You got it right for most of your predictions. I really like watching your videos, especially about the Ahtal-Ka. Your explanations are reasonable and acceptable and It is also easy to understand. The way you told the stories really got me hyped up. Keep up the good work and stay healthy! : )
As for a new weapon, I like the thought of what I call the Hunting Chain. It's a close-mid range weapon that you can put attachments on to either do blunt or slicing damage, similar to the different Kinsects having either of them.
shit i was thinking the same thing lol. it'd be something like a castlevania whip (from the show) but MonHun. hell maybe they'll bring over the two japan exclusive weapons
As a new player I was blown back by this games bullshittery in some places (such as fundamentals for surviving like evade window being behind a skill level but ah whatever) But where it lacks in some areas, it makes up for in it being fun. Really damn fun. Would be cool if there was gore but this is a T rated game.
Would be good to have it be a high skill combo heavy weapon where you have to time attacks while keeping a certain distance so the tip of the weapon hits and dodging acts as an attack to continue the combo so you'd have to dance around attacks to keep your damage high.
THIS! Every time I go change my palico's armor in World I just imagine how fun it would've been if they had added prowlers to the game, beating XX using only prowlers really was one of my favorite playthroughs of any MH
I definitely think Underwater Combat will Return. As for a new Weapon Type I'm not tooooo sure about that. A LOT of time goes into the Weapons, Such as Armor Skills, Switch Skills/Hunter Arts, Models, Etc. But I do think mounting will be Refreshed. And 100% this game will Stylistically be like World.
Yooo, that underwater info from the interview is crazy! I need this right now. The only reason i still go sometimes back to MH3U is because of this feature. If they refine World´s mechanics and add cool shit like underwater combat and a new weapon type, this will be game of the decade O.O
I honestly hope they bring underwater combat back in a more streamlined way. A simple but good idea would be if you could have an item that doesn't take up a slot similar to whetstones in world/rise that when you use them underwater, give you a big push in whichever direction and they recharge over time or maybe you have to resurface to fill them with air before you can use them again. Would be cool too if we could get those water motorcycle things they had in Frontier to help close distances over long spans of water.
Personally, I would prefer something more organic to the in-game world. Not to say water jet vehicle is bad or anything but I think a raid rider or it’s equivalent would be better! With control somewhat similar to that of Zelda breath of the wild horse controls, mounted combat and all.
I think a pretty neat idea would be that in game story wise, they would give these miniature aqua jets that are applied to the armor and weapon, activating as soon as you are underwater to help movement. Mechanic wise this would be a default thing that you can do, just to explain why you can swim so well and fight at a decent speed underwater, the aqua jets are really just an excuse basically to allow for a more innovated movement underwater. You could even add perks to help increase attacks or swim speed underwater making it have a greater affect. That's just my take on it though, thought it would be a interesting idea so hunting could be a bit smoother and faster underwater.
I definitely agree they'll adjust mounting to something like Dragon's Dogma. I think they might have a seasons system tied into the weather system. I think they'll add a new blunt weapon, maybe a blunt ranged weapon.
Well, they did name it Monster Hunter Wilds, which - in my opinion - is as close as they could get to World, lol. I guess we still have to wait to see what they have in store for us, since they didn’t actually tell us much when they announced the upcoming game, sadly. Either way, I’m excited!!
Man im too hyped the shortest summer vacation in my country felt like the longest one... around 6 weeks and a few days left for TGS I really need to see what capcom are cooking, is it close to MHW but more polished, fixed the annoying parts and more monsters? is it its own unique thing? is it going the 4U route with no gimmick/maybe small gimmick and focuses on raw combat, monsters, story and endgame? (thats probably my ideal MH game) Like I know MH6 is good all MH games are but like how good are we speaking? like is it a HUGE game? will we get new weapons? underwater combat return? so many questions and these videos are very fun to watch I really like to speculate about games im excited for 2 things I doubt will happen but I would LOVE if they happened are: 1. a darkness system, like harder to see and some monsters become more dangerous in the night or become easier at the night? 2. make palamutes *hunting* dogs, like sniffing out the monster, baiting it to traps and so on
I would love for the World-style investigations to make a comeback, I loved tracking the monsters and it really gave the game that "researcher" vibe that made World so unique imho
In my opinion, we're not going to see MH6 before late 2024 and it'll likely be released in 2025. Simply because of Dragon's Dogma 2. I don't think Capcom wants 2 competing IPs on the market releasing close to each other. Even though one could argue that DD2 and MH6 are different games, different genres. Still. So, we'll see DD2 in 2024 and MH6 in 2025.
