As a young adult, I can relate to the need to balance financial responsibility with maintaining a fulfilling life. Sometimes, we might get caught up in the idea of saving every penny, but this video reminds us that neglecting health, relationships, and self-care can lead to long-term consequences. Thanks for sharing this thought-provoking content.
There is no point in saving if you can't enjoy what you've earned.

      Screw that!! I'm sacrificing everything!
Plus since I grew up poor I don't need much to be happy.
My issue is FOOD I'm not over weight but I love to eat! But besides this I literally don't do anything besides work and invest in all of my businesses.
Since I'm able to travel for free because of one the businesses I own I'll take that as spoiling myself. Even though when I travel I barely spend any money 🤭

There's a difference between Frugality and being cheap. Frugality is all about being conscious about spending and looking for the best bang for your buck, while being cheap is neglecting everything else and looking for the cheapest option or even waiting till the last second to spend money. There's one that's penny pinching and the other that's consciously spending.

      I'm guilty of this!!!
I just love watching my business account grow!
I do have problems with food though, for example I'm sooo greedy with food that my mom would cook and I would STILL buy food and eat both!
But that's it! I wear the same clothes because I'm always working and I completely stopped interacting with women because women are a MAJOR liability, especially for men like myself.🤭

I’ve heard someone say that a private jet may be a necessity but a fancy car is a luxury. Why? A basic car can do the same job as a fancy one, but huge companies and world leaders have to travel suddenly and there are no alternative options.
My family has taken this to heart. Our favorite thing to do costs thousands of dollars in equipment, but the cheaper options would greatly reduce the quality of the experience. Now that we have the equipment, we will never have to buy it again and use it consistently. I felt guilty for spending the money at first, but it was our tiny version of a “private jet.”

    Key insights
🎯 "Health is one of those things you'll never get back. Once you lose it." - Brian Dyson, former CEO of Coca-Cola.
🏥 Skipping medical care or going without health insurance can be risky, as medical expenses are the leading cause of bankruptcies in the United States.
💔 Prioritizing saving money over relationships can lead to loneliness, which can be as harmful as smoking or alcoholism.
💰 Taking frugality too far can lead to neglecting necessary home maintenance and repairs, which may end up costing more in the long run.
🚗 "No amount of saving money is worth our safety."
💰 Saving a few dollars on a used or hand-me-down car seat is not worth risking your child's life.
🎯 Don't make frugality the ultimate goal; instead, use it as a tool to design a life that you love.
💼 Investing in yourself and acquiring marketable skills can be an even greater asset for making more money than investing in the stock market.

I wish I could find a place in my state who’ll help Poor fix their homes for little to no cost and do it right. Skip car repairs because people are too frugal? Those who complain about car maintenance should stop griping about cost! At least you still HAVE a car to bellyache about! I was forced to give my car up 13 years ago because had no money to maintain the lease and they refused to lower the cost. People who are frugal shouldn’t yap about car repairs, car maintenance or gas prices! They’re not walking! After getting hit by a non paying attention driver as I crossed the street, being in a car is a hell of a lot safer! Stop griping about your car! You have one! You’re not taking your life in your hands as a pedestrian! You don’t have to walk in bad weather! You don’t have arthritis in your feet and ankles forced to walk because you can’t afford transportation on wheels! If maintaining your cars is such a hassle give it up! I sure wish I had a car to complain about! It’s the last thing on my bucket list to achieve before I go blind.

