What about Ismene? The poet Mimnermus states she was killed by one of the seven during the siege, but Sophocles has her alive after the events of the siege, since she shows up in _Antigone._
The gods cursed Laius for what he did to Chrysippus. It's seems unfair that his descendants had to continue to pay for his crime.

Jocasta did not age because of the necklace of Harmonia.
In fact that item could be the origin of not only Oedipus misery but of all tragedy that befall the house of Cadmus.Haphaestus cursed it .

Harmonia was the daughter of Aphrodite and Ares and Hephaestus avenge himself by giving that cursed necklace as a wedding present. The fact that it gives the wearer eternal youth caused many to sought it, willingly risking its curse. Harmonia and her husband were turned into snakes and the necklace create havoc wherever it went.
