- In this video, I show you how to do a Honda Fit / Jazz Parking Light Replacement. This was done on a 2005 Honda Jazz which is from the first generation 2001-2008 but may work on others the same way.
Changing the bulb is done via the fender liner so it's a quite tight spot.
Steps to change the parking light bulb:
1. Get the new 5W/12V bulb with a friction connection
2. Steer all the way to left if changing the bulb on right side to make space or vice versa if working on the left side of the car
3. Remove the 2 clips from the fender lining to allow it to be pulled back
4. Pull pack the fender liner and with your other hand reach in and find the bulb and turn it anticlockwise and pull it out.
5. Remove the old bulb and place a new one
6. Push the light back into position and turn clockwise to lock it into place
7. test that the light works
8. Insert the 2 clips back into place so that the fender liner hold in place 👇👇 Buy something and support the Homeneer channel 👇👇

Thank you so much. This is very useful now that I have to replace both sides. Big hug!
Thanks man, I watched different videos, but this one is best of the best, inclusive you show the bulb, and the easy way to do the job. I very appreciated you shared this video.
Thanks for commenting. Really great to hear feedback 🙂
I think the same. I've been watching replacements like this since a cup of weeks, and this was the best
Just what a brother needed, I have a 2007 Fit in need of a new parking light, this is a little different but the pulling out of the clips and bending back the wheel well cover are very much the same as what I had to do to change my headlights. Thank you very much for posting this! 🙏🏾
Great to hear that it helped
Thanks for posting. I like your slow and easily understandable description and care.
Thanks 👍
very helpful thank you, I now know how to do this on my 04 Fit, I'll do both at the same time so they wear evenly, thank you again, kind regards from Aotearoa :-)
Awesome to hear that the video was helpfull. Really appreciate you leaving a comment since hearing that I was able to help encourages me to make more videos.
Doing this method tomorrow on my 07 fit sport pck other videos remove the whole bumper lol NZ

Great to hear that
thanks for the tips
You're welcome
Thanks sooo helpful
Welcome
Grazie.👍
Welcome 🤗
This is a great guide but to anyone else with a 2009 you don’t have to do all this
Ok
Is this the same for the 2003 fit?
Sorry I don't know
@@Homeneer yes it was the same ... but the garage did it for me ...
good morning sir, every morning i start up the of honda fit Why the idle is so high?
Sorry I'm not familiar with that issue. I think there is a way to adjust the idle rpm. Maybe try searching for Honda idle rpm adjustment
Why does it take 8:35 minutes for something that can be done in 2 minutes ?
Can the main H4 bulb be changed the same way?
The main bulb can be changed more traditionally via the engine compartment. Sorry don't have a video on that and currently i have a focus and mondeo no jazz anymore.
@@Homeneer thanks for the reply. Other videos on RUclips suggest the whole front bumper and to be unscrewed and partially removed to access the main H4 bulb.
Which year your car is?
I had the first gen jazz 2001-2008 and im pretty sure the headlight was via engine room. And the other side is quite tight. On second gen you need to remove more stuff to get to the headlights
@@Homeneer 2006 GD car
mine are not working :/ i installed led one and they were working fine for more than a year, i checked and no burn on none of the 2 in the front or the back
Sorry to hear that
@@Homeneer the issue was fixed yesterday, a short circuit on my car alarm, it was making my lights not working but all good now
Push pins are just the worst.
Jep
Thanks! Kinda a pain in the buttocks.