I'd love to see dual pistols with a shotgun; the shotgun is more powerful and on a meter charge that's built up like longsword. NO AMMO SWITCHING, and ranged might bring in some more players.
Two things I would like to see: 1. Slower, more methodical and deliberate hunts. 2. A brighter and more colorful world, like GU. Please do something about the volumetric fog in MH:World. It looks so grey and washedd out. The moment I turned it off, everything just pops. The world looks much more beautiful without it, albeit a bit unrealistic.
in terms of the ranged/melee, how about a flail whip? It would be an aimable projectile that swung back to you, and would also add another stun-type weapon.
MY PREDICTIONS FOR MONSTER HUNTER 6: 1. 4 ULTIMATE MIX with WORLD 2. 4 ULTIMATE COMBAT 3. UNDERWATER COMBAT 4. NEW AND RETURNING MONSTERS LIKE LAGIACRUS 5. SCOUT FLIES TRACKING SYSTEM 6. 16/16 player lobby 7. WORLD/ICEBORNE ENVIRONMENTS 8. NEW WEAPONS
Bro I will manifest underwater combat into existance through sheer force of will if I have to. It HAS to be in the next game. I refuse to believe we live in the timeline where tehy never bring it back.
Finally a reasonable and sensible prediction...holy crap people out there ask for some random ass shit that doesnt make any sense, some of which are literally 1 step forward 2 steps back
Being optimistic, i think we will see the weapons from the closed frontier game (tonfas and magnetic spike), because the idea is there and they can tweak some moves and stats. Some kind of a special move for weapons (like in the closed MHO). Also, i think we might see some sort of open world with all ecosystems and no loads (kind of a bigger scale of grinding lands) where we explore to unlock stuff. And Finally, we need Palamutes in all games for now on. :)
There are so many reasons why I'm excited for underwater to come back. True Lagi, Ceadeus, Dire, Gobul, countless possibilities for new species (dolphin, jellyfish, ray fish, mantis shrimp, sea serpent, urchin ...), revamp of old monster for water combat (Nakarkos, Zamtrios, Hermitaur, Ceanataur, Testsucabra), crazy locals to explore like a mangrove, flooded ice caverns, underwater coral highlands version, sunken ship graveyard, forgotten underwater city, or even fresh water such as a river, a swamp, mountain lake ... Endless possibilities. More bug inspired monsters would be great too. As for a new weapon maybe a whip, tonfas or rings like Mio's weapon in xenoblade 3.
I like the idea of Shield weapon (I'm gonna call it "Shield buster") It's similar to charge blade, but its attached to your arm, acting like stabbing weapon but can be used as a shield. Just imagine it like a buckler combined with Assassin's Creed hidden blade but big asf, and it can be charged for powerful charged thrust attack
I’d like to see an in-game armor builder tool that functions like ones people have put together. You’d open it from a menu, put the skills you want , other criteria, and search. From there, it would also take in decos, charms (if those are a thing), etc. into consideration and you could filter that stuff to your preference if need be. That would feel a lot better than manually entering in deco/charm data on a website or app. I speak from experience on that as I’ve spent hours entering deco/charm data into different set builders I’ve used in the past.
