Modifying power button LED's on the Xbox original

In this video I walk you through how to replace the LED's on in the power button of the Xbox original. Its quite an easy process as long as your familiar with soldering.

The LEDs you are using? are they 3mm? just want to make sure in case of clearance.

Hey there, Are these LEDs powered by 12v or 5v? Do you need any kind of resistance adjustments or can you pop on any LED cause the board is already designed for LEDs? If not what kind of LEDs do you recommend?

Hi there, what did you use to remove the old solder? Was that just your iron and a desoldering pump? I always have trouble with these boards, particularly the early 1.0 boards like you have here. The primary color's positive pad on the back of the board almost always lifts up and away on me, leaving a surface that almost looks oxidized, which the solder won't stick to.

shouldnt the new primary color blue be put to amber as it is a softmod and the default color is amber
