Confused man with confused talks 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I understand this man is retired, and had served the free world honorably, but this discussion albeit a thoughtful one on his part underscores the dire need for intelligent, and more youthful, energetic leadership.
Secondly, and bluntly I will add that the time for talk, and hand clasping repose is well past.
Now is a time, a moment in history where every free nation, Nato or not must mobilize every facet of their respective society in manufacturing, food production, energy production, and military industrial production.
If this means raising your budgets, then raise your budgets. In addition, and unfortunately there was a man in power recently that warned of all this, and demanded all free nations raise their defense budgets, and he was scoffed at.
That man was absolutely correct, and right on the money. He was also dead right about Russian gas. He also wanted to buy Greenland so he could pipeline American oil production right to Europe.
This no longer matters now because it's too late. Now it's panic time. Now your very survival is possibly imperiled, or could be.
I will state clearly, you advertise for business when you have lots of business, not when you run out of business, because by then it's too late.
So, enough backbiting, enough politicking, enough posturing, enough grandstanding, enough is enough.
It is well beyond time to roll up our collective, and individual sleeves, and do the actual work of defending our livelihoods.
Better get to work folks. Our adversaries are already executing their long planned actions.
    Thank you,
    Glory to God,
    Victory for Ukraine,
    Rise Free Nations!

We have underspent on defence for many years, it cannot be repaired easily and we need to expand our defence budget to at least 4% of GDP, more warships, more fighters, more ASW and transport, and expand the army to 120k at least. Tanks, artillery, rocket forces, anti aircraft - everything, And we have to be able to fight globally - Russia is undermining the little democracy that exists in Africa, pushing into the Arctic and north Scandinavia, It's using natural resources control to intimidate the rest of the world.

Russia started to invade Ukraine when Russia underestimated her military power while she underrated Ukraine`s defense capability. The same goes for China and Taiwan. So it`s crucial to demonstrate strong unity between Taiwan, the United States, Japan and other democratic nations in order to deter China`s military adventurism.

You gotta love it! Almost all of nato except the United States has underspent their treaty commitment for years. Now the same countries that have underspent for years are now going to exceed the treaty target of 2% by going to 2.5%. So having been unable to meet 2% we are now going to install a even more unobtainable goal of 2.5% and oh by the way we're gonna reach that goal by maybe 8 years from now.

    • @MrBlaxjax
      @MrBlaxjax 2 года назад +1

No sensible defence budget is unobtainable. And defence budgets in democratic countries are rarely enough. It's basically a matter of democratic will. Most people in most countries tend to vote for larger pensions, or better funded police, or better schools before spending money in defence. You could solve this just by changing the democratic process to something else but that might be self defeating because I think it is democracy that we are fighting for. It's worth pointing out that the USA has not got great value out of its enormous defence spending. We have had 20 years or more of badly considered, expensive and pointless wars that ultimately have left the USA about as badly prepared as everyone else for this situation now happening in Ukraine. So sure, the Americans can give more military assistance than say France. But proportionally, given the enormous size of the us population and economy, is it really as effective as it should be?

@@tommiatkins3443 Well Putin's buddy Brandon did him a solid by removing the pipeline Sanctions almost as soon as he got in office. Brandon also did his buddy Putin a solid by stating in January of this year that there probably wouldn't be any response if Russia had a "minor" incursion into Ukraine. At this point Putin said "message received and understood good buddy" and invaded Ukrain a month later.
      But orange man bad..bwahahahaha.
I caution Ukraine to keep in mind That as President Brandon's approval ratings keep plummeting due to his Abysmal failings at home and and as the DNC realizes that they're going to get slaughtered in November I'm afraid that Brandon's support for Ukraine will evaporate the instant they think it is affecting the outcome of the November election. For now Brandon is desperately grasping at everything is Putin's fault but that song is getting old.

Also can’t imagine the Russian oligarchs funding Johnson would like a real increase in the defence budget. The state of the UK armed forces are pitiful.
