Strangely enough, i am hopeful. I think that Trump has ignited a fire in people, they are tired of lies, incompetence and his grifting. I bet there will be a high turn out and it will be a disaster for the GOP, of epic proportions. I think America is waking up.

Seth's kids dressed as wasps was the best part of my day
They're cute though of course yellow stripes are found on bees (or perhaps yellow jackets), not wasps.
Besides the color scheme this was soooo gosh darn adorable to see oh my. My heart melted after the horrific stuff the now former president has said this was a joy to see
As someone whose father resembled Trump, every time I see a loving father with his kids I cry because it's so beautiful. Thank you Seth for that lovely ending.
I also had a bad father, and was born developmentally disabled (ADHD + autism).
It is extremely hard for me to tell good people from bad people. I am easy to trick.
So I am generally skeptical of people I don't know, especially celebrities.
But I noticed one important clue about Seth: his staff on the show all lovingly make fun of him.
When he has guests on who were writers under him at SNL, like Bill Hader, they talk about playing pranks on him, and him responding calmly and kindly.
Any man in a position of power who doesn't mind the people under him making fun of him or teasing him is nothing like Trump or my father.
I do truly believe Seth is a good man, and a good father.
@@janeeyre1990 Same here! I had a father very similar to Trump who would always put people down (his favorite name for me was You Stupid) and I am a very bad judge of character. However there are certain people you just know are good and kind. I have had the good fortune to know several of them and feel very lucky. People around my father pretended to like him (money has that effect) but he died unloved, no one was sad except maybe his last child who was too young to know what he was like. My regret is how he wasted his life and his talents being a mean piece of garbage.
This may be my favorite "A Closer Look in the Attic" episode yet. The jokes were savage AF and sooo on point, the "Thorn Birds" kept me chortling, and those are...bar none...the cutest damn wasps EVER! Love you guys!!

Seth’s show has felt effortlessly funny during this crisis. Something about this more relaxed, informal format really jives with him. In some ways I really wish late night shows and SNL didn’t return to their traditional formats when the pandemic is finally behind us.

I remember when trump got elected I was 16. The day I went back to school all my high school teachers were crying and it was a weird sad vibe. You could feel it in the air. At the time some students thought they were being melodramatic. I come from a pretty liberal town in Michigan tho, Ann Arbor. Being black and seeing white supremacists start to come to the forefront (cuz they were always there), I knew someone like him after our first black president could only spell trouble. Heck I even shed a tear or two, and with the state of things today it's impossible to not shed a little more 🤦🏽♀️
I am really sorry that you have to suffer that/this. I'm aware every day that I am so lucky to be a white Canadian, and that my black American friends are always at risk. :(
Young people like you give me optimism. We often take a step back after a huge step forwards but let’s hope your vote and everyone else’s will rid us of President Chump.

The F-35 program has been a multi-billion dollar boondoggle that should have never been approved, seriously operating and support costs have gone well over $1 trillion dollars, that's 14 times the lifetime cost of the F-22 which it was designed to be a cheaper replacement for. Finally aircraft are always upgraded with new technology, in the last ten years the C-5, F-16, F-15, A-10 and C-130s have all had new technologies added to them to keep them relevant.

The fact is that the *_technology_* is not old. The airframe designs have not changed much, but the electronics, engines, control systems and targeting and data sharing systems have been steadily upgraded. The F-15 C & D models are considerably superior to the original F-15 - same with the F-18 E Super Hornet compared to the original. These jets cost a lot of money - they are designer to stay in service for decades. The F-35 is expected to be a front line mainstay until at least 2060.
