I realized that using Rock Slide in this battle did enough damage to compensate for the slower max meter charge time so I decided to do that. I was originally gonna try beating this boss without Lv 50 mons or any max move investment but the lack of helpers in this power spot turned it into an RNG grind and I was running out of mushrooms. Regardless, I still found it to be a very satisfying solo.

Is It possible without mushroons?

@ I think it’s theoretically possible with Snow (if you use Gmax Lapras) or Fog (if you use Gmax Gengar) if the boss uses Ancient Power far more often than its other charge move
