Thorguy He stopped himself and, because of this, he had to push himself after that. 0:47 watch his hands carefully. You can clearly see he's trying to hold onto the wall, to slow himself down.
he could obviously not have to push himself. as you can see when he started going fast he stopped himself causing him to have to push himself along. if he kept going he wouldve went too fast an along those small slopes he wouldve flew off. its lik those water slides where youre literally going down the sithe slide.wd40 would cause an accident
No it needs a lubricant like grease you use wd40 to break things loose that are rusty or gummed up. Wd40 will cause it to rust more if you use it as a lubricant because it will attract more moisture
Probably the worst slide in the entire world. They should make a spray system to spray WD-40 on the rollers every now and then. That would make them alot smoother obviously.
Charlie Dunbar | I couldn't see myself enjoying anything if I had to keep pushing myself along. I'd enjoy the view much more if it consistently moved on it's own. .

There's a story that the term "roller coaster" comes from a roller slide a little bit like this that operated for a few years in the 19th century in Haverhill, Massachusetts. (Personally, I doubt that is the real origin, but the slide was real. Instead of cylindrical rollers, it used little wheels on the track, and it was inside of a three-story building where it curled around a roller rink.)
That is super dangerous. Some idiot could fall off. If you fell forward, something like a finger might get stuck between the bars. Also it seems to frustrating considering you have to push yourself half the time.
The rides too flat and the rollers are too resistant. I thought something was off when you were able to stand on the rollers while positioning yourself on the mat. That and the fact that you had to keep pulling the sides to maintain.
Angelina Plays c: yeah I kinda do: the ride is fully enclosed, seems to stop every 10 feet and is so loud that no animal would go near it. Don't worry, Bambi is safe, lol
Tbh,that actually looks kinda fun,but also terrifying because it's right next to the woods, that's probably why there was a ladder half way through, just in case something is there
Hi Wa | I couldn't see myself enjoying anything if I had to keep pushing myself along. I'd enjoy the scenery much more if it constantly and consistently moved on it's own.
Definitely doesn't have enough of an incline in relation to the friction. It's a good concept; just a little weak on the execution. (I could say the same about the video itself.)
Why do people tend to complain about the bad side of this? We get to experience something uncommon. Isn't that the point (everyone has different views)? Edit: If it's troublesome because you have to do it manually, why not just stay in your home rather than traveling.
Haoto - Anime on Piano Not really, it’s a slide, you’re suppose to slide on it, not pull yourself along it, other wise it would be a pull. This slide is just one big hunk of disappointment, it reeks of lack of maintenance with all the squeaking. No one will have a good experience with this.
You would definitely need a system where you could plumb some lubrication lines to the rollers, and the rotation of the rollers will draw the lubricant through.
Everyone saying it's boring, but dude, I wish you moved the camera to look at the scene at least because the scene looks really nice right now after a rain :0 Also it's slow, but there was no security or go guy to time you to go, so it's probably on purpose (doesn't seem fun when you had to keep pulling yourself forward with your hands which is sad) Hope it was cheap, thanks sharing :)
City council meeting: "ok everyone, there's 2 million left in the budget for the state park, we can use it to fund a wildlife protection program, or we can use it to build a long pointless slide made out of rollers. Ok, let's vote..."
they're usually made for little kids, not a full grown man. I remember how much fun I had with these in Okinawa, the trick would be to squat down on your feet and push yourself along to add more speed though not pushing was fine too
You know the kid who had this slide idea, stole it from the child labor factory he was a part of that featured multiple rolling conveyor beds for the factory products he helped toil to make.
Oooh it's like being in a suit case in the airport
Never have I ever
"SUITCASE SIMULATOR
THE GAME"
Never have I ever played Suitcase Simulator
now I wish I was a suitcase
Airport security: the ride
lol good one :)
daxoze I literally think that every time I travel XD
Hahaha
More like Fed-EX package the ride.
LMAO
Would be cool if motorized at some points to keep you fast
Would be cool if he didn't stop himself...
Petidani0330 pretty sure he was pushing him self
Thorguy He stopped himself and, because of this, he had to push himself after that. 0:47 watch his hands carefully. You can clearly see he's trying to hold onto the wall, to slow himself down.
Petidani0330 idk sort of looks like. he is trying to speed up
Macel Ortiz you know what I'm thinking... LEAF BLOWER!🙌

DooMMasteR Hahahahaahah
DooMMasteR I was just thinking about that ahaha
Exacly what I was thinking!!! They should take 2, one for each side!
You just misspelled 'someone'
This was so frustrating I have no words
Katherine Butterfield exactly. Why would hr needed to slow down using his hands??
I almost threw my phone.
Agree
He could have replaced the audio with music instead of that
Very agree
needs some WD-40
he could obviously not have to push himself. as you can see when he started going fast he stopped himself causing him to have to push himself along. if he kept going he wouldve went too fast an along those small slopes he wouldve flew off. its lik those water slides where youre literally going down the sithe slide.wd40 would cause an accident

