when they reunited once more and this song played in the anime they had me SOBBING,,,,,, i feel so bad for all of them especially since the lyrics exactly describe why past valkyrie didn’t work out and shu’s execution… aahhhh man i wish they could’ve been saved with a better dynamic, maybe if it wasn’t for the war, but i hope they’re happy rn :'))))
I think this song shows their strength; it has perseverance and a bittersweet will to find ways to carry on after losing it all. Shu laments the destruction of everything he built yet they all sings about how he must let go of his harmful ways if it means they can all become better
Actually it have a resolution, Shu forgives Nazuna, and Mika still see him as a traitor, and Nazuna apologizes to both of them, because he should have at least informed them of his departure, all of this is in the storys
When I rewatched the anime after having learnt much more about each unit's lore and songs, my heart just BROKE during the Tanabata episode in which Shu and Mika come to Rab*its rescue to save them from a duel with fine. Why? 'cuz in one of Shu's line, he says something which in the subtitles I had had been translated as "This house of cards will fall today!" while speaking about fine. But he does not say "house of cards" in japanese, he says "Sajou no rokaku." (which he meant for fine, but truly, metatextually it was meant for Valkyrie, especially considering that they lost their duel against fine). I sobbed. The parrallel are so great, and it really shows how long it took him to truly face in own behavior. It's little things like that make me love this game so much