"Something along the line of World but bigger but the next step" Wilds. They called it wilds. That was pretty spot on. Not only it will shorten to MHW, but it represents a world that's untamed
my top five things I want in MH6 are as follows (1) Larger monster roster than MHW (2) Dynamic weather system with a wide range of weather events such as heavy rain and wind, thunder/lightning, blizzards, sandstorms, etc (3) Larger maps and more maps in general. Would personally love to see more man made structures in locales such as ruins and ransacked settlements. A large cave full of cave themed monsters would also be really cool. (4) 50/50 split of returning monsters and new monsters and I want most of the returning monsters to be monsters that we haven’t seen in a long time. (5) Underwater combat along with unique underwater areas within most of the maps.
I believe that, should they add new weapons, it has to be at least a pair. Given how they classify the "weapon categories" in pairs such as Hammer/Hunting Horn, LBG/HBG, Bow/IG, and so on.
If its likely to be a sequel/spiritual successor to MHW, I am willing to bet the game will be called something along the lines of Monster Hunter: New Frontiers (Not to be confused with MHF/MHFG/MHFZ\Z) A huge sweeping part of the New World remains unexplored, with us having only explored relatively small parts and small Locales in World, and the story could focus immediately after the events of the main game (post-xenojiva "welcome to your new home"), and after the events of Iceborne (Shara has been silenced, and the land is no longer plagued by powerful quakes... for now). A part of me hopes for even a half-open world design like MHStories 2, where you can freely explore (with load zones between locales/world areas), fast travel between areas, and freely wander into villages and settlements. I do hope for more large monsters, as i want to get involved in a bloodfest of one helluva free-for-all lmao. Either way Ive sunk about 600 hours in world, and another 250ish in rise Cant wait to sink another few hundred hours in MH6
Rise was fun but I hyped myself up way too hard for that game and I ended up not liking it nearly as much as World. Even though I am beyond excited for MH6 I will do my best and not make the same mistake again.
not really ur hype's fault its mostly rise is too different, combat is SUPER fast, they removed a huge chunk of the hunt, the art style is pretty eh and it still has washed out colors in the maps honestly bad amount of details becauase switch bottlenecked that game so hard for me I can be hyped and have high expectations for games like MH but in the end I will be happy if the game hits feel chunky and good like they did in world and forget my expectations lol
@@ahmadbugshan9603Boy do I hope you hype MH6 up too much so you can humbly understand where OP is coming from instead of selfishly turning your argument into a braindead “Rise bad”post Considering all the coping world fanboys have done with their expectations for MH6 in reaction to their backlash against Rise, I dearly hope it doesn’t live up to their expectations. They’re a whiny bunch that needs to be humbled, not further catered to.
I feel like I'm one of the few who preferred Rise over World. I dunno, I think the speed and color of Rise fit better with the series than World's approach. And I still hate how World added freaking 1 hit kill moves.
Still want monster hunter to be all about living the life of a hunter in the world. I would love it if they went like Toukiden 2. Also bring back the farms, the village progression, and add more time sinks that are not related to killing stuff. The game has become too much an arena fighter…
@@emblemblade9245 Toukiden 2 had a hybrid system for hunting. You would go to the open world, explore and any monsters you encounter and fight out there, you would unlock missions on the guild desk to hunt them. It is kinda la investigations on Monster Hunter World, but for most monsters. If anything, all World needs is to put al the zones together into a big map and that would be awesome
@@Exel3nceKind of curious how you’d define “filler”. Quest descriptions are also “filler”, right? As is any dialogue not directly related to the main story. Should we axe all of that too?
I doubt they’ll inspire the name off of world as a sequel. Mh has never done that besides the whole mh G/MHGU sort of thing so I’d say they’re gonna go for something else entirely
The underwater would work perfectly if it was extremely fast paced. If they made the swimming similar to Zora swimming in Zelda Majora's mask then id be all for it. Our hunters are super humans anyway, capable to falling off a mountain and being fine so I can see it happening
No thanks, the games are already way too fast paced. I don’t want to be Dante. Besides, it makes sense that you’d be slower underwater. Fighting a monster underwater should be harder than when you’re on land where you’re comfortable.
Hunting flail would be cool. Spiked ball on a chain that you use in melee but you can throw is and use it to snare/grapple the monster. So you use it to lock a monster down for your allies to attack it.
