Great video, Tae! My husband and I were almost out of debt through rigorous budgeting and paying down debt with every cent. Then we fell off the wagon a bit after he had to buy a new (to us, don't worry, it was used!) car after his completely broke down and needed an $11k engine. But we have grit! I need to focus on our "why," forgive the slip-ups after the car purchase and get back on the right path. Great content!
I'm doing a PhD right now. The environment is grueling, but I know I'll emerge out the other side much stronger than I went in. I just have to keep at it.
The swimmers psych experiment is the thing. Like military training, the published exercise is say 15 miles. Then when the squad get there, they're told it isn't over, they have to do another 10. This is what grit is, what separates winning from losing. It's that stubborn mindset not to quit, not to stop. The 99th sales call that gets the 'yes', not the 99 'no's.
Great video as always as always, Tae. Would you consider evaluating allocations funds/multi-asset funds-VWENX/VWELX, FPURX, FBALX, FFNOX, etc? I don’t see much content on RUclips for such funds. Keep up the great work. 👍🏽
Discipline will take you where motivation can’t 💪
I need guidance and I lack that…. I don’t really understand. And I really need money
How can I get one?…. Do you have one?

The Why is the key. The bigger the why, gotta have the why. Thanks Tae. Tony Robbins and Jim Rohn told me about this but 12 years later it clicked.
You're speaking on so many levels. I've watched this 5 times back to back now. This is an amazing guide please keep up the great work!
I respect sharing the personal experience as a catalyst for change; I can relate.

I thought True Grit popularized the term “grit”years ago. Guess I’m old now 😊
Ikr? Grit from grits, the hard part of the corn(?) that the machine can't grind down.
