    Remember to find your limits so you don’t over work BUT also understand your potential.

    I can't do any serious art learning when I'm tired, honestly. So the way I beat that, is to draw first thing in the morning. I get up at 5:00 AM and draw for 2-3 hours before work. That way, nothing can interfere and I have my best energy for my own goals. I think that's still a way to excel, because who in their right mind gets up at 5:00 AM?! 🤣

    I think it depends on your internal makeup. some people love drawing so much that they can draw forever without getting as drained as others. I am not one of those so I have to actually push myself to draw. I think I enjoy drawing 20% while 80% is a drag lol. some people say draw what you love but that doesnt apply to me since its not the subject in particular that makes me draw, its the process and result and currently as I am still learning, the process is very draining mentally. maybe one day who knows

      @@BobbyChiu yes, its a tricky line, between limit and potential, one I'm trying to figure out.

    But, wouldn't a more reasonable advice be to rest when possible? Being tired and keeping up with creativity is really draining, especially on crunch mode before deadlines... So i don't know how pushing yourself when tired is helping?... Do tell more how that works. :

      I agree as well. Quality resting allows for better output. I think what Bobby wanted to say was, that it is an opportunity to put in more hours than everyone else as they are 'resting'. I assume this philosophy could have come from the hustle culture.
      I used to do the hustle culture, but I found out that it was just merely an escape for my painful past. Now, I show love to myself, eat more delicious food, smell aromatic candles, and stop hustling with 5am gym and protein shakes as well as long hour studying. My output has never been better! (I also feel my art is more genuine)

      @@BobbyChiu Ahh, so that is how you meant it :D Yeah it would be weird if you said, yes overwork and push your limits! XD Thing is it sounds unreasonable but I actually have colleagues with that mindset over the rest and take care of yourself one. But yeah, glad it was in the better sense ^^

    You can be 01% more tired than anyone else
    Is our next goal 😁 utube now needs short clips to post regularly for utubers to keep their algorithm alive and feed the beast...
    Just pretend you are tired and don't make a big fuss about it
    Bobby said and did million correct things and has the right to have a tiny flaw from time to time, like everyone of us?

    I’m sorry Bobby but that does mean that no matter how hard I work, how many hours i practice study learn and focus on drawing with intention it will be worthless at the end if i don’t have the potential? 🥹😭

    • @BobbyChiu
      @BobbyChiu  Год назад

      Everyone has the potential. If you have tools to make art and a brain, then you have the potential.
