I'm from the Uk and have just returned from a Tennessee road trip holiday. I hadn't seen or heard of the brand. I quickly noticed literally every I would say third person were wearing Hey Dudes!
Huge thanks for checking out the video And sharing your experience! Did seeing so many convince you to get a pair of Hey Dudes while on your road trip?🤣. I’m sure they were also selling in lots of shops when’re you visited.
These shoes are definitely the best replacement for slippers. Easy to slip on, comfy, and no laces involved. I just think the name is silly and people are too judgmental at first appearances but it can be appealing! Just wear what you want and who cares, eventually it might start trending one day
Great review. I just bought a pair today. I agree with everything you said. I got them primarily for hanging out on the back deck. My only negative is that the laces are something that I am going to have to get used to.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! Hanging out on the deck sounds perfect for a pair of Hey Dudes. And I understand about the laces but you can use them to adjust the tightness of the shoe.
I dig mine. I work during the week, so I only wear them on the weekends. I think they are going to last a very long time. I got the Wallys? Moc toe. I've recently machine washed them on eco warm/delicate cycle and they came out fine. I think they are over priced at $60-$70, but I am very happy with them. I would just like to pay around $30 tax, title, and license. I live in Kansas and I started seeing so many people at the convenience store, grocery store, etc...wearing them and it piqued my curiosity. When I saw them on other people, I got the feeling that they had just finished a long shift at work and put those on out of comfort, convenience, and ease of use to run errands after work. If I'm not wearing work boots, I'm wearing something comfortable and easy, so I got a pair. Glad I did. I will buy more, but I want my next pair to be a thicker, warmer material. I think the pair I bought were designed for summer and I've seen some online that look almost like a wool upper...Anyways, sorry for the long winded comment. I think the pair you bought look great on you amd you rock them well with different styles. Thank you for the video!
@@Mr.Peanut1986 Huge thanks for this 👆🏾 comment and for checking out the video! I think you hit the nail right on the head. Hey Dude’s are a great after work, Saturday afternoon, beachside shoe. I’ve also put a few miles on mine walking tourist areas and they performed well.
@@Mr.Peanut1986 Hey I also wanted to mention that I think $60-70 is too much also. I paid between $39-50 for mine. I don’t know if you have a shoe carnival near you (they’re also online) but if so they regularly rotate on and off sale. I think $40-45 is fair. Again thanks for commenting!
@@fitnessnbeer9835 Shoe Carnival? Right on! Thank you. I'm not sure if we have one around here, but like you said, they have an online store. I appreciate it.
That’s what’s up👍🏾. I didn’t see many brothas rockin Hey Dudes at first but now I see a few around. I enjoy Hey Dudes, they’re a casual low maintenance option. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I'm a lineman, I wear thorogoods for work and hey dude's when I'm not working. Hey dude's have a similar toe box to thorogoods, which are moc toe boots. They're very comfortable and great for casual wear!
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! I’m sure the Hey Dudes feel great after a full day in work boots. Agreed, great for casual wear.
I bought a pair, after hearing how comfortable they are. They are comfortable, and a they have a low cost. After a month of wearing them daily for running errands. They were no longer comfortable and my feet and knees were starting to get really sore and hurt. Now I know to spend 50 more bucks for some running shoes that will last me a longer time.
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! Bum deal. I’ve put quite a few miles on mine and they’ve held up okay. Durability hasn’t been an issue so far but my usage doesn’t necessarily equate to a month of daily wear. Even so one month is entirely too short and they should perform better. I notice that eventually all of my shoe soles go kinda flat but again shouldn’t happen that quickly.
They are wonderful beater shoes for casual wear when you don't wanna get your nice shoes dirty. It's not very durable, but it offers good underfoot cushion.
Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! Yes I think Hey Dudes are comfortable and fun. Also not to pricey. They have their limits but with having in my opinion.
I like crocs😂 but they make my feet sweaty. These look okay. I think he was exaggerating. I think they look better than most “boat” style shoes people wear. I got rid of All my Nikes and jordans because they are awful for your toes and your feet. Currently wearing mid top new balance 560s and I take them on vacation regularly and don’t get blisters or discomfort on my feet! I’m drawn to hoka now because of my spouse liking them a lot but these don’t look bad. Dad shoes are the way to go. I would probably wear these to do chores outside real quick and then come back inside.
Yo big thanks for checking out this video! I’ve heard that about Crocs before but I usually wear socks which helps. With Crocs it’s definitely a convenience thing more so than a comfort thing. I do like Hokas and find them pretty lightweight for such big clunky looking shoe soles. I’m learning there’s lots of great shoes out there if you’re willing to 💰 .
I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to put in an insole. Of course you’d be doubling up because the current insole is removable. Big thanks for checking g out the video and asking!
That’s’ crazy. When I’ve order them it’s taken less than a week but obviously it depends on where you’re located. I truly hope that you’ve received your shoes before you get to this response!! Big thanks for checking out the video and asking!
At first glance it looks like your comment says “I’ve got a stupid wife”🤣 But I know you meant wide*. And yes, 100% agreed they’re very comfortable and I could care less what anyone thinks of my Hey Dudes. Huge thanks for checking out the video and commenting!!
I bought a pair on sale for $35. because i was curious to what they were. i would never pay full price for these. they are junk. Bottom line, junk. They are kind of comfortable for a minute until your feet start sweating. The soul is literally a thin piece or rubber. They are vary hot, non breathable and will make your feet sweat. Like i said, they are comfortable for a min, until the thin soul packs down and there is nothing left between your feet and the ground. The only thing they have going for them is they are very lightweight. But what is that worth? Not a shoe for adults.. maybe a child.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. Great example of how much experiences can vary. I’ve enjoyed my Hey Dudes but admittedly I haven’t worn my down, even though I’ve put lots of miles on them. I usually wear them casually. Also I usually wear sock so sweat hasn’t been an issue. But yeah if the shoe sole goes flat they’d be trash
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! I hear ya but I don’t think the design is so different than other beach style brands like Sanuk and they’re definitely comfortable to wear. As for the name, I don’t think it’s so bad 🤷🏾♂️. This is why it’s worth having the conversation, to share different opinions 👍🏾