I really hope they release it on all platforms. With rise it became clear that people of all platforms are interested in the franchise, and that it pays or to release it on all of them. Mostly though I don’t want to miss out lol
@@Ten_Thousand_Locusts you may not have liked the game, I thought it was fine, but the console isn’t the reason for it. I mean mh4u and mh3u where both on the 3DS (mainline titles, not portable ones) and they worked beautifully and are some of the best my titles (except for controls but switch doesn’t have that problem).
Glad to see SOMEONE else who actually wants to see it on a Nintendo console, and respects how many fans of the series missed out on world. That said, I’d be happy with it just being on the followup to the Switch. I think it’d be realistic for it to release there during the expansion like a reverse of the other consoles getting Rise around the time Sunbreak came out. Though I wouldn’t be happy having to wait so long to find out if it’ll be playable there or not lol I started the series with 4U, and its world and art and gameplay captivated me despite it just being a 3DS game. I know that the devs are capable of making amazing games without the need for top of the line next gen graphics and power, and I’m tired of people thinking that the series needs such a thing to be good. There’s a lot of ignorance with the nu-MH community, and a lot of gatekeeping in regards to what they believe the series is actually like. I can only hope that the devs don’t fly too close to the sun, and remain humble yet focused. The game they’ll make will be better than what the fans come up with, no doubt.
I think the opposite style of play would suit a hybrid melee/ranged weapon, get in close and use your melee to gain charge, then get some distance and use a very potent ranged attack. This style could promote a risk/reward playstyle of using melee and then doing an animation locked high damage ranged attack (think similar to wyvernsnipe on HBG). Doing it as a new phial based weapon would be awesome as well considering SWAXE and CB are our only phial based weapons, a 3rd would be cool. Plus as a phial based weapon instead of a ballistics based move it could be a more falshy beam or flame style attack, i think a good name for the move could be condensed/compressed element discharge. Just a thought...
If they do make the maps larger than world, they should bring back Palamutes They’re less needed in the smaller maps and wirebugs of Rise, but I would kill to have them in World
I feel like palamutes will be a permanent addition. It would be weird to introduce a new companion that almost everyone liked and then just drop it since the palamutes weren't really a gimmick in the same way the wirebug was. They introduced wyvern riding in Iceborne, and then gave that feature to the palamutes in Rise, so assuming the maps will be even larger than World's I think they'll keep them in. I can see the buddy system being more like World though, where we get one palico and one palamute instead of having a whole team of them.
My hope is that if they do add underwater combat then we'll see something similar to iceborne and sunbreak where they bring in one final monster as the ending fight (Fatalis in IB and Amatsu in SB) and if they do then I'm hoping for Dire Miralis as the design both in the arena and the soundtrack were amazing, and maybe having it so you need to pop a cool drink or have heat guard to avoid DoT while in the water with it (since the lore is that the water is red from all living things boiling to death in the tainted sea from the presence of DM), and I think for the melee/ranged mix weap, similar in what you said but other way round, so charging up the weap with melee attacks in order to unleash devasting ranged attacks, similar to wyvern fire in a way
would be a big change and for the better for me if the hunter can carry 2 weapons at the same time, lets say i want to have 01 hammer for part breaking and 01 great sword for part cutting, you can change with a button press (no menu need) but you have a 01 or 02 second animation
You basically just described Magnet Spike without actually describing Magnet Spike lol. Cool ideas! Also regarding the weather issue... I actually hope they DO make it have a big impact. People have been wanting them to re-emphasize being prepared for hunts beforehand and shift the meta away from just being about DPS. I'd love to see quest conditions that make you consider the skills and items you have in your build more and punish you for not using them. Maybe they could make elemental resistance more important for that matter.
I’m guessing you haven’t played any of the games before World? Because gimmicks have always been a thing, and 99% of them time they become mainstays in the series, 4U’s gimmick, for example, was mounting and traversal. I’m glad they didn’t take your advice back then.
