You go girl! I’m a fellow survivor myself (diagnosed at 34), and just recently 1 year cancer free after chemo and radiation. Sending lots of love your way!
Had a bilateral mastectomy one year ago. Decided from beginning to go flat. Surgeon worried I would change my mind. I assured him I would not. Best decision for me. It’s a very personal decision. There is a freedom in not wearing a bra. I love it!
Just diagnosed with DCIS, planning to choose a bilateral mastectomy because of the size of my mass and how dense my breast tissue is. I appreciate that you're smiling in all of your thumbnail images; it's very encouraging. Thank you for sharing your journey. Wishing you the best!
I will have my double mastectomy on Monday (3/13). I’m super nervous and scared. Thank you for your videos as it’s seen comforting. A prayers will be great! ❤
Praying for you dear! I’m so glad to hear my videos have helped. There is nothing I can say to help you be at peace with having your breasts removed. You’ll never be ready for it but I can say that I have been living a great life afterwards. Remember: the Lord conquered the grave so he can absolutely conquer cancer for you 💕

Thank you so much for making these videos and sharing your raw emotions every step of the way on this journey. I have my double mastectomy with reconstruction coming up in a week and have relied on your videos for strength and comfort. The fact that you are a dentist too just like me has given me immense faith that I too shall overcome this and be able to go back to my practice and patients in due course of time. Wishing you good health always !
I wish there was something I could say to give you comfort before your surgery but no matter I say, it’s scary as hell. But I will say that you will get thru this. You will be able to get back to your practice and your patients. And you can thrive during and after all your treatments. It is 100% possible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything I can do for you 💕
Just had lumpectomy 4 days ago for IDC. 1 node positive. Got covid for the first time as a bonus. Flat tire in the mud (glue) is my new look. Throat hurts so much I don’t even care about my boob.
Thank you! My recovery went really well. I tried to rest as much as possible and drink LOTS of water! Please lmk if you have any questions or if you need anything at all! I’ll be praying for you 💕
@@peggysimpson2766 you will never be prepared to lose your boobs my dear. It is scary. I wish there was something I could tell you to help ease this or make this easier for you but there isn’t. All you can do is trust God to see you thru this and trust that he has a plan for you in all of this. Praying for you 💕
They did the double mastectomy and place the expanders and chemo port all in one surgery and if I remember correctly it took 2 hours. Maybe 3. I was so drugged out on meds that I don’t even remember most of that day 🤪
