is it only my perception, that Mary is singing very similar to Sierra? And Hugh Panaro is the best Phantom I've ever heard in my life. He does something magical with his voice, it is truly magnetizing.

Had I been there and clueless enough to not be in the front row, I'm pretty sure this video would include either me swooning behind the screen...or busting through it, hypnotized by the golden voice of Hugh Panaro (the actual Phantom dressed as a normal person) crooning my favorite music on the planet.

OMG THEY ARE THE BEST!!! I saw them in feburary and I couldn't stop crying... They are just so perfect!!!! I love his voice so much... He's just perfect Phantom... Amazaing.. And Christine too.. Fabulous!!!: )
You are so lucky to have seen him live!! I'd give ANYTHING for him to go back to the role!!! I'd get on a plane the second I heard the news and buy a ticket for every single show!! He IS the Phantom.
When it comes to Peter Joback ad Hugh Panaro, i just can't get used to their voices since Ramin Karimloo, Wilkinson, etc had these deep demanding voices and these two are soft and sometimes menaical. I just can't get used to their portrayals of the phantom.
I like him too. For the same reason I ADORE Michael Crawford and Hugh Panaro (the two actors BORN for the role). I love the haunting, clear tenor voice thare all share. Maybe it's because Michael originated the role, but that kind of tone/style is very "Phantomy" to my ears.
Is it me or is Mary having trouble with the high notes. Her voice sounds a little weak but then again I'm so use to hearing Sierra's amazing voice. Love Hugh though. He's warmed up on me
Ashton Eva she's also outside, so she isn't getting the resonance that you get singing in a theatre, some of the sound always gets carried away outside. But she's singing magnificently. No weakness at all, a clear, pure voice with no strain.
They're also not in a fully staged production. Recital style performance is hard to make as convincing, because you don't have all the set and props to help. But they're two great singers.

God! Just imagine if they combined Hugh's and Ramin's voice! They both do certain things with their voices that are just incredible!