@@CaptainEffort I mean, those "gimmicks" are fine. Definitely wouldn't want mounting or palicos to be removed, but wirebugs, clutch claw, and hunting styles just don't need to be there.
@@LeoTheYuty I agree, that’s why I don’t want the game to have “no gimmicks” because sometimes the gimmicks are groundbreaking and positively effect all the future games to come. Sometime the gimmicks are controversial, like the clutch claw, and end up not coming back. But I don’t think that’s a reason for them to stop innovating altogether.
before introducing a new ranged weapon, they need to balance the current ranged weapons better. bow, and the bowguns are way too powerfull, compared to most melee weapons and the only drawback is their lower defense, which isn't even that problematic, when you can stunlock Monsters. i also don't think we need more than 14 weapons, i think 14 is a good sweet spot.
I think a Whiplash is a good mix of melee and range. You can change the tip of the weapon in two categories: Blunt type for stunning and impact, Blade type for slicing and wounding. Needles to say, you can grapple to the monster to control it, bring it down, or to simply give ample time for your teammates to rack up damage(only after meeting a certain threshold or condition, you can use grapling with this weapon).
I hope for at least 2 new melee weapons as well as more ranged. A boxing gauntlet type weapon, focusing on medium/slow combos and blunt damage. Essentially hammers on your hands. The second is a Bo-staff. Big elemental focus, average in terms of damage/speed/mobility. Builds charge that can be spent. Think Monkey King finishing moves. For ranged I think something like a Great Bow could be ideal. We already have Light and Heavy Bowgun, so a Heavy Bow would be suitable. No idea for a second new ranged weapon. The pre-existing ranged weapons already cover so much ground. Perhaps a harpoon-type weapon?
^people really don't like underwater combat. Um... no. Some people fucking hate it, but just as many fucking loved it. You know who we really don't know about? The vast majority: people who played world and never played tri/3 ultimate.
Weapon: for me a sword whip is cool like the one from castlevania it'll have a sword mode where it'll have basic longsword esque combos (ofcourse w/out the obnoxious) and a whip mode where it helps cover range. Combat: switch skill their super fun it gave underlooked weapons to shine, its quite unreasonable to not include this Flagship: please... no more of this "Xmonster can beat Ymonster and can square up against elder dragon" nonsense. I just wish that next gen. Flagship will be a monster with no BS hype attach to it much like the fated 4 No "elder dragon beating hype" attach to them and just straight good monsters to hunt.

Capcom, if you're reading this: If you let me play as a palico again, I'm buying the game day 1. Please, I love Prowler so much!
THIS! Every time I go change my palico's armor in World I just imagine how fun it would've been if they had added prowlers to the game, beating XX using only prowlers really was one of my favorite playthroughs of any MH
I know that is not happening ever again, but one man can dream. I so miss my Nyanters...
Why do we need an extra dash when we would already have the underwater dodge?
If underwater doesn't come back we riot.
I love how at 14:24 anjanath is just doing his down animation, then he sees lagiacrus and starts goin crazy
(thats probably my ideal MH game)
Like I know MH6 is good all MH games are but like how good are we speaking? like is it a HUGE game? will we get new weapons? underwater combat return? so many questions and these videos are very fun to watch I really like to speculate about games im excited for
2 things I doubt will happen but I would LOVE if they happened are:
1. a darkness system, like harder to see and some monsters become more dangerous in the night or become easier at the night?
2. make palamutes *hunting* dogs, like sniffing out the monster, baiting it to traps and so on
I would love for the World-style investigations to make a comeback, I loved tracking the monsters and it really gave the game that "researcher" vibe that made World so unique imho
"As close to mh world 2 as they can get"
Fucking nailed it. People are using the acronym MHW2 cause you can't just call Wilds MHW.
I'd love to see dual pistols with a shotgun; the shotgun is more powerful and on a meter charge that's built up like longsword.
NO AMMO SWITCHING, and ranged might bring in some more players.
Go try the dual pistol weapon from Dauntless and see how boring the gameplay is.
