit more damage. Also her best playstyle forces you tu use specific supports that deal coordinated attacks - at the moment its just a thing that these are usually very strong by themself so you do not hurt your teamcomp as much, but there might be some crazy sub dps or healer in the future you have to leave out just to buff you jinshi. Also lorewise she is probably the most powerfull character we have seen so far, so that would have also been bad if she was not good. I think the best thing that she does is that she is the first real skill damage char, and the intro/outro cheating can be really strong in the future

Genshin's archons are chosen by Celestia and are closer to seats of power, not really god-like in the traditional sense. If we're talking scaling, every HSR emanator we've seen are insurmountably more powerful than any archon in Genshin (Acheron being a high-end example who is most likely dwarf-star/star level). That being said, emanators aren't a representation of power unlike Wuwa and Genshin

yuanwu with the healing set and verina with the ER set is completely busted for jinshi. just crazy outro spam and insane synergy team. the only problem in the overworld is that you need to build your yuanwu to deal with spectro immune mobs
If Yuan is healing and shielding you, you'd do better to slide in Mortefi over Verina then. you want different elements doing coordinated attacks, and Verina won't give as much as either of them. All 3 of these characters have some of the shortest on field times as well,
You definitely want mortefi/s4 baizhi/ or taoqi over verina for sure, unfortunately verina stacks up incandescence very slowly due to the shared elements

Everyone worrying too much about powercreep when Havoc MC exists. They're not as strong in this ToA thanks to the Havoc resistance, but once it changes it's never over for Rover.
The best part about Jinhsi is that her current best teams don't fit her well at all with Yinlin buffing Lib dmg and Electro deepen and Verina being the same element. Even if she's a DPS, I don't think she's going to be completely powercrept in quite a while.
Regarding the wheelchair general, I'm fine with his theoretical DPS being lower since he pulls everything together and is completely face roll to play. I'd be more worried if a character comes out that does exactly what he does but better.

As of today I don't think we can say if powercreep is an issue or not. This is the 2nd limited main dps unit so we are still setting the bar for how a main DPS should perform in the first place, and you can't draw any definitive conclusions based on 2 data points. We'll just need to wait and see how the next few limited main DPSes perform.
Considering that Jiyan has the utility of strong crowd control in his kit and the fact that those charts put Jiyan at a disadvantage (due to Yinlin being so much stronger than Mortefi in damage), I don't think the gap between them is that substantial.
(before anyone accuses me of Jiyan bias I skipped him for Jinhsi, lol.)
The thing about jinhsi s2 its that you can literally use any character with her. You dont need off field damage you could enter with any other character do an 8 sec rotation leaving her for last and when she gets in shes nuke ready anyways.

Not needing the first 4 basics by using her Intro skill to get to E2 immediately is so amazing.
Also, Yuanwu is busted as a off field support for her, especially in Tower. He needs 1 to 2 seconds of field time. And everthing he does is Coordinated attacks :) and it's really easy to get him to R6 as try to get other banner characters.

I've been using her with Yuanwu and i get stellor glamour stacks so quickly half the bar is filled by the end of Yuanwus rotation and is filled completely by the time I use enough combos to activate her skill. Taoqi is another great damage boosting option she also gives you additional shields.

I don't think it's powercreep because Jinshi isn't as good at consistently being able to group up groups. I think she only really has one attack that groups up as opposed to her comparison which just gets a full rotation that can sweep up adds with ease. So, her doing more DPS seems justified.

I think the power creep is fine lore wise Jinhsi has an actual deity. Changli should be closer to Jiyan. Also PRydwens numbers are a bit different. jinhsi is about 15% stronger than Jiyan at s0 and 8% at s6

Could we get some insights into tower of adversity team load outs and strategy? We usually need to run 3 teams of 3. Most players now have decided on 3 DPS and now need to start making teams for that.
How do we go about managing sub-dps and sustain units? What should be the load out for the earlier stages up to the hazard tower itself? Verina is best in slot everywhere but you only have 1 Verina so how do we manage that?
well the middle tower is going to be the hardest and most likely want max level to complete but You want coordinated attacks for Jinhsi. So Verena, Yinlin, Yuwu, Mortefi, and others. You could use Havec MC as another main DPS with like of Danjin and a healer. Third team could be Jiaxin with whoever.

Hopefully Jinshi is a one-off (because of her absolute Chad status in the lore) rather than the pace we're gonna creep units. I know Jiyan has comfort and a 5 star weapon vs unit, but it's still a bit rough for ONE patch later.
I think it's fine Jinhsi is stronger. Jiyan is better at parries and grouping up enemies. Jinhsi doesn't have a good way to group up enemies. I'd say she's more of a sidegrade rather than upgrade. She excels in single target but isn't as good with groups of enemies. You sacrifice utility for more damage. Sidegrades aren't powercreep.
I wonder why E2 value is not high enough. E2 literally omega boost pepe damage. In some CN or other streamer, said like you can get 50 stack so easy without E2. But for me as E2 jinshi player. Being able to do big pepe damage without thinking is abolutely crazy.

Calcs are dumb. Yinlin be making up 50% of the teams dmg by herself. We already know how much dmg yinlin can do with her weapon. Doesn’t matter that yinlin doesn’t have an outro buff when she is dealing as much dmg as a main dps would.

RC6 SpectRover does Spectro RES shred, so running mono-Spectro with Verina seems like a decent comp (the amplify given by other sub-dps aren't well-used by Jinhsi so only the moonlit clouds set + heron are the useful buffs)
Maybe the lack of coordinated attacks from SpectRover are why she isn't considered? But maybe with Jinhsi's RC2 for auto-filling the bar we don't need coordinated attackers anymore
the s2 only works once in end game content. After that initial blast from her skill, she is going to lack the team mates she needs to get those stacks up to 50 fast enough to use her skill again. That appears to be the main issue here.

@@higgitaj Its only when jinhsi is not in any battle. This can be determined by: Not using stamina when on flat ground. So it works in the overworld allowing you to nuke everything without any build-up time and time again... But in TOA, holograms etc... It only works for the first skill. You will need to build up her forte all over again after that skill.

Verina is ok. Yuanwu is fine. Even Baizhi is fine. All of them can stack Jinshi, while providing sustain.
Once you practice her post E2 combo with Grapple, you can dodge quite a few attacks in the air while doing your next AAAAEE combo. Also, you can animation cancel to dodge some attack.
@@tunagucer6962 I do think she's good with Verina since her ult does have some sort of coordinated attack but if they're saying she's at her best in a team that doesn't use any healers, won't that mean I'm not gonna be using her to her full potential and lose out on her performance? ( ͒ ́ඉ .̫ ඉ ̀ ͒)
@@Miku-IzayoiA better way to put it is that Jinshi's potential isn't maximized today in 1.1, similar to how Seele or Jing Yuan's potential wasn't maximized in 1.0 HSR.
