Have been eyeing up the M4 since they came out. They are to be like the M5 just smaller my dealer said. Really nice tractors probably my next tractor unless they come out with something else. They still make M7060 but I think they could be taken off the market if they are successful with the M4. Got a 2018 M7060 love it. It also has the rpm button works great. Wish the 7060 had a few more things but I still like the tractor a lot. Great video thank you for sharing your information and tractor.
Hello, those m7060s are great tractors and that was actually what we were going to buy but ended up seeing the m4. The biggest difference I think is just the cab size and some minor creature comforts. The m4 also weighs a touch more. I think the engines are the same with very little difference and trans was just the “hd” version. My dealer said they were going to continue production of the 7060 but I think you’re right and in a few yrs will do away with them.
If you buy a m4 or probably any kubota you better have them check the hydraulic pressure, it is suppose to be around 2900 and they are sending them out set at 1600, just checked mine and the dealer had 6 on his yard that were set at 1600, crazy kubota, mine has 160hrs on it and is for sale
Thanks for the look-around. Debated this over the Kioti RX7320. A long hard decision .... went with the Kioti instead. Sorry ..... no turning back .... right decision was made and for a lot less $$$$.
Congrats on the new tractor! They look like nice equipment and if you’re like me you’ll wish you would have bought it sooner. I’m sure it will serve you well.
There is a mechanical lever next to the operators seat on the left side, forgot to show you guys in the video. You just pull up on it and it locks it in.
Hey Seth, I haven’t used the round baler behind it yet. Our ground here is very hilly so that plays a big factor in it. I think it would be on the smaller side of it but if the ground is pretty flat I’d think it would handle it pretty well. I would definitely leave the loader on and have the tires filled for additional weight to stabilize. Blake
Well it wasn’t really a clutch problem but I think they did have some issues with that de-clutch button at first. I don’t know if kubota redesigned but I haven’t had any issues since.
In my research I looked at Mahindra, I liked what they offered and was ready to move forward. I called the dealer I planned to use and he told me they quit carrying the models similar size to M4 due to Exhaust system issue. That turned me off Mahindra. I'm new to Tractors and didn't want to start with something with a known issue .
Wait...1:44...how that broke after freaking 44h, and you can shift gears without it??? It need to last minimum 500-1000!!! How is that good tractor then!!!
Hello there and yeah it had an electrical switch failure but luckily it had no bearing on how the tractor operated. Just used the clutch as normal. It is just there as a feature, that being said yeah it was kind of a bummer that it had any issue at all but sometimes new parts can fail. I will put up another 1 year review here pretty soon. Hopefully we’ll get several thousand hrs before any real issues!
Hi Blake, great content ! much needed info, as a perspective buyer!

Where is the MFWD engagement since the standard model does not have the electro-engagement?

Are you able to get a measurement from the front of the l
Bucket to the 3pt arms? Thank you!
Well I didn’t have my bucket on but it’s about 14’
thank you! good info
Thanks for the review. Thinking of getting one in the future.

No problem, let me know if you have any questions about it. Thanks
What would this cost me, tractor and loader. I have a b2650 to trade.
Mike Zahnow well they definitely aren’t getting any cheaper. They are about $50k depending on everything you get and where you buy.
Does yours have limited throttle in 6th gear and if so how do you turn it off?
No, not in 6th gear. If it’s in 12th it has a speed limiter at 26mph.
@@blakeperkins4133 mine will only do 24.7
@@witcherfarms6811 hmmm… you’d think they would all be the same.
@@blakeperkins4133 it shows up a little light under the rpm gage
Looks like a nice tractor. Do you pull a baler with it? Wondering if I can get away with making 4x5 rounds rounds with it.

seems like they have had a lot of problems with that clutch

Mahindra is best ❤️
