I love that you apply your stitching to your daily things,Christine! This shows your passion for textiles, handmade and repurposing. This idea is great! Tfs 😊❤
Thank you so much Giusi. You’re right about my love of beautiful old fabrics and giving them new life. I hope the end of the year is bringing you relaxation and every best wish for a beautiful new year ahead. Happy stitching 🤗 cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thanks so much Sally! 😊 I love how simple but effective the washi tape tip is and a great way to use designs of washi take you won’t use for anything else. Hope you’re having a relaxing end to the year. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thanks so much! I love Tassie, it's such a beautiful part of the world 😊 we enjoyed the cooler day yesterday and today also. Hope you’re having a relaxing end to the year. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the calendar as much as I love it. I really like how it looks with the pillow fabric. Hope you’re having a relaxing time post Christmas. Cheers, Christine 😊
Thank you for your company and the resource of the planner Christine. Gosh that sounds so hot I am here in the UK with a heated blanket over myself while knitting, it would be nice if it was a little warmer but I know I could not cope with those temperatures. So glad Lord T has a pool, I would not expect anything else 😂
So funny Carol to think that we have such differences in temperature - knitting with a heated blanket sounds like the perfect plan for your weather. Thankfully yesterday and today are cooler so we’re enjoying the chance to take Travers for some outings. Cheers, Christine
Hi Christine, what a great project xx Thanks for the heads-up with the washi tape, I can't for the life of me, stitch a straight line 😣😣 TFS XX love & hugs xxxxx 😍😍
Hi Christine, what a great idea! I love using old pillowcases. Thanks for the washi tape tip. That'll come in real handy. I hope you had a happy Christmas! 😊
I'm so glad you liked the washi tape tip, it is such a handy little trick! 😊 And great to hear you use pillow cases too - they come in beautiful fabrics. Cheers, Christine
@createandcraftwithchristine just resting and elevating my legs, trying to get the swelling down some. But, I'm getting to watch crafty videos so I'd say it's a good night! Thanks, I hope the same for you.
Great Idea, love it :D re the AC we have evap and when it's going to be HOT like we've been having we put ours on low usually about 8am and then turn it up as the day goes on. It's easier to keep it cool than to cool it down. We have evap so fortunately it's been dry but some of the humid days we've had lately it's been rather drippy 😄
That washi tape idea is really handy. Does the tape leave any sticky residue? It does make the lines of stitching lovely and even. Once the calendar has been retired, the fabric case would be handy as a book protector. It’s something that can be added to and adapted in future too. Yup, there’s virtually no air con here in the uk, and some of the places that do have it rarely have it switched on - or don’t have a system that works well! 😂

I agree - keeping it cool is definitely easier than cooling it down! I much prefer the dry heat rather than when it’s humid! Cheers, Christine
