@ I think it’s theoretically possible with Snow (if you use Gmax Lapras) or Fog (if you use Gmax Gengar) if the boss uses Ancient Power far more often than its other charge move

@@danielj5481 Yes, it does. But I actually learned recently that it’s actually optimal to use charge moves if you can beat the boss without using max guard/spirit.

Go straight fast moves with pokemons like Lapras or Blastoise. Only Metagross' Meteor Mash or Exca's Rock slide chunk Articuno enough to be worth using

@@dayuum5256 Thx! Unfortunately, Niantic just removed the self mega boost glitch that was required to solo both Dialga forms. I actually had something cool planned against the regular form bc it would’ve been easier than the origin form lol.

@@Ruthless-eg9gl I only used one mushroom and I reset the lobby 6 times iirc. And yeah, I beat it in my first try when I got the right moveset.

@ All you have to do is swipe once when you see the 3 lines above your mon’s head. Large attacks (AoE) are undodgeable, so don’t worry about those. If it makes you feel any better, there were server issues during Max Monday (ie: dodges didn’t work) so I had to wait until 7 pm to do my solo.

@@xRage7243 we have to swipe once only right? Also I was facing issue when I had to dodge twice to make it happen like left & right

@ Yeah, that’s right. That bug is very common when there are server issues so you’re fine.

True, it was pretty unlucky RNG but glad it still worked out in the end

@ Party power duos are probably different bc it’s actually optimal to rejoin at the same time so both players have party power active at all times. I also found that it makes it less likely for one players party meter to reset after rejoining. It would be much harder for both players to rejoin fast due to the rejoins needing to be coordinated, but thankfully most the duos aren’t anywhere near as tight as most T5 solos nowadays. I’ll be sure to bring this up in the in-depth version when it comes.

@@uuniverse Sadly, no. But it wasn’t a good IV anyway. Kinda funny how I got good enough RNG to win the solo but not to catch the encounter lol.

@@countryzbanimations It was still a win. A glitch called Shrodinger’s ending happened (you get a losing screen if you win with exactly zero seconds left, but you still get the encounter and the rewards after clicking on the gym again).

@ i thought primal Groudon has way more Dps than Lucario. That’s what the internet says

@ It actually has more TDO, but its DPS isn’t fast enough to solo Dialga-O (even in sunny weather) If you check Gamepress’s DPS spreadsheet, you can see that Mega Lucario actually has one of the highest DPS in the game
