I am very shocked that Vegas isn’t on the list
I am very shocked that you're very shocked that Vegas is getting away with things.
Gambling pays the bills.
@@ryananderson5202 I have evidence that Chris Rooney literally match fixed the game on purpose last night
Bettmen's pet will never get punished everyone knows that.
Vegas is a Mob town. The knights will get away with whatever they want!
But Vegas gets a pass? 🙄
Vegas is cap compliant
@@tml1224only with LTIR. They had to keep players on LTIR and ice under manned rosters to even be cap compliant. Brown didn’t even achieve his performance bonus numbers but the oilers are still paying a penalty for it? Same with Perry. The only part of his contract that will count is if the oilers win the cup so I don’t know why the oilers are getting railed so hard by the league when they go out of their way to stay cap compliant Under holland, with him not even using all of their LTIR space during the regular seasons they had Klefbom and Smith on LTIR for a combined like 8 million in extra space.
When they said "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", I didn't think they meant cap non-compliance...
But they are cap compliant because they followed the existing rules
Apparently everyone needs a mark stone!
Terrible description. These are not penalties as in the headline. They are just pre-spending against next year's cap based on what they did this year. A penalty would mean something like this- you have an overage of say $2.0mil, but you have to use say $2.5mil of next year's cap for that.
These are laughable now, we all know that Bettman plays favorites
Connor Brown got his $3.25M bonus for playing 10 games
The next contract has to include an amnesty buyout every year. The player will still get his money, but it won't count against the cap.
I remember when you made a video admitting about making 0 effort videos.
Poor wild still suffering from the Parise/Suter buyout, 72.5 million in cap space, 15.2 million tied up in the two contracts that changed the contract rules.
I thought only Vegas ignores the cap..You never hear anyone mention these teams only Vegas.
Because Vegas is the only team that can beat their teams, and they need an excuse so they won’t cry at night.
@@StinkyBoy5.11well that aged well
Nice. My Avs didn’t make the list. 💪
did any of the vegas fans in the comments even watch the video or understand it? this has nothing to do with being over the cap in salary. it's literally all to do with performance bonuses putting them over the cap into the next year so they receive a penalty. vegas just doesnt have any performance bonuses
i think its the other fans of other teams asking how Vegas isnt included in this situation that need to be questioned whether they understood or watched the video.
I looked CF's players' contract area looking for specifics to whether or not players' have obtained the required 'performance", its not listed. Tell me you're not guessing. In Perry's case, IF CapFriendly is accurate, then his performance is based on playoff performance and right now, nothing is guaranteed, as its only first round. I looked at two or three other teams, I didn't see specifics.
I think the more important matter is the discussion about how teams abuse the LTIR salary cap
If the Habs don't get to switch to play for the PWHL yes they should be fined
The fact that no one seems to care about Vegas but they want to penalize other teams for salary cap problems won’t sit well with the owners of over a third of the league
wont do anything about vegas, didnt do anything about tampa either, ironically both those teams happen to win cups. dont tell me bettman doesnt have favorites. the guy has been killing the league for a decade, time to step down.
I do miss pre-cap Detroit paying players under the table in incentives.
meanwhile MTL, NYR, EDM, TOR, DET, CHI keep the rest of the league afloat with profit sharing...... So how about the teams that pay a tax, to help crappy florida fan bases keep their team (and Utah) . Any team giving profit sharing should get a HIGHER cap by 5 Mill.
LOL! Vegas not being on this list is just hilarious. I bet all the haters will just skip this comment section. Vegas for the repeat!
Finally a Vegas fan finally admitted it
@@supersenpaizytyou got him dude, that was a really really really really really good one.
I'm glad the Avalanche weren't none of the teams listed!
Teams with deep pocket aren't gonna worry about a little penalty.
They should immediately remove the Stars and Oliers from the playoffs.
So Vegas can openly circumvent the cap but nobody will deal with that. Of course.
Carolina won't have an overage. Jackson Blake would have to play 19 playoff games to get his bonus. That's not going to happen.
Oh whoopi ,while lost of teams are over in the finals ,so why they don't fire BETTMAN it's getting worse with him ,,,,Darrell
Vegas should be on that list for LTIR manipulation. Slap them with at least an 8 million dollar penalty and forfeit a 1st and 2nd round pick too.
But there not because they follow the rules unlike these teams. It's like karma 😉
Vegas doesn’t keep their first and second round draft picks, don’t you know?
AND THERE CUP
Take thier first round draft as penalty
What about vegas?
Good for teams like the Red Wings who will have some money that they can spend.
Kane did a press conference like 4 days ago. They asked him if he's resigning and he said "I don't know. I think I'm going to talk to my agent and listen to what offers come in the summer and I'll go from there"
So the wings will have cap. Cause it sounds like kanes gone.
I tried telling wings fans. I had a feeling if they missed playoffs that he might not resign. It looks like I was right lol
@@Siksdev I don’t know what he’s going to do. And I don’t think you do either. But that’s not what I was talking about. They can get other players too. And re-signing Seider and Raymond is what’s most important. It’d be cool to have Kane back but not imperative.
@@crossface222 I can send you his press conference if you want.
It sounds like he is gone. He said he knew there was already good players in Detroit so he thought if he signed in Detroit they would've been more of a cup contender.
Which obviously didn't happen.
He was talking in past tense about the wings a lot. Thanking the fans, and management for giving him an opportunity.
Then he was asked if he's going to resign...which is when he brought up How he's going to talk to his agent and listen to his options this summer before he makes up his mind.
Teams take a penalty and the league will give it to vegas
Does not everone know all the penalty funds go to Vegas 🎉🎉🎉🎉 win win for all 😅😅😅 clos ur eyes and drp the bar of soap u all 😮
VEGASSSS, VEGASSSS< VEGASSSSSSSS!!!!?!?!?/?!
Get rid of Gray Bettman he is the cancer of NHL.
Listen cap bait master could you please come up wth an original anything?
OMG!!! You mean VEGAS is not on the list? All that crying and whining over Vegas, but they are not over the Cap like Edmonton or Toronto? Let’s Go Vegas, make them Cry!!!
Why be toxic and rude. Joke of a fan. As a vegas fan, your attitude stinks.
You're funny man
Bettman won’t be around forever. Enjoy it while it lasts.
but the oilers dont do this, its the dumb stupid knights!
