  • 2006 Nissan Armada goes off road to test its capabilities. I believe it is the first Armada to ever do California Gluch to the Boarder, the entire Tucson Wash Trail and Montana Mountain. Other trails were Sasco Mine, Turkey Creek, Copper Creek, Patagonia Mountains, Blackhills Back Country Byway, Bonita Creek and the Orange Cliff The Armada is stock except for the rock sliders, lift and wheels. She was able to handle everything we put her through. Special thanks to Performance Off Road Wisconsin for rock sliders and Toyo Tires. Jerry Miller and Chuck Webber were the drivers on the various trails.

    Love your video sir and I love how you set up your truck, it's perfect in my eyes and liking.
    May I ask what is the tire size and the wheel offset? Also, what kind of lift kit did you install? Thank you in advance.

    Hey Motowest awesome work on the Armada. Any modifications done to the suspension at all? Was it raised?

      Two inch body lift. It is the Off Road edition so it came with rancho shocks and upgraded suspension. I add rocksliders that were made for a Titan truck.

    What side steps do you have?

    • @kmatejovsky
      @kmatejovsky 2 года назад +1

      Those are rock sliders manufactured by Performance Off Road Wisconsin.
      Sliders are attached directly to the frame by bolts or welds. They are a functional component for body protection and will support the weight of the vehicle, unlike "side steps" that are made to allow access to the vehicle.
      Side steps would be damaged and/or break off, if the vehicle were to come into contact with a large rock or boulder.

    Slow and painful to watch. I bought one of these for the price of a nice coffee maker, zipped off the running boards and replaced the front bumper with some random baja style junk I found on craiglslist and started bombing the trails and beating that nissan like it stole something from me. In short, they are pretty tough, don't wheel hop or you will break axles, the power is phenomenal, and the diffs are open.....so don't ever articulate unless you want to get stuck. Oh, and standing burnouts are out because of the computer unless you do the brake switch mod.