Someone said to me “Lisa Nidog yes but junk food and fast food is not good for you..... that's a fact”. And I say fast food is in the eye of the beholder. If you don’t want to eat it, you don’t think it’s good for you, fine, got no problem with that. But to dictate to others I don’t agree with it. I eat only chicken for the most part. I bake it. Skin on. When I’m done with my chicken mode I eat packaged food in the oven. And I like cup noodles of various flavors. I like it! I pay for it! If someone else doesn’t like those don’t eat it. You’re not paying for my food. Fad diets aren’t good. But it’s their decision to go on them to fit some arbitrary societal ‘norm’ decided by others. As a teen I was stupid enough to do it. That is until I fainted in a bathroom because of diet pills that were the fad of the day. Never again. People take supplements hawked by others until they have a health problem with it like nausea, fast heart rate, headaches because they listened to others. Fast food a fad? it’s been around since I was a kid. I’ve eaten it. The grease makes me sick to my stomach. But who am I to tell people not to eat it. It’s their money. Concerned about others’ health? Yeah…uh you gonna pay any of their medical bills? Uh…no.
For many smoking is bad. My father smoked not much. He got cancer and passed a few years later of lung cancer. I’ve smoked 30 some years. Chain smoker. No cancer. I’d never smoke around a non smoker. I don’t smoke in other people’s homes. They don’t have to tell me. If they come to my place and I need a smoke I go to the kitchen away from them. No one as yet has said don’t smoke in your own home because I’m here. I go in another room. I have to eat several meals a day to keep my blood sugar up being hypoglycemic. I pick my own meals. I don’t ask what others think. Don’t care. It’s the advice thing. And again I wonder why people need others to decide what others should do according to them. I find it odd seeing people waste money on gambling tickets while complaining about inflation. I encountered someone like that in my corner store two months after I tearfully had to give up my car unable to pay the lease. There was a guy complaining loudly how gas prices were so high in 2010. I watched him put down 50 bucks in cash for a big handful each of lotto and scratch off tickets. I said to him since he had no problem complaining out loud about gas prices you could’ve spent that money on gas! I said could’ve, not should’ve. He looked at me as if I fell out of space and ran out. I wasn’t telling him what he should’ve done, but I was ticked that he was complaining about gas prices on a car he was still lucky enough not to have to give up. I’ve been saving up for a car for 14 years. Paying bills keeps getting in the way. Complain about gas prices, insurance costs or repairs? When I get a car I won’t care about that. I’ll have a car again. I’ll have independence again. I won’t be taking my life in my hands crossing the street where one driver hit me in a crosswalk. But until that day comes when I get a car, yes I’ll snarl when ai hear people complaining about their cars. They at least still have one. Yes I’ll snarl when ai hear ‘advice’ about frugality when you barely practice it and what works for you may be not so successful with another. Why? Because too many have tried to dictate to me what to do when to do if ai can do it, what to wear, what to eat. I resist. As an adult figure things out for yourself. Frugality isn’t a bad thing either. Cheap food is better than starving. Done that had no choice. I would’ve eaten someone giving me a hamburger and their arm. Kidding about the arm part. I buy frozen pizza to bake. I like it. Love the cardboard box to use when I need cardboard for my hobby art. You don’t like pizza don’t eat it.

In fact you could learn how to set your own broken bone (former EMT here). I never smoked, little alcohol and lived/ate relatively healthy; yet I’ve been dealing with Multiple Myeloma (blood/bone marrow) cancer for 7 years. Literally no known cause. Stem Cell Transplant, 6 rounds of chemo and since then constant chemo maintenance or now monoclonal antibodies. Sure glad I have not just insurance, but good insurance. Generous tippers would come out a little better.

Maybe make a few videos explaining the simplicity in truly building wealth. With all the videos and all the media it's easy to forget the true simple and basic principles that build wealth such as investing and forgetting. By doing just that consistenly every month, you could buy a new haircut everyday until your wallet is dry but if you invested first and never pull it out, then you WILL build wealth. Its so simple but life complicates the hel out of it

There’s no such thing as taking frugality too far. Oh but we care so much that you’re neglecting your health because of it. Great! So pay their medical bills for it. Any takers? Uh…nope.

What was it you said about being humble 🤔 Your channel was more enjoyable when you were the guy next door. Calling yourself an “expert” is a stretch considering every other sentence seems to be straight out of a personal finance book that someone else wrote. The success of your channel seems to be going to your head. Unsubscribed