One idea for a new ranged weapon that would be interesting is Dual Pistols. I feel that would stand out form the larger bowguns.
Wroggi dual blades
Go watch dual pistol gameplay from Dauntless and see how boring that is.
@@marcheharvey2301 cuz that game is mid at best, could easily throw bayonets on them and make them the hybrid weapon
As a Fifth Fleeter, I NEED Underwater Combat
As a Gen 3 hunter I can tell ya. It was a wild time, but a fun one.
Two things I would like to see:
Where are you, dude! MHWilds is on the way!
great vid, would love to see an updated one/how your predictions have changed with the new wilds trailers
in terms of the ranged/melee, how about a flail whip? It would be an aimable projectile that swung back to you, and would also add another stun-type weapon.
MY PREDICTIONS FOR MONSTER HUNTER 6:
1. 4 ULTIMATE MIX with WORLD
2. 4 ULTIMATE COMBAT
3. UNDERWATER COMBAT
4. NEW AND RETURNING MONSTERS LIKE LAGIACRUS
5. SCOUT FLIES TRACKING SYSTEM
6. 16/16 player lobby
7. WORLD/ICEBORNE ENVIRONMENTS
8. NEW WEAPONS
I definitely don’t predict 4U combat, but I’d personally love that
Just please don’t add it to switch, it really dumbs down the game to make it portable I want it to be a beast of content and mechanics
I think it will be teased in september and then shown more in january.
Keep up the uploads my dude, love your content!
It's amazing how many points you got right in your prediction! Well done! I'm still hoping for a new weapon added later in the Master Rank expansion.
Wowie this is definitely the first time I have seen this video! Honest work though, always love your work. Keep it up ❤
There are so many reasons why I'm excited for underwater to come back.
I like what you’re slinging magic man. All your ideas are quite neat.
Such a good listen. ggs and excited to see how your predictions pan out :) Happy Hunting
Any and all monster hunter 6 prediction videos are my drug of choice
Omg I'm so in hype you can't understand - oh wait, you all can ♥️📯
I like the idea of Shield weapon (I'm gonna call it "Shield buster")
It's similar to charge blade, but its attached to your arm, acting like stabbing weapon but can be used as a shield.
Monster hunter wild has come bro
"Something along the line of World but bigger but the next step"
Wilds. They called it wilds. That was pretty spot on. Not only it will shorten to MHW, but it represents a world that's untamed
my top five things I want in MH6 are as follows
(1) Larger monster roster than MHW
(2) Dynamic weather system with a wide range of weather events such as heavy rain and wind, thunder/lightning, blizzards, sandstorms, etc
(3) Larger maps and more maps in general.
If its likely to be a sequel/spiritual successor to MHW, I am willing to bet the game will be called something along the lines of
Monster Hunter: New Frontiers
(Not to be confused with MHF/MHFG/MHFZ\Z)
A huge sweeping part of the New World remains unexplored, with us having only explored relatively small parts and small Locales in World, and the story could focus immediately after the events of the main game (post-xenojiva "welcome to your new home"), and after the events of Iceborne (Shara has been silenced, and the land is no longer plagued by powerful quakes...
Either way
Ive sunk about 600 hours in world, and another 250ish in rise
Cant wait to sink another few hundred hours in MH6
Its about time for a new weapon, especially since the new game may release bang on or close to the 20th anniversary.
I HOPE IT'S ON CONSOLE!!
Not on switch...
I AM READY FOR THE GRAPHIC OVERHAUL & plus it plays smoother on better consoles / PC
If we have a ranged mele hybrid, it should be partially blunt because we only have 2 blunt weapons.
