“Ambre des abysses” is plural. “Des” describes multiple; “de” is singular. I’m so glad you did these, my friend. I haven’t had Houbigant in my collection for a couple of decades. The patchouli and tobacco both interest me. Thank you.
@@mikeycologne Again, you do a fine job and I watch you daily. You’re very sincere, down to earth and have some swag.👍🏽 Many frag reviewers, including several very established ones, have occasional pronunciation challenges because so many titles are in French. That’s my second language so I assist when possible. “Bois” (BWAH) is really common so it’s an easy peasy to master. Keep up the good work!
Cheers Mickey, I enjoy my two from this house ,Fougere Royal and Cologne Intense ,however Cologne Intense as you say starts out powerful and is really nice ,but it does not really hang around and disappears way too quickly.Great vid mate and happy Christmas and a fabulous new year 🙏✌️👍
I appreciate the support pal happy Christmas to you and yours I hope you have a fantastic new year. The ones I’ve tested are off very high quality smooth that tabac nomade is 🔥
Noiiiiiice. Sounds like I'd be a fan of Ambre des Abysses then! Appreciate the feedback on Tabac Nomade too. Hope you have a wonderful holiday Mike. 🎄 Cheers!
Love the house of Houbigant and do have a few of their prominent releases....tried most of their new releases and definitely need to aquire Ambre des abysses and Tabac Nomade, both are bangers...I love Patchouli Noir but the wife doesn't....have you tried Figuier Noir? Its definitely worth sampling
Cheers for your input mate I definitely need to try ambre des abyss. Yeah I done first impressions on figuier noir i brought a 100 ml bottle. It’s a fantastic fragrance I will be doing an update review tomorrow 👌🏻
Bois mystique is fantastic, it smells like what Creed royal oud wants but fails to be, the only con i have with BM and houbigant in general is that they don't evolve much once the opening fades, i like fragrances that keep evolving till the end.
Hey Mikey, watched this vid with interest but I’ve got a few questions… 1). Is your surname really cologne? 2). Did Houbingant send you those samples for free? 3). Do you try them all first before making the videos? Just winding you up fella 😂 Great vid as always! I’ve only tried Fougere Royale by them as I think I read it was the first men’s fragrance created. It is an old school fougere like you mentioned with one of the others, bit barbershoppy but classy and sophisticated as well, maybe more for a man in his 50’s and up though.
I LOVE Ambre des Abysses. One of my favorites in my 85 bottle collection.
Awesome reviews Mikey! I got Houbigant Ambre DES abysses. Its not good, its amazing!
Great review, I have to admit you sold Cologne Intense, it's now discontinued but I managed to find a bottle for 90€, cheers !

My favorite is Tabac Nomade, and second Ambre des Abysses, and the Bois Mystique

It's great. I got the 7 piece sampler set a few days ago. I'm torn between this and bois Mystique.
Ambre des Abysses is my scent of the day! Love it. It does smell like a few frags..gucci guilty elixer and both reflection man.
I’m trying to get a sample off that one

Happy holidays to you and yours too mate. No I need to get my nose on that one at some point I will mate 👌🏻
Patchouli Sauvage is very nice. Perris-Houbigant patchouli is one of the best in the nice parfumery.
Yeah it’s a stunner mate I will be getting a full bottle no doubt about that 🔥👌🏻