This guy bothers me no end. He reminds me of a couple ex friends I had a few years ago. The girl thought for some reason that she owned my home. She kept giving unasked for advice on how to decorate it. I told her to mind her own business. Her boyfriend had a problem with the clothes I was wearing. They were Goodwill at the time. My Goodwill has moved, no car I have to Big Lot it. He kept saying you’re dressing down! Had no idea what that meant. When he explained it I said tough! Then he said your clothes reflect on me! Not his girlfriend, him. I told him we’re separate people. My clothes have nothing to with you. Kinda funny coming from him who never shaved let alone wore any tuxedos. So I asked him, are you gonna buy me a new wardrobe? He said no. I said then keep your mouth shut then! I got sick and tired of them inviting me for lunch and I always paid. I said you invite me, you pay the tabs from now on. I’m done. They always knew where the places were and at the time I had a car, they always used mine. Never theirs. Never paid me gas. I got sick of it. You want to go out inviting me, use my car instead of yours, you pay gas money! They didn’t like that. The breaking point came when I was contemplating visiting an e-mail friend in England. I was trying to figure out where to get a never before had passport, got permission from the guy to bring these two with me. They refused to contribute anything to the cost of the trip and expected me to pay for their passports. I refused. Never did go. Couldn’t swing it financially. They even wanted me to go to a family reunion of cousins I didn’t know to get free food! We didn’t go. I wasn’t gonna be miserable with people I didn’t know because they wanted free food. The point is, they were NOT going to control my finances , how to decorate my home, what I ate, what I wore. So seeing this guy dictating to people bothers me. Frugality I know quite well for 30 some years. He said he sometimes wears a shirt many times? I wear them until they become thread bare. Car maintenance he started to talk about which I left? I came up with on my own, to get my car checked out once a year. Cuts down on maintenance repair eventual cost. I no longer have a car forced to give it up having no money in 2010, and to hear people complain about their cars with cost, be grateful you HAVE a car to gripe about!
I gave an opinion on people like him who dictate and call it advice. He’s not paying your car repairs, he’s not buying your food, if he commented on clothes after I left, he won’t be buying you a new wardrobe. Why can’t people figure things out for themselves instead of depending on others!
No one is going to dictate to me what opinion I give. I keep it clean, I don’t threaten, I don’t name call, and this guy couldn’t care less what I think. But I won’t say what he or others think I should. I don’t tailor my opinions to suit others. I don’t care if people don’t like the length that I write. I don’t write, think, or talk in three syllables to suit those who don’t have a long attention span. Read me or don’t. Your choice. I write for me no one else. I was curious what his video was about, saw some, had opinions and gave them. Get over it, people, and stop griping at me!

Here’s a tip! You have a problem with people you don’t know buying cheap food? YOU find every one of them, YOU buy their food, YOU cook it, YOU serve it, YOU clean up. Eating cheap food beats going hungry which doubt you’ve never done, sir. It’s not your call to decide what others eat if they’re frugal. They didn’t ask your opinion and they don’t need your judgement. Cheap food is NOT taking frugality too far. Beats starving with no food! And I’ve also experienced that too and almost died. You take food for granted judging by cost. You’ve never gone a day hungry I bet.

Christ you're taking it personally. He's not talking to people who are starving. He's talking to people who are penny pinching.

@@discocycle yes I take it personally. He griped about buying cheap food, namely fast food. And I said it’s not his call to decide for others what they eat UNLESS he’s willing to buy the food he thinks they should have, cook it and present it. Talking about frugality doesn’t mean dictating to others! Cheap food or not, one should be grateful to even have food. ANY food. And since this guy has never gone a day hungry, and I have, who is he to tell frugal people what to eat anyway. I know all about penny pinching nothing wrong with cheap food. It’s like people who say ramen noodles and mac and cheese is Poor food. You can add a lot to both to make it last several days, and no such thing as Poor food or Rich food or Middle Class food. I get annoyed with people like him who decide for others what they do, what they should eat and claim it as advice. Frugal people should figure things out for themselves what they buy! I dumped a couple people a few years ago who was just like this guy! She acted like my place was hers, they never paid for lunch and I got sick of paying and never paid me gas money yet insisted on using my car not their own! One of them even criticized my cheap clothes and I told the guy if he didn’t like my cheap clothes he could buy me new ones. He refused but never said another comment about my clothes. I dumped them both! Tough if you don’t like me not praising him! People have been dumbed down so much they can’t figure things out for themselves! I don’t need YOU telling me what I can and can’t say!