Rise was fun but I hyped myself up way too hard for that game and I ended up not liking it nearly as much as World. Even though I am beyond excited for MH6 I will do my best and not make the same mistake again.
world is too good and that makes the rise garbage ,
not really ur hype's fault its mostly rise is too different, combat is SUPER fast, they removed a huge chunk of the hunt, the art style is pretty eh and it still has washed out colors in the maps honestly bad amount of details becauase switch bottlenecked that game so hard
for me I can be hyped and have high expectations for games like MH but in the end I will be happy if the game hits feel chunky and good like they did in world and forget my expectations lol
@@ahmadbugshan9603Boy do I hope you hype MH6 up too much so you can humbly understand where OP is coming from instead of selfishly turning your argument into a braindead “Rise bad”post
Considering all the coping world fanboys have done with their expectations for MH6 in reaction to their backlash against Rise, I dearly hope it doesn’t live up to their expectations. They’re a whiny bunch that needs to be humbled, not further catered to.
I feel like I'm one of the few who preferred Rise over World. I dunno, I think the speed and color of Rise fit better with the series than World's approach. And I still hate how World added freaking 1 hit kill moves.
@@alphawolf7417 i think your only one, , maybe you dont understand the world thays why you prefer rise..
Underwater combat may have permission to return if it behaves better. Perhaps with the addition of an underwater wirebug?
Still want monster hunter to be all about living the life of a hunter in the world. I would love it if they went like Toukiden 2.
Also bring back the farms, the village progression, and add more time sinks that are not related to killing stuff. The game has become too much an arena fighter…
Could you elaborate about the first thing?
@@emblemblade9245 Toukiden 2 had a hybrid system for hunting. You would go to the open world, explore and any monsters you encounter and fight out there, you would unlock missions on the guild desk to hunt them. It is kinda la investigations on Monster Hunter World, but for most monsters. If anything, all World needs is to put al the zones together into a big map and that would be awesome
Oh sorry, I meant more like what you were saying about “living the life of a hunter in the world”
hell no, this stuff is just beyond filler. its not needed
@@Exel3nceKind of curious how you’d define “filler”.
Quest descriptions are also “filler”, right? As is any dialogue not directly related to the main story. Should we axe all of that too?
I like the way you talk.
Bring back Yian Kut-Ku and I’ll be happy. The true mascot of MH has been neglected for far too long!
I doubt they’ll inspire the name off of world as a sequel. Mh has never done that besides the whole mh G/MHGU sort of thing so I’d say they’re gonna go for something else entirely
I want them to NOT spoil 90% of monsters pre-release again...
Well prepared to be upset then.
@@handtomouth4690 Probably! xD
man i hope they dont call it world 2 sounds like ASS wish devs can just get creative with their titles without being held back by their previous work
The underwater would work perfectly if it was extremely fast paced.
If Lagiacrus is coming back, they will need to bring back underwater combat too. The Landlocked Lagiacus of MHGU just didn’t cut it.
Buff gunlance you cowards
Hunting flail would be cool.
Spiked ball on a chain that you use in melee but you can throw is and use it to snare/grapple the monster.
So you use it to lock a monster down for your allies to attack it.
I really hope they release it on all platforms. With rise it became clear that people of all platforms are interested in the franchise, and that it pays or to release it on all of them. Mostly though I don’t want to miss out lol
Hell no, keep it of the switch. If anything Rise showed how poor of a fit nu-MH is for portables.
@@gansduif555 I love Rise, but it looks like a game from 2009. Mainline games just don't belong on the Switch.
Though I wouldn’t be happy having to wait so long to find out if it’ll be playable there or not lol
I started the series with 4U, and its world and art and gameplay captivated me despite it just being a 3DS game.
@@emblemblade9245
I completely agree
Ngl when I heard ranged/melee hybrid I immediately thought of a chain sword.
If they do make the maps larger than world, they should bring back Palamutes
They’re less needed in the smaller maps and wirebugs of Rise, but I would kill to have them in World
I feel like palamutes will be a permanent addition.
@@plastichouseplantNobody liked them.
@simonrockstream false but whatever you gotta lie to yourself.