Freimopp777 loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Good job copying a comment and putting it into your own words Freimopp777
I don't think that's how it's supposed to work someone needs to grease that thing
Gui nho k
Now he knows how his groceries feel
Probably the worst slide in the entire world. They should make a spray system to spray WD-40 on the rollers every now and then. That would make them alot smoother obviously.
Well ok there's like nothing to see though, just some small tunnels and trees and stuff.
Charlie Dunbar | I couldn't see myself enjoying anything if I had to keep pushing myself along. I'd enjoy the view much more if it consistently moved on it's own. .
Kelly Renee Yeah exactly
Exacly what I was thinking!!! They should take 2, one for each side!

Longest slide the the most boring and crappy slide ever
DragonRage 1 you are coll
DragonRage I know right
Dragon this a scenic ride, not a friggin amusement
DragonRage 1 on the contrary, u can enjoy the nature around
This looks shit.
I bet that was pretty awesome, back when the rollers actually worked
Meh. Too fast for you?
Thanks for putting this on RUclips. I live in the USA and never imagined anything like this ever existing.
get it
it's made with "rollers"
and it's a coaster
"roller" coaster
I'll stop
VS16 i get it.

VS16 it's actually a slide.
Grease the rollers- add a nylon board to bottom of the pad..ZOOM
VS16 you must ride yourself of these puns.
That was so anti climatic i saw looked at the video and thought OH YES THIS LOOKS SATISFYING but... no it was dog shit
Yeah, my thoughts exactly! This had so much potential, but ultimately so disappointing.
This was quite the fall, yes.
I *saw looked* ehh, seems wrong
People say this looks frustrating but really it would be nice to slide through nature even if slow
You mean...a walk?

