The pro is a great phone but at just over a grand, putting a 10 times optical zoom would've crushed Samsung.

Finally 👐 thank you. I've waited for this kind of video.. Preordered the regular X5 because the 300€ difference is just too much. They don't have exactly same camera setup tho. There's a difference on the main sensor aperture f/1.7 vs 1.8 and 5axis vs 2axis OIS plus 13 vs 5 channel colour spectral sensor. Pro's ultrawide have a freeform lens, regular not.

@@everstar8056 it depends on your preferences.. X5 has better cameras (though 10 Pro has better main sensor but the processing isn't its best side, ultrawide better on X5 for sure and telephoto even it's only 2x it offers better quality images) and 10 Pro has better display and latest processor...otherwise quite similar phones but personaly I think the best option is to consider Oneplus 9 Pro (same ultrawide like X5 series, QHD LTPO display, better speakers, alert slider, 65W charging is enough) it has quite interesting price now
@@dominikkocir9306 the cameras may be slightly different but the images and video footage wasn't. Is the regular X5 better than the regular pixel 6 ?

They are improved now and better
Standard x5 looks more narrow and easier to hold
What 5g networks does it support in the states? Verizon ? At&t?
I went for the standard. I couldn't see €300 value in the pro. Having the same cameras was the clincher for me.
Me too. Also bit smaller and battery last longer. Friend of mine have x5 pro and i have ordinary x5. When we compare SoT my lasts longer. Cameras almost same, but not quite. X5 pro makes better photos, i do nit know how but it does. Also better video stabilisation. I still prefer my X5 compared to X5pro. 250 euro cheaper and it quite bargain to be fair for 530 euros i paid for it new.
@Harry Im very satisfied with phone. I love every aspect of it. Battery life is exceptional for flagship, photos very good (not perfect), exceptional speakers with nice bass, great haptics, super snappy etc. I had Oneplus 8 pro before, and OS is same, so im used to it, but overall feeling is that Oppo is more refined phone. For price under 600 euros i cannot see better offer than X5.

they share the same camera SENSORS , but not the same lens and set-up.
I have the oppo find X3 NEO... but It got a cracked screen.... excellent phone though.... just thinking about getting either the find X5 pro or the x5.

How is the battery life of X5?
The cameras are slightly different.. the image stabilisation on the Pro uses 5 axis as opposed to 3 axis on the 5x.
It was barely noticeable

You forgot the extra stabilisation on the main camera in the pro model. Non pro only has standard OIS.
What's the battery life like on the standard X5?
I've got pro but had the standard and the battery life on both is fantastic lasts all day 15 mins to charge fully for me Samsung is terrible battery life and extremely slow charge at the price they charge minimum fast charge should be 67 watt piss poor I wouldn't go near Samsung again unless they bring a phone out that charges in 30 mins fully with charger in box

Cameras are not the same , they share only the same sensors , the camera setup , like OIS and lens, are different .

Ceramic pro seems a a bit thicker than the x. Is it ?
For someone who only uses 60hz refresh rate makes lots of 90-120 minute calls and doesn't game but takes lots of photos and wants a quick responsive phone to keep at least 3 years, would the find x5 be the better choice as it's smaller, lighter and at 60hz will have better battery life, any thoughts ?

I've got the x2 pro which has 512 GB internal storage, so why has these phones gone backwards, doesn't make sense to me.
no - they come with 512GB options - they are just more expensive
You need to go into battery and turn on high performance single core on the pro is way higher and multicore buy turning in on you unlock the full power of the 8th gen 1 and the snapdragon 888 is nowhere near I'd like a comparison with switched on as you get the true difference between.
How good are the speakers, does it have a dual speaker set up?
They are loud and well balanced stereo 🔊.
Mine Find X5 is performing much better audio , than my wife Sony 5 II , louder and clearer , like a bluetooth speaker , vs laptop speakers .

You should not be annoyed. I managed to get my girlfriend the X3 neo for £31/month through EE in the UK
The X5 is a great deal on EE at the moment. It's cheaper than the pro anyway but EE are giving £308 of discount against the standard model and not the pro. However there is an extra £100 of cashback on the pro. But £208 of extra discount and £100 cashback is nothing to be grumbled at.

I dont think it is. A good gimble is £120 and that's the main difference.
I bought the X5, arriving tomorrow. For me the price difference is too high. All tho the pro looks better 😍👍🏻

I have had no problem with it except a slightly overexposed video on a bright day. The night video and camera make up for it though.

correction the charge: it is not 52 procent in 10 min but 30 procent on the pro. it startet with 22 procent on board
I have bought one from China but unfortunately it doesn't have Google play service as built in so I had to download it from website but its not working as the original built in

Display only makes a difference on intensive games with high visuals. Hardly any noticeable difference day to day
Well, what about SLR level 5 axis stabilization on pro model?
The OPPO’s five-axis stabilization is body stabilization + lens stabilization, the benefit is that the axis of stabilization increases to achieve the true 5-axis, while the magnitude of stabilization increases to achieve three times the amount of general OIS stabilization.
So faster shutter time and better overall capture quality and super stable.

@@MrGoro1990 Na filmiku te zdjęcia wyglądają bardzo podobnie między nimi. Ja od 2 miesięcy mam X5 Pro - świetny i bezkompromisowy sprzęt. Na blackfriday były powalające ceny. Spadały do 2,6k. Teraz pozostała tylko ciekawość po fakcie. Jedno mogę powiedzieć, jeżeli zwykła X5 ma tego samego procka do zdjęć, oprogramowanie i matryce to nie ma co się zastanawiać. Brać i tyle. Czy tam soczewka jest szklana czy z tworzywa sztucznego, nie ma znaczenia. Za 1.7k pewnie nie będzie nic lepszego.

You didn't mention the difference in IP rating.
IP68 vs IP54 is a big difference for many people. Dropping your phone in the toilet will be fine for the pro but not the non-pro.
Mention that next time instead of doing a battery charge example that wasn't necessary.
