I have found myself a compass point to look out for when Amir and his family return back from one of their long nature jaunts collecting firewood, plants or nuts etc. You always see it when looking out to their panoramic view from their cave. To the left in the distant hills are 3 peaks, one a prominent one. They stand alone from anything else. I am always looking for this when they return home...mesmerizing.
Amir's family lives 10km south of Lordegan city and 1km west of Sardasht-e town. I found them on Google Earth. The Peren family live very near on the flat plain near the town.

Great Family. Sometimes, we, in Western countries, complain about "things." These people wash in cold water, do not sit in comfy chairs, have to put up with cold weather outside. No complaints. They seem to be happy with what they have. And they have each other.
One suggestion, solar lights would help with the night darkness.
and head torches - battery operaated ones. they need a hook in the ceiling of the room for that light bar and for the lantern and garden solar lights all around

If you soak the eggplant in cold water for 10 minutes they will fry up more crisp and taste better.
And in salt water takes the bitterness out of them!

Such a fantastic dinner! Precious Mehrin used her cutting board, made a delicious looking briyani with rice and eggplant with several layers, a fresh vegetable salad plate with buttermilk dressing and even salad tongs. Outstanding! Please buy some better lanterns so the entire area is lit when filming. Even Quadir was reasonably calm tonight. Loved every minute!
Wow wow wow wow I love the dish! I never thought of adding saffron to chicken and rice and eggplants and potatoes. Thank you Mr director. This was very relaxing and enjoyable. One can only watch cement making so many times LOL. Not to take away from Mr Amir and his very individual and personal building projects but this was a nice refreshing change and to see the pups how fat they have become and that they are happy and now there is another one too I have to agree with some other comments that solar panels would be a very practical addition it would really light up the place and you could probably even run a small fridge but it would have to go somewhere where the sun always shines. Lots of sunshine for solar panels should not be a problem where you live😊 I have really learned to respect your customs and your ways. Greetings from Canada 🇪🇪

Good morning from USA. I enjoy watching. I have been watching for a month now and new to the channel. Last video someone gave a run down on the family which was so helpful and said which video to watch to see Milad the cameraman and Mahin’s husband (episode 2 beautiful cave something like that). I'm happy to see the chicken coop covered. It looks like there's another blanket lying on the ground behind it - could it be put inside the dog house, and something put over the roof. They really have no protection from the cold, and they seem to be doing so nicely and behaving well. They need your help!