Me at the airport:
The most crappy slide ever
Spike exactly thank you
that looks crap and u keep stopping yourself for some reason?
Simon Toft it goes too fast and he might fall
I don't think he's stopping himself. Looks like there's not enough of an incline for you to keep going.
Simon Toft they should add wheels to the seat, the slide doesn't even look that long, should be longer...
This is a scenic ride. Besides, if he goes to fast he'll fall.
Simon Toft idk how you see it as stopping himself lmao, he was clearly pulling himself to move
Anyone else getting annoyed that he keeps slowing himself down? What’s the point!?
Uncle Rico No thanks.... maybe ask your mother?
Sophie D Games he's afraid I guess
Uncle Rico wow, you sick piece of dog shiz...
The rollers weren't moving smart ass
It’s quit dangerous and I’d slow myself too
Omg this must be what the super long roller slide in yokai watch 2 must be based off of
Roller slide in Tabayama Japan 247 meter long
you keep stopping on it though.
John kuziomko, wow, but it would have been better if they put wheels on it.
Katie white ya the pad I was sitting on would rub on side of the slide stopping me.
+John kuziomko, oh so you went there?
Yes that's me in the video
his butt must be very hurt
That is super dangerous. Some idiot could fall off. If you fell forward, something like a finger might get stuck between the bars. Also it seems to frustrating considering you have to push yourself half the time.
That's different. Could do with some oil on the rollers to make it faster lol
The woods were scary I could imagine a cheetah coming up like hey 😂
Hannah Baker there are no cheetahs in Japan and cheetahs don't really live in the forest...
Cheesoos Kryst oh my bad 😂
What about leopards?
Pandas maybe???
Hannah Baker ....cheetahs don't live in forests you idiot
The rides too flat and the rollers are too resistant. I thought something was off when you were able to stand on the rollers while positioning yourself on the mat. That and the fact that you had to keep pulling the sides to maintain.
Musique enfant3
That was waaaaay less cooler than I thought
am i the only one that was so fascinated with the roller things at the airport when i was younger?
the location of the slide looks very dangerous and their might be wild creatures living there 😯😯
The Meme Master of Cancertopia do it then
Christiana Golbrock wild creatures live everywhere
Angelina Plays c: How, exactly could a deer get hurt? The ride is fully enclosed.
Angelina Plays c: yeah I kinda do: the ride is fully enclosed, seems to stop every 10 feet and is so loud that no animal would go near it. Don't worry, Bambi is safe, lol
Angelina Plays c: the plural of deer is deer
So basically a dry waterslide.
i think its actually really cool, like not a scary ride or anything but a way to look at the scenery in your own time
Tbh,that actually looks kinda fun,but also terrifying because it's right next to the woods, that's probably why there was a ladder half way through, just in case something is there
That looks so boring
Ewan S It's a scenic ride, not a fast one like they have at amusement parks.
Probably easier to walk up the hill
i can just imagine the rollers pinching my skin
The idea of a roller slide is better than the reality by the looks of it
Not a very good slide if you have to keep pulling yourself along.
Why do people tend to complain about the bad side of this? We get to experience something uncommon. Isn't that the point (everyone has different views)?
Edit: If it's troublesome because you have to do it manually, why not just stay in your home rather than traveling.
because everyone has different views
Dumb weeb
But why aren't they respecting it. That's what I'm pointing out.
do you mean respect for the man who filmed and uploaded this or for the existence of the slide?
Haoto - Anime on Piano Not really, it’s a slide, you’re suppose to slide on it, not pull yourself along it, other wise it would be a pull. This slide is just one big hunk of disappointment, it reeks of lack of maintenance with all the squeaking. No one will have a good experience with this.
Wow the scenery 11/10 looks so peaceful
That's the singularly most unsatisfying thing I've seen all week.
disgrace. He never even not normally accelerates
Ikt he never even not accelerate
Looks boring and you can barely keep sliding without stoping.
We had a roller slide in Elementary school.... it was the best slide we had.
This is by far my favorite b&m
1:13 keep paddling!
A! B! A! B! A! B!
meh... Nice view tho. Poorly engineered.
Thanks to this ride I can finally know how my carry-on feels at the airport
I liked it , looks fun. Idk what other people were expecting
worst slide ever
Thank u for bringing back the memories when I was 5 with my dad
1:38
That moment when you expect a zombie to come out from nowhere
This is literally amazing!
In Singapore, there's a shorter version of this slide at a park. Not sure if there are others in Singapore but that's the only one I've seen.
I've been on one a bit shorter than that but its SO much fun to go on! The one i went on was oiled so it slid down so fast.
I'm watching this while sleeping, yeah Imma go back to sleep now
"im sorry the old taylor cant come to the phone right now"
"Why?"
"Oh"
"Cause she fell of a roller slide"
Imagine getting stuck on this and a person coming behind you
Hey. This coaster is MANUAL! Wahoo!!!
Boogie Down!!
The adventure that your suitcase takes to get to your plane
Literally the only true "roller" coaster.
Theres slides like those all over Japan. The camera man just stopped himself too often
Wow I expected that to go alot better!
This wouldve gone fine if he didnt keep stopping with his hands.
This looks fun , and scary at the same time
You could easily find few people being stuck together in the middle of nowhere on that one slide doing You know what ! 😆
Awesome!! Pretty dang cool.
if they rebuilt or redo that what be a bomb ass slide
He was literally dancing because his arms were like crazy!
He must be tryna clean the rails 😂
I bet that was a blast when it first opened
I can’t believe you traveled up that fucking mountain for that!
That is so cool wish they had those here thanks for the video
You would definitely need a system where you could plumb some lubrication lines to the rollers, and the rotation of the rollers will draw the lubricant through.
It looks pretty fun for me though! Maybe because I'm not really a thrill seeker so this looks pretty fine for me haha
Everyone saying it's boring, but dude, I wish you moved the camera to look at the scene at least because the scene looks really nice right now after a rain :0
Also it's slow, but there was no security or go guy to time you to go, so it's probably on purpose (doesn't seem fun when you had to keep pulling yourself forward with your hands which is sad) Hope it was cheap, thanks sharing :)
Walking down the stairs looks like it would be more fun.
it actually looks pretty fun lmao
I've always wondered what those Rollie things in airport security would be like as a ride
This should be called The Anaesthetist. Because you're gonna need a good one.
that slide seems like it needs a renovation
it keeps on stopping
Wow...I thought this was more Roller Coaster Tycoon...It's just The secret life of a Parcel.
When I saw it had rollers I thought it would of bin fast af
I am going crazy with your hands!
City council meeting: "ok everyone, there's 2 million left in the budget for the state park, we can use it to fund a wildlife protection program, or we can use it to build a long pointless slide made out of rollers. Ok, let's vote..."
they're usually made for little kids, not a full grown man. I remember how much fun I had with these in Okinawa, the trick would be to squat down on your feet and push yourself along to add more speed though not pushing was fine too
Wow. Looks like great engineering and planning.
This looks less fun than i had imagined it was going to be.
This looks like fun!
Damn. When I go on a ride the last thing I want to be is the propulsion device.
Triflow > wd40
Haven't been on or seen a roller slide since I was young..pretty neat!
Was anyone else just like
START RIDING ALREADY
You know the kid who had this slide idea, stole it from the child labor factory he was a part of that featured multiple rolling conveyor beds for the factory products he helped toil to make.
Little do you know, this is actually an Amazon test facility for new a new package transport system.
Wow this Roler Coaster is on a ROLL
I can see the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz mumbling "Oil Can"!
You know, if that ride wasnt so cheap, they could add some motors in it to make it more fun!
