Just when I thought my Region 10 Adventures were over...
I was invited out to Laguindingan an area about an hour to the West of Cagayan de Oro City to learn some history. I never expected that a little history lesson would turn into an amazing trek!
What an experience! Trekking off into the countryside I ended up interacting with the locals and joining a hunt for a village water source! After finding the source the locals who I had been hanging out with said "this trek isn't over yet"... they showed me "their secret hangout" spot! Which I will not be blogging about (sorry!) :)
Waterfalls, Beautiful Trekking, "Newspaper Trees", Fruits, and Nipa huts...
This is what you can find if you hangout with locals and explore here in Region 10! What an amazing day, and an amazing learning experience! There is so much beauty right outside your front door!

Great videos, Kyle. Thanks for sharing all of them with the world. Not sure if you have been to Siargao Island yet, but I'm certain you would thoroughly enjoy it there. I have a place there now right on the Pacific Ocean. I'll be in the Philippines the first of December and should be in CDO around the 7th to the 15th of December and will stay there in CDO a few days to a week before proceeding onward to Siargao.

Kulas be careful, baka magka Legionella ka dyan..even Bear Grylls suggested na pakulo-an muna ang tubig.
