Omg! I’ve been using font cloud for a few years now and love it, but I always hated having to open each folder… I never thought to search for the otf fonts and just uploading them all from the search.. you just made my day with that trick. 😁
Welcome back! You were missed. In my prior life as a graphics designer, I have over 10 k on a back up hard drive only installing the fonts that I use now. This program would have been vey helping back then. I doubt they would let me upload all the fonts lol. Going forward I will be using to help me select the right font for my projects. I love this!! Since I'm gonna be 60 next year & have 15 yr old glasses (newer ones broke) I absolutely love being able to see them BIG!! Especially the extra goodies at the bottom that I always forget are there. My craft stuff has been packed up awhile so I haven't been able to use it yet, but awhile back I was lucky enough to snag the all access pass for $59/yr. Can't wait til the new house is finally ready so I can really dig in to CF & incorporate it into my crafting. I love CF soooo much. Y'all are like the Amazon of crafting, anything a person could want, y'all have it! 🥰 Does FontCloud load up only CF fonts or also the other fonts that computers come with?
Awww, thanks Debadoo! I'm so glad you snagged such a deal and that you love CF as much as I do! You can definitely add other fonts to CF, but I believe it only applies to fonts that you have downloaded, not fonts that were already included on your computer. Hope this helps! ---Becky
You can upload any fonts to Font Cloud as long as they are OTF or TTF. As long as you are signed into your Creative Fabrica account you'll be able to use it from any laptop! 😊

Ok Becky, I am confused on how to do this on my computer. I have a Mac computer (old & did I mention I’m pretty much computer illiterate) . Also I download everything to my drop box(I started with embrilliance & embroidery) I am now trying to add silloutte & sublimation ( I bought a cameo 4 a couple of years ago so I could do appliqué easier but didn’t really learn how to use it) so then I purchased the business addition of silloutte & don’t really even know how to use the basics). So --do you think you could take me through the steps of down loading fonts to silloutte on my computer & Dropbox? Thank you for your help. I keep trying to find all your classes on creative fabrica to learn about how to use the silloutte but I don’t know how to go to the site to follow you. Yup sorry pretty lost but very willing to learn-thanks again, bevyjean

Hey Debbie, OTF is for Open Type Font (TTF is True Type Font). I'm not sure that there is a huge difference with most crafting software (Cricut or Silhouette), but just that OTF is more robust for designing. ---Becky

Unfortunately there is not an easy way to transfer them if your computer already died. I would recommend getting an external hard drive. 😊
