Two additions I am loving is that in the evolution objectives you can sub on your player and they don't have to be in the starting XI. And secondly the amount of free kicks I have scored already (especially with Madders who is insane on set pieces)

Hi Nep, If you want another Jumbo Rare Players Pack, to complete the Moments milestones, you require an 88 Squad at full chem. With the new icon loans from Swoosh, this is now relatively easy to do. Each moment takes 1 run and shoot to complete. In case you hadn't managed this yet. Cheers! Loving the game this year so far.

Did the 100k packs pay out for you? De Bruyne Osimhen and Leao were my best pulls bar fodder that’s about it
@maxvajs6698 I got Griezman and a fair bit of fodder. Pack weight is going to be relatively low at this early stage in the game cycle however so I'd say your pack luck was pretty awesome to be totally honest! My focus was on getting KDB sbc done - as by the years end he will be one of the most rare card, with his availability limited to us lucky folk with ultimate edition/early access!

Play styles remind me of badges on NBA2K where there are also badges which are super strong and some that offer very little. I like the addition mainly because I think it can change the type of players that are meta/useable but wonder if long term they are gonna do it like 2k where play styles become consumables and you can equip them to cards which have the slots available to them.
I was NOT expecting a League comparison at 13:20, but it does make sense.

So true what you said about Playstyle+, I have Trent who has the playstyle plus long passing and he can ping crazy balls around the pitch, defo recommend any player with that attribute
Sanchez in goal was a beast for me. Was nice to try player's I'd never normally use in the evo friendlies
I kinda like the idea with the playstyles that (for example) like you said that the playstyle plus of crossing and power heading will be so meta that people will get centre backs that can counter those playstyles. It may mean that having 'off-meta' cards that are not countered by the meta countering are really good. I guess the idea that a team could be better than yours, due to strat choices, without having better cards is kinda interesting.

I haven't played a FIFA game since whenever drafts was first introduced so I have mainly been a FIFA viewer on RUclips. I'm always interested at the start of any RTG but later on when the metas are found and EA forgets they are supposed to update the game, I lose interest and end up not following the RTG until the next FIFA.
This FIFA or whatever it should be called looks to have the potential to be the best game they have made. All these quality of life improvements and what seems a gameplay that suits all playstyles. I just hope that they keep adding content and even with very season update, change something about the gameplay mechanics or upgrade/downgrade player ratings.

One of the best additions to this game is controlled sprinting. I have Harry Kane and been using controlled sprint with him, and it makes him very useable on the ball in tight areas

you should always build the strongest team you can, either if its evo, buying with coins, etc... don't save packs and evo's , i's stupid imo ... last year i saved so many packs since november, for the toty, and i said "i surely get at least 1" ... did not get any of them, but maybe if i would have opened them in december or whatever, i could have got a great card that would have helped me then ...
I disagree about the “meta” this year. I think it’s great because there will be different routes such as whipped crosses and power header/aerial or maybe incisive pass with first step/rapid attackers. Even things like if a player has finesse shot or power shot play styles it will cause people to play different ways and defend differently which is what people have been wanting for years. EA just need to find a balance so that no specific play style is more overpowered than others

Yup, League is still like you remember it. Getting a good comp with good champ synergy will grant you a significant advantage, especially in pro play. There will always champions which are broken in a given meta and are able to solo carry a game (the Mbappe's of LoL) in the right circumstances, but putting together the right comp is hugely valuable.
I love League and I love playing UT, but considering they're both huge time sinks, I've decided to drop EAFC this year (at least for the time being) in favor of League and other single-player games. It's still fun to stay connected to UT, though, at least through RUclips, so thank you for the awesome content, Nep!

I had a problem with my evo, I'm using Curtis Jones in golden glow part 2, and I was on to the 3rd part of the challenge and had all of the assisted I needed and 4 of the 5 wins I needed, and I logged on last night the progress has reset, wondering if you've heard of this happening to anyone else?

I used Beto as my founders evolution, Yes I rushed into it without thinking and would take it back if I could.But that being said he's a monster he's a freak from corners and soo strong and super fast.

Yo nep, you ever thought of doing a series kinda like packed out where you could build a bronze squad with an arsenal player, for example, and you play for upgrades? Only play 4-5 games an ep and not touching the account? Because we all know now you’re a beast when it comes to not spending money so you may as well use legends and enjoy it more on your main account and that provides way more longevity. Still an idea if you get bored👍
Why do the rivals seasonal rewards not show any packs? (20/50/90games) just shows a trophy thing but no packs?

I think you’re spot on in terms of the evolutions Nep, people being scared of “making the wrong decision” are those that fear missing out on the meta cards.
I’m treating Evo as opportunity to boost players that I like or mean something to me (from my team etc) that ordinarily would be unusable.

The problem with playstyle plus for me is that I think the community will end up getting them nerfed into the ground in just a few weeks. I love the idea that there are gonna be target men that might be meta. Or even Trent having more use than Kyle Walker for the first time in FIFA. I think it's great that there aren't the same type of players that everyone uses.

Although the game is still buggy, I am enjoying the gameplay and learning how to defend without much AI help. As I am typing this, my game just crashed while leading 2-0 in a game XD. Also Nep, do you think that the better evo upgrades will turn pay to win seeing that the Relentless winger evo is the first one?

Just a quick one on the playstyles the problem for me is you don’t know what you’re going to play against before you go into a game like your Trent example if you know you’re going to play against him like on football manager you’ve got Liverpool coming up you can pick your team before hand to counter it on fc24 you can’t do that so it kind of defeats the purpose
Don’t think I’ve had worse packs. So shit gonna open my 85+ player from getting level 14 and hopefully redeem all the poor ones, mad Nike and season objectives did me dirty
I’ve felt quite demotivated to play with some of the bugs and stuff like today I spent trying to get to div 5, I got to one game off I was up 3-0 the guy rage quits but it comes up your game is under review and then it just glitches and freezes and gave me a loss
All current evolutions expire before the new season right? Therefore we can’t tell what evos will be good with future possible evos
