cvt clutching is almost as important as engine work when it comes to performance. I remember when first put my tapp clutch on my x3 and it was a whole different monster
Just a heads up the p drive ibexx weights rub the older 19 style clutch cover. I also switched from kwi to ibexx, couldnt get the kwi right. Big difference with the ibexx kit
@@BlcCamaroz28 I upgraded mine to a p drive because my clutch was wore out and on its way to needing replaced. It had 12000 miles on it. If yours is still in good shape I’d just go with the clutch kit on yours.
@TheCanAmCrew . Yes I split the halves and definitely did not tap off. Even tried 3 jaw puller and nothing.Gave in and took to dealer. Took them awhile and a few more ughs than I was willing to make, but finally got it.
@@darylhagle8565 why? I like it hanging lol. This is the second time you commented about it. If I fix it then you wouldn’t have anything to comment about lol.
@@NorthernBuffalo a clutch kit helps with engagement, shift points, power etc. belt drives tend to loose a lot of power through the cvt system and the ibexx clutch kits have a more curved weight design and are lighter making them work faster and better. The clutch kits are fully 100% adjustable no matter what you have for horsepower, tire size or even elevation can change it.