About the new weapon you are describing that's pretty much like IG lol
they need to bring back the potion flex
My hope is that if they do add underwater combat then we'll see something similar to iceborne and sunbreak where they bring in one final monster as the ending fight (Fatalis in IB and Amatsu in SB) and if they do then I'm hoping for Dire Miralis as the design both in the arena and the soundtrack were amazing, and maybe having it so you need to pop a cool drink or have heat guard to avoid DoT while in the water with it (since the lore is that the water is red from all living things boiling to death in the tainted sea from the presence of DM), and I think for the melee/ranged mix weap, similar in what you said but other way round, so charging up the weap with melee attacks in order to unleash devasting ranged attacks, similar to wyvern fire in a way
Why don't they give you fin armor or jets or something so underwater movement is fun
No one knows if underwater is even coming back me personally I hope it doesn’t
these sound pretty sane.
would be a big change and for the better for me if the hunter can carry 2 weapons at the same time, lets say i want to have 01 hammer for part breaking and 01 great sword for part cutting, you can change with a button press (no menu need) but you have a 01 or 02 second animation
You might’ve predicted that.
Gunlance better be top tier this time around or im gonna get angry lol
It better be similar to world as much as can be because I ain’t playing rise 2
Monster hunter wilds was announced not too long ago, so a couple of months off🤷🏾♂️
It is crazy that you predicted this. Amazing job and amazing video.
I really like the ranged for charging and melee for discharging concept!
This might actually make me play a ranged weapon.
Please come back
I want a proper spear/Halberd....
MH GU native spear xD
@NekomiyaTH design wise sur ebut I'm talking a proper spear no shield
Just use that spear/halberd to poke and slash
And what interesting mechanics would you suggest your spear have?
So glad the all-knowing youtube algorithm suggested this video to me, when I searched for MH6!
When underwater mechanic back to mh 6 , mh3u will be popular again, content creator and streamer will play mh3u anticipation for mh 6
Definitely a few days late but the director for Sunbreak did also say with regards for future Monster Hunters to wait til Tokyo Game Show
To be honest I feel like I still haven't explored the depths of MH:World! The next 6 months, you better believe, I will pick it to shreds.
No more gimmicks please. More returners though, hopefully lagiacrus at last?
Pretty much every MH has had a gimmick though?
@@handtomouth4690 Well, hopefully a smaller "gimmick" like the slinger rather than a op death weapon like the clutch claw or wirebugs.
I’m guessing you haven’t played any of the games before World? Because gimmicks have always been a thing, and 99% of them time they become mainstays in the series,
4U’s gimmick, for example, was mounting and traversal.
Reupload? Either way nice work on the vid, keep it coming ❤
Yeah I'd foolishly put a test version on public - and thanks for the super kind words!
I enjoyed hearing your predictions...
I agreed with most of what you said, it made sense...
I can see a lot being possible, in MH6...
Good Job!
before introducing a new ranged weapon, they need to balance the current ranged weapons better. bow, and the bowguns are way too powerfull, compared to most melee weapons and the only drawback is their lower defense, which isn't even that problematic, when you can stunlock Monsters. i also don't think we need more than 14 weapons, i think 14 is a good sweet spot.
A ranged and melee hybrid is a great idea. I'm already getting excited just thinking about some kind of gunspear
Here today after tgs disappointment
^people really don't like underwater combat.
Um... no. Some people fucking hate it, but just as many fucking loved it. You know who we really don't know about? The vast majority: people who played world and never played tri/3 ultimate.
Weapon: for me a sword whip is cool like the one from castlevania it'll have a sword mode where it'll have basic longsword esque combos (ofcourse w/out the obnoxious) and a whip mode where it helps cover range.
Combat: switch skill their super fun it gave underlooked weapons to shine, its quite unreasonable to not include this
Flagship: please... no more of this "Xmonster can beat Ymonster and can square up against elder dragon" nonsense. I just wish that next gen. Flagship will be a monster with no BS hype attach to it much like the fated 4 No "elder dragon beating hype" attach to them and just straight good monsters to hunt.
Well, are you going to do a response to this video now? Could be a good one. Might need to wait until a full trailer though.
i too heavily think that underwater will return, i just hope we get a namielle fight underwater itd be so cool (also retire rajang this game)
