today's tip is reallly really really sweet
This really hits…. For a long time I’ve wanted to work at Disney, but I came to the realization a few years ago that my style wouldn’t really be a match for them, nor would I be truly happy pushing myself to work in that style… it’s tough because I know this, and yet it’s hard to let that dream go….
I , along with many other consumers want to see new styles. Maybe its not a bad idea to work on your style and put it out in the world
I really want to work at Disney too. Making a comic/tv show. Maybe we’ll work together and make a new style there😊
I've been dealing with this A LOT over the years...naturally I gravitate towards Creature Design, but everyone always tells me to do other things, and not just creatures. Now, I love to design props, human characters, mechs, and everything else in between, but Creature design, especially more intense, scary creature Design is my jam!!! People always want me to stray away from creatures, but thats naturally what I love.
The fact that you've found what you love doing most is a great achievement in itself! Lots of artist just pick something and go with it, but you know you love creature design and that is awesome. Stick with it!! Good luck😊
